Birth Injury Center
Приєднався 25 жов 2021
Childbirth is supposed to be a celebratory time, welcoming your newborn baby into the world and your family. New parents don’t want to think about what could go wrong during their child’s birth. Unfortunately, physicians and other medical professionals tasked with the care of the mother and her newborn don’t always perform the necessary actions during pregnancy to prepare for a safe birth. Alternatively, everything could go right during your pregnancy, but your doctor or other hospital staff might perform the wrong actions or inactions, either negligently or intentionally, causing a preventable yet irreversible injury to your infant during labor and delivery.
If your infant suffers an injury before or during their birth, it’s important to know everything you can about birth injuries and how to safeguard yourself and your child best as you determine your options for treatment, long-term care, and financial and legal help.

Kernicterus and Jaundice In New Borns
Переглядів 9 тис.2 роки тому
Roughly 60% of all newborns will get jaundice. If the jaundice is severe and isn’t promptly treated, toxic levels of bilirubin in the infant’s brain can lead to kernicterus, a severe form of brain damage. Bilirubin is the yellow-orange by-product formed in the liver while breaking down old red blood cells; it’s the reason that the skin and eyes of people with jaundice turn yellow. Kernicterus c...

There is no cure for CP, and it tends to be a lifelong condition, although its severity can range from mild to severe. The U.S. Cente...

I had placenta abruption at 37 weeks and I lost my baby
My child have CP
Well explained.
I had this happen to me with my second child my son Jaxon. I ended up delivring very quickly once it was discoverd and he was full term. however my uterus never recoverd so i had a full hystorectomy 5mo post birth and i was 25. I had a 3 yr old daughter and a son so i felt blessed.
This preterm baby (me) is watching this video. I was supposed to have severe HIE when I was born. Me and my mother were very close to death. I have lived a normal life, no cognitive or physycal consequences, all this thanks to God and a wonderful medical staff who helped us 48 years ago. I feel so lucky to have no disabilities.
That is amazing that your medical staff knew what to do 48 years ago. Thank you for telling your story. Our son was just born a week ago and was diagnosed. Your story helps me have hope to trust in God more in this journey.

My younger brother has moderate cerebral palsy with seizures and an intellectual disability
So sorry to hear that. Im presently taking care of a cerebral palsy patient. 56 years old
How can you life going? I am worried for my daughter she has cp & 5 yrs?
My younger brother has moderate cerebral palsy and is 32 going on 33 years old and has spastic cerebral palsy and my bully in middle school mocked him. I would’ve stood up to him and fought him immediately if I knew then what I know now.
There's this one baby I know cannot move his body, he's 5months old only the mouth and eyes, does this mean it's cerebral pulsy?
I think hypoxia caused my son's autism....
Oh, I will never recommend this for anyone. Is the worst experience woman’s ever can go through please people who have seen this video and seen my comment Do not try for Caesarian C-section if you have a chance of natural birth.
I have CP
It’s so hard to tell what kind my husband has. He has spastic diplegia (very mild, his gait is not affected but everything’s tight and he has lots of muscle spasms in his legs) but also cannot write clearly and has some coordination problems with his hands. I always leave the door unlocked if I’m home because he has problems getting the key in the lock. He also has vision problems. He has done so well despite the complication he had at birth its best case scenario.
Sometimes people with diplegia have their hands affected too cause of where the neurons are in the brain
There is a Dr that you can get in touch with Dr Oyalo on UA-cam. Am excited to share about how his herbs works perfectly in reversing my son autism. now his speech has improved

I have a girl 5 years she is walking probm is speaking nd she harass to much beating other she can't stay walking too much even during day she can't sleep , help me pls I m stressed
yeeeah, i respect ppl with cerebral palsy too much to call ppl with cerebral palsy "ppl with cp" sounds like "ppl with with child p*rn"
That’s literally just you. I say people with CP and I have cp. Just you
I go with CP being more appropriate for the medical designation, but I got warned, here that the bot scans for inappropriate meanings like abuse of children and that overrules what the real, more appropriate meaning should be Funny nobody complains about MS vs Ms verses other things that begin with MS. Like the state. Off my soapbox, rantcocer 😂😅😊
I have celebral palsy
Thank you for the easy explanation❤
Hello respect sir/ madam congitial hemiparis which disability?
Im a surviving baby from this. I was born at 31 weeks.
My arm never cleared up but therapy still helps. I’m 27 and even though I have limited range in my arm it’s not the noticeable. I hope that everyone who has this ends up recovering and gaining strength
at this age , does therapy helps? and what about surgeries? can we do surgeries at this age?
Wow 🎉
can epidural causes brain damage to the baby which later can result in autism ?
My son was recently diagnosed with cerebral palsy, it’s not super bad, everything else is pretty normal his legs just refuse to work. This makes me feel more confident in my mother’s instinct.
There will be a cure. It won’t come from doctors, it will come from adults with mild cases who are doing everything they can to stay as healthy as possible. Healthy adults need at least 300-400 mg of magnesium per day-do it. Healthy adults need Vitamin D and exercise-do it. Healthy adults need 4700 mg of potassium for their muscles and Omega 3 to heal their brains-do it. Treat these kids with respect the way Olympic athletes are treated, and teach them to own their bodies and their healing rather than being “incurably disabled.” Send them to the best schools and help them launch careers. They will surprise you.
Makes sense to me. It was about the time doctors started pushing this useless drug that ADHD and Autism cases started to rise.

I had placenta abruption at 38 weeks, but didn’t know while I was in Labour. Went in Labour at 1 cm and 4cm was bleeding heavily and doctors plus midwife couldn’t tell were the blood was coming from… at first they thought it’s a Show meaning womb or uterus is preparing for birth but unfortunately it was not the case… at 4 cm I continue to loose a lot of blood and my doctor decided to make a decision that this a life threatening situation and had to do an emergency c-section… mind you this is my third pregnancy and it was my first time doing a c-section. All we can do is praise God and without him we are nothing 🙏Grace of God🙏
❤ God Bless you! So happy your baby made it too!
How is your baby,im afraid my wife also had placenta abruption, and i read alot in article that the child may have learning disabilities,i hope is not true, im so worried about my son future
Thank you this was so helpful
amazing video, thank you
Correlation doesn't equal causation and there are no studies demonstrating causation OR even a blind controlled study. Autism is genetic people and lawyers. Stop trying to find a scapegoat and accept the fact already.
There is a Dr that you can get in touch with Dr Oyalo on UA-cam. Am excited to share about how his herbs works perfectly in reversing my son autism. now his speech has improved
Correlation is still suspicious of causation
I am praying for all these children 🙏
I think this happened to my son during child birth, I was extremely concerned about the form of his skull and he is three years old now and shows alot of aggression towards people and he laughs at everything almost as if its a coping mechanism. I am not sure how or where to carry him so that he can be properly diagnosed but it is extremely worrying.
My kid is showing similar behaviour How’s is your kid now
Thanks you Dr Igudia on UA-cam for all you do in my life and my family. I went for a test today after taking the medication i ordered from Dr Igudia and I tested Type 2 Diabetes negative. Thanks doctor I will keep letting the world know about your good work sir.
