Wastewater Math Basics: Flow and Velocity (Also Velocity vs Speed!)

Welcome! I am a CA Grade 4 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator and Chief Plant Operator. I also hold a CA D3 Drinking Water Distribution Operator Certificate and a CA T2 Drinking Water Treatment Plant Operator Certificate.
Today we solve for Velocity and Flow. We also discuss the relationship of Velocity with Flow, and I explain why we use Velocity instead of Speed in Wastewater Math. These are basic building blocks for math on all wastewater exams. Since this is a beginner level math lesson, it would relate most to those taking their Grade I, Grade II, or Class C exams.
