1.6 million crazed metalheads chanting " die" at the top of their lungs.
Most metal moment in history! 🤘
🔥🔥🔥🎸🎸🎸
Context: Song is about Moses saving the slaves from the Egyptian pharaoh. The fact the song is called 'Creeping Death' has people overlook the lyrics.
Yes I said that at the end
The Passover
Don't apologize for running it back. You're witnessing one of the greatest live performances of all time! 🤘💜
Thanks you
Nobody can rip the "die" chant like Newstead!!! Dude is an animal! Forget about it!
Newsted turned this song into the super human live song it became. It was great before, but he brought it to another level!!
I was a metal vocalist and rhythm guitarist for 20yrs and people who don't think musicians are athletes are wrong. You better be in shape. Thanks for the reaction. Hope things get better for you. Many blessings 🙌
Well said! Thank you
This was performed not long after the fall of the Berlin Wall. There’s 1.6 Million people there. This is an iconic moment, not only in music history but, world history.
Oh wow I didn’t know that
I love metal bc of my dad. I’m glad you’re enjoying this genre too! ❤ keep up the work bro 👌🏼
Thanks! Will do!
Heck yeah!!
So glad to see people introduced to music I grew up with!
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
\m/ to that.
When I went back to Uni as an older student back in 2001, one of the guys I met in class ended up giving up as he decided to become a muso instead of an animator. He said, OMG man, you guys were spoiled, there is no one these days like this. As I say to anyone, dude, you can carry on the torch be yourself and play what your heart lets out!
No matter how many times I have seen this video, it is still lit.
‼️‼️‼️
Thanks for reacting to this! I’ve been waiting for you to! You’re seeing true raw talent that’s the Metallica I love!! Definitely in their prime! You should start doing their 1989 Seattle show every song is kickass! One of the best concerts ever! Imo… and the energy is so intense through the whole show!!!!
So raw
And now there is the absolute climax of live performances: Seattle 1989 live, any song off of this is off the chain. Battery being the most intense song in this concert
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Whether it's the album version or live... the energy of this song spills thru... in my opinion their best album
But... any of the first 5 are cool with me... I love all rock, heavy metal and even harder...but when it comes to Metallica it's over all the rest... FAN4LIFE🤘🏽😎... I'm definitely following your journey 🫡
🔥🔥🔥
Yay!
‼️🙌🙌🙌
They still do up to 18 songs a convert...in Paris 2023...that was a great show!!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
The Untouchables 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
🙌🙌🙌
6:22 the little thing Jason does with his hand before the switch-up is probably my favorite part of this performance, aside from the Die! chant and when Jason sings
🔥🔥‼️
1million+ at his show.
Rumor has it that folks are still leaving that joint.
You said it, this was Legendary. What a banger of a performance. Love checking out your reactions man, stay strong.
Thank you! Will do!
They still tour and are still incredible!!
Saw them live in 1984 at a club in West Hartford CT...front row standing only..was deaf for 2 weeks... But it was awesome!!!!
Amazingggg
Nice reaction to one of my favorit metalluca songs. Back in the days everybody wanted to see this concert on video tape
🙌🙌🙌
Metallica is always fire... Thank you for another banger video - I actually live only about a mile from where the drummer grew up! Keep your head up Stax, stay strong bro...
Rock on! Thank you so much
My man! Ok now try Battery the studio version. For Whom the Bell Tolls would be a good live one. Sending good vibes your way homie, hope all is well!
I'll check it out!
And I thought I'd leave you with something a bit different, if interested. "George Benson - This Masquerade" (by the channel: Mendesbloqueado) --George Benson was an American jazz fusion guitarist, singer/songwriter. He began his professional career at age 19 as a jazz guitarist. He was a child prodigy, at the age of eight he played in an unlicensed nightclub; and at age nine he started to record, and out of the four records he recorded two of them got released. He has released a total of thirty-six studio albums throughout his career. And as always, I enjoyed rocking with you, Stax. Thanks for sharing. peace out~
JC look at James shredding that guitar. Adrenaline and testosterone 🔥, ☮️💜🤘🎸🎸🎸🥁
🙌🙌🙌
bro concerts back then were insane, go see some of these old bands before they die!
I wish I would’ve been there to see one
5:24 sometimes... there's no apologies needed for 'running it back."
Fun facr: They actyally had to shorten the show a bit, cuz Larz gashed his finger open on a cymbal...he managed to finish a song or 2, even after gushing blood...Legend 🤟
💙💙
Pantera has a documentary called "Pantera's Vulgar Videos Volume 3." Part of it documents their time in Russia. Pantera used the "Domination" video in the documentary. That would be a fun reaction.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Let's go baby!! i Love this song!
Me tooo
When i was a kid around 7 my aunt used to teach how to tag bubble letters and give me her Metallica tapes to listen to.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@StaxReacts Ayo.. Theres a band out now called Creeping Death. Ive seen them live. Something you should check out. Highly recommended. Not sure how much Metal youve gone into but let me tell you when you tap into the more underground side of it its literally a huge iceberg of tunes. Theres some fuck shit along the way to filter through as far as the message but most of my favorites come with a real message in the music. Check out an album by a band called Dystopia. The album is called Human Garbage. Peace.
Woot! So glad to see this again. And to see you react to it. Probably my favorite Metallica song.
❤️
And now you know why some of older folk have neck and back problems. This is what we grew up on. Back then obviously the tickets were much more affordable, you could possibly see 5 shows in a week's worth of time. It was a great time to be alive. 🤘
Hahaaa I see
What a banger 🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic reaction Stax 🔥
Thank you so much linda
Great reaction👍🤘
Thank you 🙌
Metalheads telling a biblical story!
Love when this happens!
🙌🙌🙌
Thoughts be with you, Brother! I hope whatever you're is short-lived.
🙌🙌🙌
Yeah!! 🙌 🙌 🙌🤘💛
❤️🙌
I saw them only six years after this in 1997 with my friends in high school.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🔥🔥
Wonderful ❤❤❤.
Thank you! Cheers!
This is a classic concert obviously. Never gets old. I love that you're on a Live Metallica kick. The day before you did Disposable Heroes, I was thinking you LOVE DIsposable Heroes Live in Mexico City 2009. Hopefully, even though you've heard the song, you'll still check out this live. It's another classic Metallica performance and the sound is amazing. Hope you'll consider. Keep on rockin, Stax!
Thank you so much, I’ll be sure to check out the live version
There is nothing like being front row during the “die” chant.
🔥🔥🔥
That was a super big deal back then because of the fall of the iron curtain and all these major acts played Russia for the first time ever. I was in high school back then and saw the black album tour twice. The first was just Metallica, no opening act, and two encores and later that year the stadium tour with them and GNR with Faith No More as the opener and the pit for Metallica was nuts. Really good times for this old headbanger.
Oh wow I didn’t know that
GOAT
Staxx!!! You makin me want to send you jewelry and stuff!! xo. luv you. 💓
You should! Hahaaaa love you too sue
@@StaxReacts 😘
God damn Jason was bad ass.

🙌🙌🙌

You also might like disturbed down with the sickness
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
React to castr6 - Black flagging🔊🔊🔥
Behold !!!.......the day Metallica conquered Russia! The boys were at their peak here.
I wonder what the "pucker factor" was for all those soldiers when the crowd started chanting "Die!".
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🙌
Broo pls react to gully - the cold room
One of the best songs ever! Trust me🔥
First!
🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽
Fade to black live bro it’s a must
🙏🏽💙‼️
This song was inspired by the second book of the Old Testament in the Bible. It makes you feel like what the Jews went throw during that time. And talkin' about a sea of people, that has to be the biggest concert ever Lol
Correct
Now check out his guitar teacher Joe Satriani play lol…..summer song of surfin with the alien …just sayin
Check "ORION" mate, from master of puppets album, u will blown your mine
🔥🔥🔥🙌
Yes straight out of the Bible, God sent his Angle, Creeping Death, for all doors not painted with lambs blood
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Same show as Pantera Domination.
🙌🙌🙌
Kirk might be ok
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Consider the Times, this is just after the fall of the Soviet Union. The end of the Cold War, Just a few years before this just getting caught listing to music from the West; could result in a visit from the Secret Police in the middle of the night, and Metallica likely would get you a trip to the Gulags. Heavy Metal was a no no. This concert was a very big deal. A moment for the history books. The Psychic Energy must have been off the chart like nothing before or since.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Christian metal, lol
More like jewish
Scary asf 1.5 mil people screaming die......in Russia lmao. One of the true epic moments in rock history. Pantera was at the show and if oyu haven't chk out Domination at the same show and watch Dime do a legendary guitar destruction.
🙌🙌🔥🔥
I LOVE KIRK HAMMET!!!!! I DO!!!!!! HE IS DEFINATELY METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I have to say, you want to see fast fingers on guitar, look at Dave Mustaine. He used to be Metallica's lead guitarist before Kirk was. He WAS... Past tense, he was even faster
Metallica.....performing a song about the Bible.....in the SOVIET UNION! Imagine what a mind twister that was at the time.
🙌🙌🙌
