I always like that you put the effort in to add a popup with some gameplay footage, I think that cost a lot of energy but it makes it watching 50x better... thanks for the effort.
Thank you for the video. Hadn't listed this one on my map. I think that one of the reasons it is so well stocked is because it is 3km from the station, making it daunting for a lot of people.
I know you get this a lot, but I hope one day your channel will blow up. With the epic quality you put into these videos, you deserve WAY more views and subs. Please never stop doing these videos bro, they are so good 😊
jheezz the animation and the transtions🔥🔥 keep doing a great job man I love seeing the evolution of ones editing! love your videos keep up the good work dude :) from Toronto Canada
I'm in Japan currently game hunting, and I will say the thing that has been throwing me off the most is how widely differently priced games are for the same game even between hard offs and bookoffs. I found loose pokemon gba games for 550 and only picked my own copies up because I assumed that would be the price everywhere. The next cheapest I have found since is 2500. It's crazy.
The lesson when game hunting in Japan is to never pass up a deal if you see one. I've had exactly the same experience in the past and I'll be back in a few weeks and I'm definitely picking up good buys as and when I see them.
@@4amLaundry I have had much more success at book offs at this point honestly. Granted I am hunting for very specific games, and the bookoff + and bazzars seem to have so much more
On the saturn I imported a Japanese one and a handful of games for a really great price! was collecting for a bit but paused after getting our dreamcast last christmas. been hyper focused on collecting for it but perhaps I need to resume collecting for saturn?! also have a modest SNES/SFC collection going too!
i snagged a white saturn, yellowed plastic (that i retro brighted a bit back to white with the sun and h2o2 perox) for $23 shipped from tokyo japan, thing worked but was marked "junk", gonna get a OSD in it and enjoy eventually
The Saturn is an amazing console to collect for in Japan, it's sometimes completely overlooked and it's the total opposite to the US version in terms of game prices. I absolutely love this console, amazing 2D graphics and RGB out of the box, plus near perfect arcade ports. I'm just holding out for a really nice one for the "perfect" price lol.
@@BanditsBest686yeah I found a pretty sweet deal on ebay for a Japanese one, two controllers plus some great starters: daytona, vf1, fighting vipers, fighter's megamix and super robot wars f about 150 bucks! definitely one of sega's best consoles, no doubt about it.
@@4amLaundrydefinitely one of my favorites! honestly torn between it and the dreamcast as my favorite sega console. so many great games on saturn though, especially all the great 2D and arcade ports, no question about it!
I forgot to add it in the video but there's a universal attachment that records composite to SD card so you won't need tapes, that's usually broken on junk camcorders. It's like 100 bucks so saving up for it!
prices are pumping, that virtual boy i bet isnt even solder fixed either so thatll need the repair if it doesnt need it now since its been sitting those ribbons can let loose at any time
Nah I get this a lot, I just make videos bro, you'd be surprised how easy this is. Check out my previous couple of videos where I show you how to plan your trip!
One thing I've noticed is how say boxed used N64 games etc always look in mint condition in these type of videos. I guess they take more pride I looking after stuff. But despite my efforts, even my copy of Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 has a crease on the top. Same with my Hong Kong version of Ocarina Of Time unfortunately.
@@4amLaundry Unless you really want to play something, If it's not complete and in decent condition, it's always better to put your money elsewhere and wait. I collect 12" Rave vinyl. Some of the prices are ridiculous now. Certain tunes will probably never be in my collection. But as I always say "You can't own them all". Cool video BTW though mate. I'd go crazy on those cheaper ones! Happy hunting bro. 💗👊🏻
Tea dog for the gameboy is EXPENSIVE on ebay FIND ME ONE WHEN ADAM GOES TO JAPAN lol 😅 it’s $21 plus $27 shipping Canadian for the gameboy Tea Dog and did you know there is a Tea dog Nintendo switch game $27 to buy on ebay and $15 shipping Canadian 😮 WHY DO THE JAPANESE world sell such high prices of Japanese games when you find it at $3 usd that’s around $5 cad. 😢 anyways enjoying your video :)
I know nobody asked but I opened this video on the toilet
I love your streams together
Gotcha 😂 know what you were doing
😂 it’s ok lol 🎉

Agreed!

That's true, I'm so used to that when it comes to good Hard Offs that I forget it can be a bit much for some people lol, I'll mention it in part 2
I know you get this a lot, but I hope one day your channel will blow up. With the epic quality you put into these videos, you deserve WAY more views and subs. Please never stop doing these videos bro, they are so good 😊
Appreciate it bro!
going hard off 😤
♥ the FF15 music at 8:34
Thanks boss 🙏
used to live basically mid way between musashi sakai station and this hard off, would go there all the time. Picked up a power glove there!
The PAX Power Glove! Hope you got a good deal on it, I run into it from time to time but it's always like 30k lol
@@4amLaundry I don't think I paid anywhere near that much but honestly I can't remember now. Love your vids btw💖
4am, love your videos bro. Picked up the HL2 and Adventure Island 2 from the Mitaka Hard Off today. Keep up the awesome work, brother
Cheers! Glad they found a good home and enjoy game hunting!

Great vid man!
It's amazing to see how Japanese kids kept their games in perfect shape and condition all these years.
Right? It's all on such good shape, I think it's mostly because there's just so much of it.
Nice video !!!!!!!!! I've been all day watching all your videos lol, big hug from Spain!
Thanks bro, glad you're enjoying them!
Mitaka is a great place, you can find the Ghibli museum in this city. Are you planing to visit suruga-ya, a-too...shops ?
Cheers

Yeah it's why I don't go to Book Offs a lot and just prefer to stick to Hard Offs, I have their point app so it adds up and I get discounts too.
Well said brother 🙏
@@4amLaundry I have had much more success at book offs at this point honestly. Granted I am hunting for very specific games, and the bookoff + and bazzars seem to have so much more
@@4amLaundry also I downloaded the app, but not having an English version hinders my understanding significantly lol
Keep up the grind. Fan from 🇵🇭
Gyomu Super and Hard Off in the same building? I feel like there has been a hole in my heart for my entire life but I couldn't understand until now.
I did some grocery shopping off camera afterwards lol, it's like the perfect combination of stores
Great video i always enjoy game hunting expecially in japan

Dudeee, shoot a video like that!!! You could record the video back to your PC with a capture card if you can’t get the SD card method to work! :D
I forgot to add it in the video but there's a universal attachment that records composite to SD card so you won't need tapes, that's usually broken on junk camcorders. It's like 100 bucks so saving up for it!
Sorry to hear you got stuck with a broken Saturn...shit happens....love this episode though 😊
It was super cheap so no big deal lol
Love your videos :) walking shoes are ready 👠

Yup, it's why I stay away from Virtual Boys but from what I've seen they've always been on the expensive side here.
@4amlaundry do you offer tours in Japan? I’ll be in Tokyo 3/24 and could pay!
Nah I get this a lot, I just make videos bro, you'd be surprised how easy this is. Check out my previous couple of videos where I show you how to plan your trip!
I would love to have that half life box... here in malaysia box game of anything is super hard to find
Yeah I just only pick up PC games when they're ultra cheap

Yeah they can be rough sometimes but most of the time they're nice. It's also why I'm so picky because I can just wait for a pristine condition one.

That's why we invest in flash carts and a Mister and collect at our own pace :) Appreciate it!
10:55 whoaaaaa
GET THAT 11:30
I never seen Aladdin megadrive game on your vids
Are they possibly rare?
It's not rare but definitely more uncommon, I also don't look at mega drive games enough lol
