The RX-7 is timeless. One of the best designs ever. I will never get tired of looking at that car even if it isn’t up to today’s performance standards.
Ford GT is likely the most fun to drive from a driver engagement perspective. Sadly about a second of that 0-60 was trying to keep it from spinning as much. Love to see what it could do with a dialed in launch control but it would also take away from what makes that car the most fun.
Was surprised he didn't try a 2nd gear launch with a bit of clutch slip. It's the only way I can get my big supercharged V8 cars to hook on the regular road surfaces consistently.

I wonder whether the V8 is a quicker one than the I3 which is bound to be 200-300 lbs lighter and able to spin any and all wheels up to and beyond 60 mph thanks to the 800 hp hybrid. I suspect the I3 is quicker, but you couldn't half-arse the first hypercar, I get it... One the standing mile, the V8 may already get the edge, would almost be a waste if it doesn't :)

765LT is way way the best of them all. Despite being only RWD without an electric engine, it keeps up with the SF90 and with the Plaid. And the drag races are not what's this has been built for. On a track it'd be way faster than anything else.
The 765 and SF90 have both only been tested on the same track once. Anglesey Coastal; where the SF90 was over a second quicker. But the SF90 is also faster then the Senna around Mortefontaine and the Autocar Dry Handling track, so there’s no shame at all in recognizing that the 765 is a slower track car than the SF90. Mine did 3.66 bone stock in 2007 after numerous attempts in getting used to it. Those old G'years sure didn't help. With new and correct size Bridgestones, it later went 3.47. Only the FGT and Enzo Ferrari used those tall G'years.

Warm up the tires for 15 minutes, blipping the throttle a billion times to let everyone know the car is a manual and make sure the tune is right for 30 minutes sitting on a laptop? Yeah nah i don't have time for those races. When i'm out in the car, nothing beats me. Not even bikes that try to do ricer fly by's on the highway.

Just to think that the Ford GT is by far the cheapest of the bunch (discounting the very "cool" but 30 yr. old RX7). It'll always be THE icon of the bunch. It wasn't built with the "nannies" of today's supercars. No cup holders, launch control or cruise control. A true to its history and masculine driver's car. It was aimed mostly at collectors and NOT track competitors. As such, by today's standard, it's blower is quite small. Its looks will never grow old. It's truly America;'s only "exotic".

Need to race your SF90 vs a 296GTB I saw the car wow video and the GTB was definitely quicker but not off the line, rolling runs though it was definitely quicker so would like your take on that Brooks as you give us the low down specs 😊🎉😊

@@sigabiz sure, but the whole point was testing them all on the same day. Plaid batteries also degrade over time - stock they trap 150+ but after a few years, most are high 140s.
Would like to see all this done thru the half/full mile for each car. Would be cool to see how one or the other starts pulling ahead . Will the new Reveuelto out run the SF90? Also, you need an old school GNX in your collection:)

I'd take that cool blue Tecnica, put some Michelin Pilot sport tyres & get a VF hypercharger set up & tune. Should go 2.7/8 or may be even less, which is fast enough. Btw, the blue Tecnica & the lemon 765LT look great among all that red... May be a purple car next..?
The SF90 is the fastest but I would say the most complete is the 765LT 765LT is the second fastest car Probably the most fun too For that reason I m taking the 765

Brooks, So happy at your success! Decent time for the stock ‘93 FD. What tires are you running? I had forgotten how sweet they sounded from the factory. I think our modified FDs dyno’ed about the same back then: 379 wheel/450 crank. Best time I ever got on street tires (285/30R18 Bridgestone Potenza S-02 Pole Position on the rear - 265/40 front) as measured by my GTech Pro (remember those?) was 3.2 to 60. No idea if that was 1-foot rollout or not. Wish I still had it up here in the NC/TN mountains…

I live at home at age 40 with no hope of ever moving out due to. Debt to income ratio, single with zero down time to date so yea, the discrepancy between folks like you and most other Americans is quite common. Count your blessings my friend. Why didn't you run the Plaid again? You used an old run of the Plaid, with a new battery on a different day/street.
It’s virtually the same every time. Plaids are extremely consistent.

It’s a 20 year old 255 hp JDM car, so obviously it’s not going to be very fast by today standards
