    Whats the reason behind arranging alkyne verticaly but other compound benzene and alkane horizontal.?

    • @Nana-hz2tr
      @Nana-hz2tr 2 роки тому

      He said it was because it was linear and sp hybridized

      You may arrange in both directions but vertical arrangement of alkene matches with the experimental results. That's why it's arranged. You might argue !! But we developed theories according to experimental results. So simply accept it and move forward.

    The reason for the orientation of alkenes and alkynes is not clear.

    Sir May i know why alkene is not linear?

    • @okindovictor586
      @okindovictor586 Рік тому

      Alkene can't be linear because of bond angle 120

    Hello sir, Thanks for the explantaion. But can you please tell, why the magnetic field inside the ring is downward? According to which law or principle you are determining the direction of induced magnetic filed?

    • @zakiab3328

      Same question here

    • @ashwinikelkar3587
      @ashwinikelkar3587 Рік тому

      might be because the pi electrons are delocalised cylindrically over the aromatic ring.

    • @aksatyajeetmajhi7898
      @aksatyajeetmajhi7898 Рік тому

      @@ashwinikelkar3587 Yeah you are right! you are telling the reason for generation of magnetic field. But cylindrical electron density doesn't answer the direction of magnetic field. If you think this is responsible for the downward direction of magnetic field, why induced magnetic field not in upward direction?
