I have been a fan of Jun's since I first saw her work, and it was so delightful and fun to get to know her a little better. I bow to her tenacity and skills of doing it ALL by hand! Terrific WW!
Oh and I have made many fun projects from @livingfelt tutorials, and I did the class on the sloth. really well done, easy to follow and the sloth kit had plenty of supplies.
I love that the felting community is worldwide and we can share and come together with different languages. I’ve done crochet tutorials that have been translated into many languages. It’s really very cool. So many wonderful crafters connecting from all over.
Singing Doll: Singing Etta James, At Last... first song came to my mind! If I can make one, it ill be a tribute doll to Etta. I'm so glad I got home to watch this today! (Friday) I absolutely love Jun's dolls and was soooo looking forward to her being here. I am absolutely amazed at the details of their mouths & the cuddle size factor, I thought they were small too. I'd love a singing in the bath one, maybe that will be my first try. Thank you for coming Jun, I'm a huge fan! Thank you Marie for bringing this to us.
I hated missing yesterday's class but I'm here this morning. The dolls are amazing, what wonderful talent Jun has and so inspiring. Thank you for streaming this on UA-cam.
Oh my goodness! What awesome dolls! Thank you Marie and Jun for introducing these to us. I look at the singers and want to open my mouth and sing with them.
I understand why June wanted you to have the dolls in the show, they really are a ball of cuteness. I have been excited watch this episode just to see the besties.
One can't help but giggle seeing Jun's expressive doll faces and I'm excited for her class. Love that she does it all without armature and look forward to learning that wonderful hair texture she achieves and those fabulous open mouths. Glad I have a few months to work on some of the classes I've already started but not finished. What an exciting Wooly Wednesday! Thanks so much for making this happen, Marie! I do love the idea of a hula girl. I can just imagine one in Jun's unique style.
Jun, did you bring ALL your mistakes? Loves you're singing ladies and can't wait for this class to be available... great job Marie for getting Jun to join your family❤️
Oh, I love this. Jun is so sweet and I'm looking forward to seeing her class! I am not experienced enough with dolls to attempt them yet! I would love to see the "Vintage Bathing Beauties" dolls for her next dolls! I think those would be adorable! Thank you, Jun, for bringing your art to us through Living Felt! Thank you, Marie, for another wonderful interview! As I said before, you totally rock these interviews!
What a great Wooly Wednesday! I love Jun's work and can't wait to take her class when available. Thank you, Living Felt for this amazing opportunity!!!!
This was amazing to see - was surprised there was no armature but am so more amazed at Jun's work knowing this. I am in awe of the facial expressions and think her work will be an amazing addition to the school ❤
This was such a fun visit with Jun! My comments weren't working, so I wasn't able to participate. So glad you were able to have her on Wooly Wednesday!
I had to watch the replay - started late. These dolls are so awesome. ‘Singing in the rain’ is my song and I think she should make some showering girls with hair and caps over.
I love Jun's collection of faces that she's made which she considers to be "fails". I am in awe. I need to learn to do a portrait (self-portrait actually) . Will the singing girl class help me with that? Or is she here long enough to do one on felted 3D portraits?:)
Jun-san asked for new doll suggestions during the show. I had an idea that she might like- a Madame Zelda/gypsy/fortune teller. The doll could be looking into a crystal ball with her mouth open at someone's impending outrageous fortune. :-0
This was a great WW - thank you so much for bringing Jun to us! I have a question about the dolls - are they child safe? Could a child play with them like any doll?
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am over the moon to win a Birdie Fun Pack. I was born in the year of the bird (rooster) so it is perfect. I am so excited for Jun-san's class. If the Singing Girls weren't enough, it is a Japanese lesson as well. The biggest question I have is how many suitcases of MC-1 is Jun-san taking back to Japan with her?
Jun's work is amazing!
Song. It’s a wonderful world.
amazing dolls!!!
So adorable
These dolls are simply amazing!!! Wow. What a fun class this will be.
They are so interesting.
I have been a fan of Jun's since I first saw her work, and it was so delightful and fun to get to know her a little better. I bow to her tenacity and skills of doing it ALL by hand! Terrific WW!
Suggestion for future doll ideas... athletic/sports women in action poses :-)... or hungry babies (animal babies and human babies).
The laughing dolls definitely make me smile!
Oh and I have made many fun projects from @livingfelt tutorials, and I did the class on the sloth. really well done, easy to follow and the sloth kit had plenty of supplies.
Hair is always so hard. They are great!!
I love the pajama girl. So fun. Thanks June for sharing your work with us.

Those dolls are beautiful. She is definitely a very talented artist. Any idea what the cost of the class would be?
As there a site for her
Work reminds me of Duane Hanson’s photorealism.
I have always heard them singing “At Lat” by Etta James. ❤️
These are cool
