Hi Kezia! I am traveling to Dakar later this week and am really excited to shop in the markets! Unfortunately I don't speak French or Wollof-- did you find that many of the shopkeepers knew some English? Considering hiring a guide to help me shop around and communicate with the locals. Would you say that's necessary?
