Spray foam … a mask, crown or skeleton in a can! Such a great medium, and highly versatile in the hands of Allen. Great work and a joy to watch. Note to self… I must make more stuff!
go make stuff!
I just heard and wanted to congratulate you on your new role at Dark Hour. You’re such an asset and blessing to the haunt community. Wishing you all the best, Allen!
Thank you so much!
So well said Allen!
Days are gone of Paper Mache, days are here of Foam Spray!!!
I can’t wait to see what else you come up with, I will always tune in for potential foam masks! I think the possibilities are endless…I still want to create my original idea for a Miami retro skull mask with coloured lensed sunglasses! I see foam spray as the perfect tool! 💀😎
that sounds fun! foam masks are pretty cool, I like it for busts even more I think
I just found this channel, and I've binge watched like 15 of your videos.
I have a small non-profit haunted house, and I've been interested in prop and mask making for so long. I've learned so much from this channel.
Im so glad we were helpful- Happy haunting!
Your ability to create amazing things with spray foam amazes me. Thanks for taking the time to teach and inspire us!❤
the world needs more monsters!
After watching a few of yr (amazing)videos, think you should get a deal with Locktite. Their sales are going to go thru the roof as yr technique goes globally viral !
Amazing skills & creativity. Love yr generousity in sharing❤
If they called Id answer the phone lol.
Oh she looks gorgeous. Love that crown, the skeletal structure of it was so lovely and organic.
@CeriGoff Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Nice! My Napalm Charlie is done. Vietnam Airsoft event this weekend! I could not find the loctite foam. So I started the project with the ace hardware stuff. Finally found the good stuff and can confirm that it’s much better at curing and being manipulated. Thank you! Your the boss! I have about as much art skill as I do singing skills ( not much my wife says). And I think these sappers look damn good! 👍👍👍
very cool, I hope you have an awesome event!
Looks great! Your talent amazes me!
you are so kind, its more practice than talent.
Your technical skills are amazing but your artistic vision is outstanding 😮
Dare I say....it sooo pretty!! I have found that Loctite makes a good glue for itself around the 12 to 15 minute mark. I just pin the pieces with Dollar Tree skewers.
Thanks for the tip!
needs glitter lol.

Im a new subscriber. I horridly enjoy your channel. Thank you for your tutorials. 👋✌️🇨🇦
@hollychester1354 Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Awesome! I love these foam spray tutorials , keep up the good work Mr. Hopps.
Glad you like them!
I do, thank you. I have a question, have you ever made puppets for films or attractions? If so, I would definitely like to see a puppet tutorial in the future.
I can do that, I have made a few puppets, I love them.
Cool, thanks.
This is absolutely gorgeous
thanks, I work out.
I stretch pantyhose over items (to make skins for animatronics) as a release for can foam. The foam/pantyhose peals off like velcro. (Dollar store pantyhose!) edit: oh I was wondering if your actors ever complain that this stuff gets too hot as it is instillation. I guess you could put air holes in the top.
I normally fill them with holes anywhere I can- this not really since so much of the head is exposed
You're a creative madman. Awesome work as always
Im glad you liked the video
Holy mythical mystics seriously wow this definitely tops this one a Mermaid crown 😍👑 this one definitely puts stars to my eyes this is totally epic all the way I absolutely love what you put in to it it's a legendary art masterpiece I also love the skit l from the start and at the end of the video the best Mermaid crown ever the whole make is completly well done and very epic ✨🧜♂️✨
Im glad you like the video, thank you!
@StiltbeastStudios Your very much welcome
The master of creations! Just love your creativity. Ever do an entire mermaid with spray foam?
wow, no I have not that would be a bit more expensive. we actually just made a full latex mermaid mold for latex and foam mermaids, t was a fun project, I will show one on the channel evetually.
This is my number 1 favorite horror prop making channel 🙂
you are so kind!
🙂@@StiltbeastStudios
Absolutely awesome. You never disappoint..... only make me want to buy more foam lmao.
buy all the foam!
I love this one! I feel like there would be moss and barnacles, because everyone has lazy days, even mermaids (and except for Alan).
indeed! I did add a bit of seaweed stuck in the crown
I love these spray foam series. It is novel and feels more obtainable for the average joe.
I woild love to see a pig mask out of loctite foam!
pig mask is on the list!
I just subscribed to your channel. Because of your werewolf video. I really like what you're doing. Thank you for getting my Alexis to set a timer for 3 minutes 😂
sometimes I make interactive videos
Wow!!! Impressed is an understatement.. love it… thanks again for sharing.. I’m hooked, no pun intended merman😂🥰
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hell of a job Mr Allen love it man keep up the amazing work
I love making monsters!
@@StiltbeastStudios I love watching it. Hopefully you saw my last email I sent back to ya about my project 😀
How on earth do you expect me to decide on One project to make for our costumes this year? Goodness! Ps. I’m really happy that you don’t have to interrupt yourself to adjust the camera! 🥰
the channel has made a huge leap as far as production goes, and...make alll the things for your costume!
@@StiltbeastStudios I’ve noticed the production upgrades, Awesome job. I really enjoy watching you work. I’m always inspired, and love your teaching style. Thank you❤️
How that looks amazing
Wow! Very creative. I never get tired of watching the Loctite foam projects. That stuff seems to offer endless potential. Amazing video quality on the outro, too! I know I've asked this before, but of you wouldn't mind, can you please supply a link to the hair extensions? I'm looking for blonde. Everything I see is expensive. Thanks again! 🤘💀
here is where I buy online

Your so talented thank you for sharing with us!
Im glad you like the videos!
Another great video ❤
I made a comment on your last video about using a foam gun and replacement cans.
I dont know how much these guns are where you live but around my way they cost about $20 and the much larger replacement cans are around $6.
Apart from long team cost saving you can adjust the flow from pencil thin to wrist size and as the nozzle seals, there is zero waste.
I have a few, I love them, I just dont use them on camera
I love your humor!
I love your comments!
Always impressive with your work
Thank you very much!
Dude awesome builds. How do you not have a bajillion subs…
Im working on it lol
You are pioneering the use of expanding foam for all of us. It really is incredibly useful, and you've shown us many skills and tips, so us bozos don't mess up! I remember making some foam pumpkins a few years ago, unfortunately I was not aware of the stickiness of said foam, and, well, to cut a long story short, having used my bare hands to 'shape' some of it, and spraying the foam in a rather haphazard, care-free way, I was still picking bits of foam off of my hands and arms several weeks later. I guess it's a mistake you only make once. We have many brands of expanding foam here in the UK, but Loctite is unavailable (for some unknown reason). So I'll try a random brand to see what happens.
yeah Im sorry about that- Im doing a big testing video very soon on all the foams I can get
I love it great job
Love it 😁
Your really good, Awesome job
Thank you! Cheers!
I have NEVER thought of using foam to make things but my gosh - I’m gonna go buy several cans and foam EVERYTHING!! Impressive 🙌🏼 Thank You!!
Well ventillated area and have fun!
Cool! Amazing what you can do with spray foam.
it is , I love that stuff!
Just amazing!! If you are taking suggestions I would like for you to do a mythosaur skull. I recently made the pumpkin from great stuff foam and put it on a scarecrow I think it turned out great, now I have to wait and see if it will hold up to the FL.heat!!
I need to google a mythosaur!
I think perhaps covering the foam in Saran Wrap then wetting the Saran Wrap would save you from having to mess with it. It would also save your form.
I guess, but your sculpting ability would be limited by the cling wrap, you also need to make sure the foam gets enough water to skin. The form has been through much worse I assure you lol.
I'm going to try the loctite foam today, and use a can to practice technique first as you suggested. I'm trying to make a "Darkness" costume from the movie Legend - wish me luck, I'm not sure I'll be able to pull it off!
wow, thats ambitious, you can do it!
That could totally double as Naga cosplay for WoW fans too. Pretty effin sweet!
Totally!
Again awesome work Allen.👍 I'm watching this video then my girlfriend says is that Jeff Goldblum you're looking at ? she says you sound like him .LOL 😄
Ive been called worse.
Lol @ at "hot glue for hair extentions" that would be painful! 😅 Excellent job, as always!
its a real thing, I think they just have to be careful lol.

If you spray it with cold water will it make the skin faster? Like you did on the head form.
water makes it skin faster, temp is not that relevant
Fantastic! My local Lowes is replacing Loctite with G.E. brand. They tell me it's the same. Got me a can of each and going to compare them to see.
Def Not the same lol. But, I hope for some success for you. 🙂
not the same, but Im about to do a bug test of all the foams I can get!
These are pretty awesome. Could you possibly do Chunk from the Goonies?
you mean Sloth? thats a possibility- I will add him to the list.
Yes, that's him. And I love the weeping angels too.
You’re very talented you must have been doing this for a long time. Have you ever tried to make a medusa hat like you just made but I’m gonna do so you know the lady with the snakes coming out of her head I think that would be great.
great idea! I will add that to my list!
I'm so happy you've done two water creates in a row! I still hope you'll do an insectoid if some kind soon.
Also, I'm making a cauldron out of spray foam using the carveable foam pumpkin tutorial and so far I'm pretty happy with it.
very cool, Id love to see your cauldron!
Question! Does the spray foam stick to plastic? I don't have a bust like you have to spray the foam on a head, but I do have a red bald cap head form (used to make bald caps) ... would I be able to replicate this on that type of surface?
yes just wrap the head form in saran wrap.
Could you recommend a some websites or link the hair on your youtube? I am having a hard time.
www.gmbshair.com/sheyanahuhaw2.html
NEW VIDEO!! Hey Allen!!
Hey Melissa!
I've seen you use Plastic wrap on the head form before. (Did you just decide to try something different?) I think it makes release later super easy. 😊 I LOVE your videos!
yup, I tried it without the release or bags, that was a bad idea lol but it worked out.
Such a Manly display of Artsy Fartsy Creativity *gigglesnort. 😁 Awesome as always. Have a spectacular opening night and Season 🙂
thats how I roll!
I'm sorry if this comment is late to the party... But has anyone suggested or tried baby powder? Also a water-based lotion might be a helpful water substitute... Love the videos 🤘🎃
i want to be careful of anything that would make it hard to paint later on- but the powder is a good thing to tryt if Im not using water undneath- I just think I will use water- its what helps it skin and that makes it easier to remove.
Is Loctite the brand you recommend?
yes!
Very cool.
I love it
You do pretty rad work my friend been watching your videos for the last couple of days just subscribed ..How cool would a TarFace mask be or the monster from the movie funhouse cheers
Gunther from Funhouse would be great!
thanks for the sub!
@@StiltbeastStudiosyes Gunther lol
@@StiltbeastStudioswelcome !! thanks for the amazing video’s 👍🏼✌🏼
Really cool
Im glad you liked the video
I love locktite foam. Unfortunately I brought 4 cans for this Halloween season frome Home Depot, and 3 of the cans would not spray anything out. I have never had an issue with the old nozzle design. I am leary of these new can designs.
they will swap them for you, I have had a few bad ones.
Wow!!!!❤
Nice
nice comment.
Have you ever tried foam clay??
I have, I am not a huge fan but its all right- not really durable enough for haunt work
its also like sculpting with peanut butter so I have not aquired a taste for it.
You should do Kylo Rens mask on Star wars
I think thats a better EVA build- since its not organic
I like tour out look on safety gear I feel same way. Prob not the best but for you but o well. Lol
I have a whole video on shop safety if ya want to watch it.
Dig it!
@GregPackard Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Why is this is this called UA-cam Wednesday if it isn’t Wednesday? Is that the day you recorde the process?
its the name of the show, like vitamin water is not full of vitamins or good for you, UA-cam Wednesday comes out each week, sometimes on Wednesday, sometimes not- many people will wait till wednesday to watch it.

Oh, that makes sense.
Can you do a dead body in a bikini from Captors on prime at 1:09:40 Captors version looked like they made the body then added the bikini after.
I have yet to make anything in a pink glittery bikini.
Should have glued a "dinglehopper" for the straight hair..ha ha
great idea!
do ghost Rider
I can give that a shot
I really do hope I get yo see an alien being made soon…
soonish. I made an alien a few years ago, the video is called sticky paper.
@@StiltbeastStudios saw your sticky paper video. Six weeks before opening…
That definitely was interesting. Didn’t expect to see a prop out of paper!
That's what she said 😁 Immaturity here, lol. Anyone else hear it and immediately say it to themselves? I'm surprised he didn't point it out and say something.
Anyways, myself and my 3 year old love your creations. He absolutely is obsessed with how you turn "white fluff" into spooky stuff. 👻
tell the three year old I said Hi!
You want me to send you shells from Hawaii? I got you. 😊😊😊
I really appreciate that, one day I will vay cay there and nab my own!
Elephant man, make a mask
I saw this on the other vid, its on the list.
Is there a video on the mermaid fingers? They look amazing!
I addded them to my amazon store for ya.
