@@sohailsamson828 Yes and No... The Pa5x does not have an option of step recording, but it has an "Event Edit" screen that you can edit step by step. But it would be very time consuming to do it that way, at least for me. The Chord Sequencer can give you the same results, only faster. The Pa5x does have more options when it comes to Style editing, which gives you a lot of flexibility. And you can import MIDI files also. For me, as a musician, I can write songs so much faster with the Pa5x. Then save them as a new Style or just save the Chord Sequence. And don't forget you have (2) players on the Pa5x, which can play Styles and Mp3s, which adds another element of creativity. Checkout the my "Keyboards Info & Tutorials" playlist. Thx for this vidéo, can you chain like 2 or 3 chords sequences like a meddley without stop betwin them, like a djay set? And when you play your chord sequence, can you change the sounds, like, i want to play the left Bass hand and piano to the upper 1 ? Is it possible or it s complicated to jump in the screens ? Thank you
Hi Jon, If you happen to see this comment. I wonder if you have an idea on how to edit a recorded sequence? Sometimes one hits on the wrong key or the timing is not perfect. Just wanted to avoid recording from scratch. Thank you
Sorry, I have not found any way to edit the Chord Sequence in the Pa5x. You can edit the style step by step when you go to Rec / Style Edit / Menu / Event Edit. The only way to edit your sequence is to do in a software program and then import the midi file to the Pa5x. A trick I learned when recording a Chord sequence is to look at the 4 beat lights and the bar number below to keep you in time. It seems that the beats on the sequence screen are accurate when playing back the sequence but not so accurate when recording.
I really don't know. I had trouble with V1.2 and switched back to V1.1 right after it came out. My Pa5x came with V1.0, and I upgraded to V1.1 right from the start. For what I am doing, V1.1 is working fine, and I really don't want to mess things up. But I am downloading all Versions and have them on my computer just in case.
