I spent thirty dollars getting all the supplies that I needed to do this, and it doesn't even work. The wire keeps bouncing beach, so you can't wrap it, the string of gemstones are floppy at the end, and I am so mad about this!!

Hi regarding the bouncy wire. I think you may have bought beading wire to make necklaces rather than the other one. It will tell you how many mm it is 0.4 and 0.2 mm is quite thin it may say silver plated.😑 Im not an expert. Hope it helps.

Thank you very much! The wires I am using are from this brand www.beadalon.com/artistic_wire/Flat_Artistic_Wire.asp and I buy them from a local craft store. It's a well known worldwide brand for jewelry making supplies. :)

Tamara Smith I saw a tutorial what the lady took a piece of sandpaper to her with and made it flat. Don't know what gauge wire or number sandpaper it took but she did it at the part she needed flat. Hope it helps some!
