The best part about Unova's Victory Road was the musical buildup going through the Badge Check Gates. Kinda sad they took that out in BW2, but the song itself is still amazing.
See this is why i never sell my Pokemon games. Because later, when all else fails, sit back, relax, and listen to themes from erlier games. BEST. FEELING. EVER.
Reaching the end of your quest in Unova for the first time. A race against time to scale the massive cliffs above and reach N and stop Team Plasma from ripping the last hold we have on our Pokémon partners. No Pokémon game can capture the edgy and time sensitivity feel this game has. It stands alone. Your main goal was to beat Plasma. The Champion for once could wait. And I am so glad this change in form happened. No wonder alot of people attack this game. It was really different, took a lot of risks, made an EPIC generation of Pokémon IMO. And finished in such a unique way. And it showed. As the only main series Pokémon game to receive a direct sequel. And Ghetsis. He was the only Pokémon villain I wasn't bored fighting. An incredibly balanced team and he really made you hate him for mistreating N. In BW2 Crushing him is the ultimate victory.Game Freak. Take your time to remake these games well. Or wrap up the Unova games with a final third game. The original Kyurem dragon is yet to be seen. So why not make Gray?
Yeah Gen 5 is way underrated. Easily my favorite one for all the epic moments. I still remember when I thought I was going to fight all the sages then boom, the gym leaders show up to help you
NotHenryG Definitely, although I was kinda hoping to help them in a triple battle or something. Great moment though. It really showed Unova coming together as a region, and that people aren't so different.
Unova doesn't need remakes, they're perfect as they are. as a Sinnoh enthusiast, I cry for what they did to the remakes. so much potential lost... I don't want Unova remakes, it can only get worse. BW and BW2 are masterpieces
As your enter victory road there's a large gate. They ask to see the trio badge you obtained so long ago. Back when all you had was little oshawott. You continue foward, as they check all your badges. Finally they ask to see the badge you obtained earlier that day. The legend badge. Congratulations trainer! You may continue to victory road the badge checker says. The gate slowly opens. A vast mountain opens up into your vision. They're trainers all up and down the sides. Strong Pokémon everywhere. It's time for the final stretch.
I've always felt that this theme is telling you that you've made it this far, but you have a long ways to go. They way they add in the layers makes it feel like the theme's telling me that every part of my journey was a part of me getting here, but that the hard part is just beginning.
Anthony Humphrey I thought the same! The lead-in for it are like your accomplishments with your team. First, you're nothing, just the wind. Then, you catch another Pokemon and then the snare joins in. You're stronger now. As you go through each gate, you realize how far you've come, and the battles you've fought. Then you're in victory road, with a theme that reflects how you now have a team that is strong, and ready for the future that was nothing but the wind before....
Goldenrod The Smile Dog Exactly! That's exactly how I felt: The song reflects on everything from the past to the future, and tells you that your greatest challenges are yet to come.
Mischievious Jirachi If you've played both the first and second games of Gen 5, it would make more sense. Basically, following up B/W's ending, it continues with the struggle between father and son. And end the end, it shows the father looking back at what he's done, regretting his decision, and wanting to make amends to his son. It's just so sad, yet heartwarming.
Kalos's victory road had the best badge check (those godly stairs!) and lots of little hidden awesome things, but Unova's theme has me won over. Also, the N's Castle ruins (and how you can re-battle him there) is awesome.
I will always probably love Hoenn the most... but the Victory Road in B2/W2 is simply gorgeous as well. A true challenge that took me days to fully observe.
Gen 1 victory road for one very important reason. IT'S EVERYWHERE!! Kanto gym leader, Champion Blue, Team rocket battle theme, trainer red's theme, Aqua/magma grunt theme, RSE elite 4, DPP trainer battle, Cynthia battle, BW trainer battle, subway battle Plazma grunt battle, BW gym battle, N battle ,Reshiram/Zekerom/Normal Kyurem theme, World tournament theme, World tournament final, Team Flare battle... And of course, the fanfare that precedes the title screen for every game till XY.
So, I looove your remixes, they are incredibly amazing Your style is slow and calming, though I'd enjoy it if you tried something a little faster. Guess I'll have to stay with glitchy for that one. But your good for a nice bit of relaxation.
Omg, I'm a huge fan of your reorchestrations, and if you don't mind, could you make one for Meloetta's Relic Song? It's one of my favorite pieces from the Pokemon franchise, and I'm sure I would fall in love with it as I have with your other works~
yo puedo tocar la caja de esa cancion... creo que no es muy dificil pero me gusto mucho esta version si desean podemos remasterizar esa version y tambien hacer la deciding battle pokemon son mi orquesta favorita!!
As for the 5th Gen song. I like it, and I liked the lead up into it in Black/White, but honestly I would've preferred if the song that played was the part from the windy room. It was quiet, but still compelling and would've fit it much better in my opinion.
+OurOhnlyHope To my knowledge, his old work was produced with Garageband's and Logic Pro's default instruments. I believe he also used Apple Jam Packs instruments as well. I think he might use different instruments in this newer remixes.
I really would have to think kanto's victory road is my favorite because I managed to get through it when I was about 7 years old, and it gave me such a huge sense of accomplishment that I had finally gotten through... but Unova's has the best music. And no, I'm not a gen1er
It'd be a toss up between 1, 3, and 6 for me. They all actually sound like they belong in Pokémon games and are perfect for the location. Second gens fits in Pokémon games but it's definitely not the right sound for Victory Road. It's just a common cave theme. Then there's the 4th. Let's just say I would've deleted it from the files if I were working at Game Freak. Meh song, and doesn't belong in Pokémon in the first place.
The best part about Unova's Victory Road was the musical buildup going through the Badge Check Gates. Kinda sad they took that out in BW2, but the song itself is still amazing.
Molly Renata I thought the same
Mountains...
NEED TO THE URGE TO SLIDE DOWN!
Yaasss!! Mountain sliding!!!!!!!
Das how we do it bro.
See this is why i never sell my Pokemon games. Because later, when all else fails, sit back, relax, and listen to themes from erlier games. BEST. FEELING. EVER.

You took the words right out of my mouth. And pasted it on a screen. I could sue you for this.

A gen V enjoyer that's also a StarForce fan? I see you're someone of refined culture as well

black and white actually has the best music of all the games.
I think all the games have great music, each with something different to offer. Personal favorite for me though, RSE
I also think that, as well as B/W2 having what I think is the saddest ending ever. :'(
I prefer hg and ss. Theyre all great though.
+Trey Shyguy How?
Mischievious Jirachi

Perfect for my finals today
Epic tune epic time epic game
Such a great re-orchestration, those bells are perfect...
so beautiful i love you so much for having made my favorite pokemon theme :,)
Kalos's victory road had the best badge check (those godly stairs!) and lots of little hidden awesome things, but Unova's theme has me won over. Also, the N's Castle ruins (and how you can re-battle him there) is awesome.
The first 0:59 seconds i was thinking what is this, and then it sounds good
It definitely gives the stage-before-the-finale vibes. Well done.
This is HappyD's best BW work imo. truly spectacular job
Fantastic. This is really all I listen to on UA-cam, because its so good.
Also if you start this right before the song plays I think it makes the whole arrangement sound even more awesome - Pure Arctic Wind
How do you make bridges like that on youtube? I mean, with the link hidden.
I will always probably love Hoenn the most... but the Victory Road in B2/W2 is simply gorgeous as well. A true challenge that took me days to fully observe.
The Rhydon illustration brings to my mind the Savannah Biome in Blueberry Academy.
Guess where that’s found of all regions?
I like kanto the most because it feels like your heart pumps a lot faster when you reach that victory road
wow!! epic!! amazing!!
awesome
Sinnoh's and BW2 Victory Road are probably my favorites, but BW1 have the best music.
*has, not have. :P
Rando Ster bw1/2 victory road have the same theme
my bad
I really like the gates in Pokemon BW because it's badge represents the type of the gym
Gen 1 victory road for one very important reason.
IT'S EVERYWHERE!!
Kanto gym leader, Champion Blue, Team rocket battle theme, trainer red's theme, Aqua/magma grunt theme, RSE elite 4, DPP trainer battle, Cynthia battle, BW trainer battle, subway battle Plazma grunt battle, BW gym battle, N battle ,Reshiram/Zekerom/Normal Kyurem theme, World tournament theme, World tournament final, Team Flare battle...

I think the reason Gen III's victory road sounds so awesome is because it sounds kind of like a remix of the main theme. It's my favorite =D
So, I looove your remixes, they are incredibly amazing
Your style is slow and calming, though I'd enjoy it if you tried something a little faster.
Guess I'll have to stay with glitchy for that one. But your good for a nice bit of relaxation.
I gotta say Kalos, but mostly because of the epic-as-f*ck way you go into it for the first time.
Omg, I'm a huge fan of your reorchestrations, and if you don't mind, could you make one for Meloetta's Relic Song? It's one of my favorite pieces from the Pokemon franchise, and I'm sure I would fall in love with it as I have with your other works~
The Heartgold Soulsilver Johto Remake. The 8 Gates were really awesome
Black and white 2 I love the N's castle ruins idea
The only Victory Road better than Gen 5 was 6
Hoenn. Gen 3 was the most nostalgic for me.
I am a Dragoknight!!
the one from BW2 was awesome i love the part in the forest there(sry for my bad english)
I need a 1 hour version!
You deserve more views =).
i will success
DRUMS. DRUMS ARE ALSO ESSENCIAL, although nobody cares about them
The Sinnoh Victory Road is my favorite
yo puedo tocar la caja de esa cancion... creo que no es muy dificil pero me gusto mucho esta version si desean podemos remasterizar esa version y tambien hacer la deciding battle pokemon
son mi orquesta favorita!!
Comment Question: Which Victory Road is your favourite?

Kalos. Why? Because it has all the tension, all the awesome, and all the Hydreigon. IN 3D!!!!
Oh. My. Arceus.
Dude, you have to do Route 10.
And in B2W2
I think I like Kalos's one the most in the end.
hi there I was wondering if i could get sheet music for this to play. If so that would be awsome. If not that's ok
Hoenn's victory road, without a doubt. But I still have yet to experience Kalos's victory road :D
Say HappyDragonite, what VSTs and Soundfonts do you use for your strings?
+OurOhnlyHope To my knowledge, his old work was produced with Garageband's and Logic Pro's default instruments. I believe he also used Apple Jam Packs instruments as well. I think he might use different instruments in this newer remixes.

Could you do N's Farewell/Unwavering Emotion? This song is begging to be re-orchestrated!
BW2 because it's got different sections
Hoenn is my personal favorite...
hoenn victory road is awesome. so is kalos though.
It'd be a toss up between 1, 3, and 6 for me. They all actually sound like they belong in Pokémon games and are perfect for the location.

RSE's.
Gen III's Victory Road was my favorite, purely due to nostalgia's sake. It was my first game, after all.
I hate the location of Victory Road in Pokémon. It always made me nervous for every game :P
I think you meant to say Max repels in the description.
God I love this song but I hated Victory Road. Those trainers raped the fuck out of me.
Update: I just replayed the game and it was easy as fuck.
Although I went back to train because I was getting fucked in the ass by Marshal.
how large was his steel beam
-im sorry-
Dr. Bright lmfao don't do this to me
Dr. Bright it was fucking huge
