I agree and definitely have trust issues especially with the health industry. I was diagnosed with crohn's disease in my early thirties and was put on several different types of medicines. Found out I was allergic to sulphur, which was in these medicines I took myself off. At the age of 43 I became pregnant with my third and last son and 4 months after giving birth I had a major flair and four blockages resulting in a bowel reconstruction operation. I was told I would be back within the year because once they start cutting it's just a downhill event from there before I receive a stoma bag and was told medicine was the only bridge between my operation and that stoma bag in order to live a tolerable life. I got home took myself off the medicine started taking control of my diet and the food I put inside my body and it is literally 15 years later without one surgery. I'm not cured I do have flares at times but I am 58 years old and haven't been to a doctor since. I have been blessed by the most high to have the ability to take care of myself this way. This is uncanny. Me too! I was diagnosed at 23 and symptomatic from age 17/19. Alergic to sulfasalazine and pentasa. Overdosed on prednisone to the point of psychosis. A lab rat for Inflixamab... eventually they ran out of drugs to give me (Praise Jesus) and I had surgery in 2009. After surviving that I ended my relationship with the sick care industry and began treating myself. Never looked back. Now! Thanks to Zack's inspiration, I'm uping my game and growing my own medicinals where I can. I still have ostomy supplies... they got me there... but I even have a plan for that! I'm sorry for your long suffering, as I know it well. But I am so grateful to be sharing this journey with someone who has had the same experiences. Thank-you for your comment. ❤️🙏
There are SOOOO many success stories of people with Crohn's who started eating carnivore! Check out Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Kiltz, Dr. Shawn Baker, and others on UA-cam. It could change your life.

@@midwestribeye7820 initially... no onions, no dairy.. they make you bleed. And that includes anything with lactic/lactose anything in it. Even sour cream and onion potato chips. There's no cheat code for bleeding out. Secondary is eating clean... but it really helps. Clean: organic, no preservatives, preferably home grown. I cant afford "grass feed" red meats but I do go to a butcher I trust that can vouch for organic feed beef. We also get venison. No pork without knowing you're probably going to flare up. (Bacon is sometimes worth the risk) But lard is ok... preferable to any seed oils except Olive oil. When not flaring, I introduce a 1/2 tsp per day of some home fermented sauerkraut to rebuild gut health. You might want to cut grains out all together to insure you don't have celiac disease. Here's a thing to know... the illnesses come in groups. I have Crohns, RA, Hidradynitis, some fancy asthma, and some form of nerve inflammation I won't get diagnosed with because I'm done with their tests. It's all a malfunction of TNF-alpha. Things that are easy to eat while in flare would be baby food (not oats), white rice, lots of ginger, I ate almost exclusively Chinese take out when I was flaring because it was one of the only things that didn't make things worse. I think it was because the high ginger, garlic and pepper content in the food. That was before I broke off my relationship with my doctors and pursued natural self-care. Which, unfortunately, was post surgical in my case.

I also have a severe lack of trust also.🤔 In people & gov. Unfortunately, I cannot homestead. I do the best I can in an HOA suburb with a husband who is blind to most of what's going on. I must trust in the Lord to guide ppl like me in this situation. 🙏
Keep doing what you are doing. Things are coming (in our lifetime) that the entire population has not seen, and are not prepared for. Homesteading or not. Spiritually/Mentally is literally the only preparedness you've got.
I'm with you, we have been lied to across the board. I have learned to despise the medical system through the years. I have not been to a dr in years, and unless it is a broken bone or more severe, have no intention of going back.
Nurse here and have worked in several areas in the hospital. I wouldn’t go myself if I can help it. Because of my medical background I can decide what’s worth going for and what’s not. You can fix so many of your health issues on your own. If you are on medication you need to learn what you can do to wean yourself off. Yes there are a few things that you may not be able to but I can tell you that the majority of the meds people Are on are Blood pressure meds. Thyroid meds, diabetic meds, pain meds and psych meds. Most of the time you can fix these aliments, with diet and exercise, and learning coping strategies. About 80% or more of the people in NW Arkansas are on some kind of psych Med. That’s a scary number. There will be a day they will have a hard time getting them.
People teach your children coping skills.
I to have moved out of the city 5 years ago and hate when I have to go back for a day.

I’m right there with you. I don’t trust the medical field anymore. I worked in a hospital for about 16 years and the things I saw we all saw we just shook her heads I believe in holistic growing your own garden being self-sufficient being adaptable keep your mind healthy don’t be close minded to not listen to people, but draw your own conclusions. People have common sense
Yes , no trust in any of the system. Homesteading in North central Arkansas. Food, medicine, guns , kids are all grown but making a place for my kids and grandchildren.
The system the most high set up was the perfect design. We took care of our own families, we grew and raised our own food, and didn't have enough time to compare ourselves with others or get into someone else's business. As a people we are mostly lazy and want things the quick and easy way.But with any decision you make or don't make there is a consequence and we are facing our collective consequences.
They hav given us more than enough reason not to trust.
It's sad that for the last 20+ years I've had ZERO trust in the guberment, medical community & judicial system. That also includes the top brass of our military & I'm an Army brat.
The only LEO agency I have even a small amount of faith in here in Texas are some of our Sheriff's. I fear for my children & grandchildren future's if something doesn't change the morally corrupt direction our guberment has been heading us towards. jmo
Start making a double batch of soup and can the leftovers. You can clean your kitchen or other small tasks while it's in the pressure canner. I know you are very busy but try it on a day when you don't have a ton of stuff to do. I will also can things when the kids are doing their school work and I sit in the kitchen. I can watch them in the dining room doing their work but also watch the canner.
I really need to start doing that. Last night a made a big pot of homemade seafood gumbo. If I had a canner, I'd definitely put a few jars away. I ferment my own foods and make homemade wine from wild grapes.
@@danbarron8072 I leave any noodles or rice out of the soup I can. Then just add them in when I warm the soup up. They turn out too mushy for my liking if I can the soup with them added

Left the public school system 30 years ago when I saw the low expectations, left the medical system 20 years ago when I saw the profits over care, left the food system 20 years ago when my daughter's severe allergies forced me to look at the poor quality of ingredients, left the town 10 years ago when I saw the striking increase in psychotic level craziness...now we raise and process our own meat, garden expands every year, we homeschool, practice with firearms, got off all meds and leave the property only a couple times a week.....no trust is exactly right

I completely agree. I homeschooled mine. I’m a mom of 3 and grandma of 10. I wanted to leave city life over 20 years ago, but I went against my gut and let everyone else over rule my decision. But now, after many years of hospitalization and debt. I’m finally working on that dream of leaving the city life. At the end of this year I’ll be able to look for something to move to. I know I could have just moved anywhere. However honestly I want to move somewhere with at less amount of people as people. Looking for 20 plus acres. I’ve practicing my skills so I can steps closer to being prepared for my new journey. I still doing it alone, but I don’t care. My love for my family is now my strength to move and stay focused. When countries collapse from war or money issues the folks in the country usually do much better. You have to own your place free and clear and keep a few greenbacks to pay the taxes and ride it out. That is my plan. I grow my own fruits and veggies. I need to get some chickens.

Our government scares the hell out of me! I never trusted it but now I fear it.
There are no people who understand fully as much as modern veterans why the US way of life and government is completely unworthy of confidence and trust. Most vets have seen plenty to lose confidence, but those of us who spent some time in military intelligence have seen things that completely dismantle any remaining faith that there is any good in the way we live, govern, feed each other, and interact.
Exactly why my children are not in school or other activities with peers. Most people do no honor or obey YAHUAH. We are teaching our children the ways of YAHUAH. They cannot be unequally yoked in friendships.
We bought our home with some land 7 years ago, at first it was just away from people and a small garden. Then 2020 happened, not only the plandemic I also had a baby (surprise at 41 years old)!! Things ramped up quickly, stocking food, getting hand pumps for the well, expanding the garden every year, more chicken coops, more animals, etc. The last few months something is killing the hell out of my chickens and turkeys!! I lose a bird every few days at this point..... Middle of the day! I'm guessing the birds of prey.... I hatched 9 chicks Saturday and have 19 more eggs in the incubator.... Gotta figure out this predator problem soon!! Ugh ....it is hard, I've been out the door and working since 6:30 this morning, but it's worth it.

12 years ago we moved to our country area and I was as the chain drug store and saw such an anormas amount of prescriptions Andi was thinking that's alot for country area and now there are 2 major chain drug stores,that is not a good thing.

Trust is earned not granted. Back in the day American farmers used DDT for insect control, it was applied to many crops. It was banned in 1972 in America. However it's still legal in other countries. My point is many produce items sold in US grocery stores today comes from countries where DDT is still legal.

I don't trust them either. I have the books and I'm thankful. I got them from you so thank you. I am a;so a patreon member and even though I live in the outskirts of the city I homestead and homeschool. It is so hard to homeschool our Daughter but I do it. I don't believe anything the government says our say their going to do right down to the Dollar and that is why I stack. I understand that no one is coming, you are your only responder. So i'm prepared as best as I can be.

I don't trust someone who says they homestead that relies on power tools... You CAN do it without them, the Amish have done it for generations. For that matter, they build houses such that they can even disassemble them and move them...with no power tools
