Love the game aesthetics. Colorful map board, and BONUS, I can learn geography while playing. 😁 This game looks fun. I like the discussion between players. @38:00 ... TENSE moment! Good job!
A fan of your gameplays. I ordered it right after i watched how to,play intro. And now i think i made a right choice. This is the 6th time you guys made me order games. The first was Thunder Road, next Leviathan, Monster Hunter World, Crossbows and Catapults, Hoplomachus Remastered. And i am pretty sure you guys are going to make me buy a lot more.
@@kalabrockington hah not at all. for one ive never played dominant species but, overly produced games are usually trying to sell you on cute bits and pieces, hefty wooden and plastic pieces instead of great, in-depth game play. Packaging up over the top pieces along with a mediocre game is EASY. Creating an in-depth, game that can stand the test of time is INCREDIBLY difficult. Some of the best games have the most simple components. For example, Hansa Teutonica. Like i said, its a red flag, not a sure indicator that your getting played. For example, Viticulture has excellent components and is also a great game.
@@WhatsDaveUpTo So what I am hearing is that you think deluxe game components is a red flag. A lot of those "overly produced games" do have a base version. I think they do it to make the player more engrossed of the world they're building and the game they're playing. This game for example (which can really go for all games) you can cut out pieces of paper of the appropriate color and have the same effect gameplay wise but won't have the same feeling when it comes to the world you're in. Where I agree is when they make deluxe versions for the sake of it. In ISS Vanguard, they made ship minis for a component that never moves nor does it really have to be on the map because there's a ship icon. (I know the Everdell tree doesn't move, but it serves a purpose.)
Great job! Only one missed rule: when you’re in a city when it’s lost, you must move next movement phase. So it’s not a free and gas-less move. Sorry!
I’m really digging the playthroughs. You two are fun to watch and give a good vibe for the games you play. Thanks for the video! ❤

What a great playthrough!! Congrats on beating the White Hand 😤💪
It was a close one!! Thanks for trusting us with getting the job done
Definitely getting Payday vibes. The video game, not the board game, that is! Great playthrough bros, really like this game. - G
Thanks a lot ❤
No prob!
Looks so fun! Adding it to my wishlist! When you had roles couldn’t you spend your hearts and use them as guns so you could win the battle?
I do believe so yes :)
Out of curiosity how come these are still the Game Haus since I heard that the place closed?
We kept the name as an homage to the cafe. We had so many great memories there we wanted to honor it by keeping the name of the series
Insert Carmen San Diego comment here...
over produced meeples is almost always a red flag on the actual game play.
Lol why? There are tons of amazing games that have great meeples
At this point, @GlickTheExplorer, I think you just want every game to be variations of Dominant Species.
