- 11,200rpm 13B Peripheral Port RX8 at Phillip Island mixing it with the much lighter 13B Bridgeport RX7s. Great double feature of this RX8 and the RX3 of the same owner coming up this Sunday.

Great driving dude car is great and handles much better than the others. Top speed is def better but looks like they may have you on acceleration but thats probably due to your car weighing slightly more. Overall great job 👍🏽

inside line is blocked by another car, so he focuses on the exit. good driving, i'm impressed. making the right joicecs in fractions of a second.thank you for sharing.

Sounds so similar with a V2/V4 2 stroke bike at high RPM, as well as when he downshifting at High RPM..

Fantastic driving Dave!!! Such a Demon uner brakes and the high speed turb 1 and last turn!!. Loving the rev limit into turn 1, think he needs another gear or a few more teath on his final drive! Aternator light came on second last lap
those first gen RX-7 pretty damn fast on the straight line 2:30

loved it.. a better start would have prevented the mighty RX8 from being held up later on :)
awesome race, looks like the rx8 chassis is about on par with the lighter older cars on the low to medium speed corners but far more superior on the high speed corners. also interesting that he was hitting limiter on the Strait on the first few laps but not after that, Mabey he was backing off just a tad earlier.

ok so remind me on these dogboxes by Holinger. No lift upshifts, & no clutch in? Clutch in is a must for downshifts? What surprised me the most of this video is those fn fast upshifts. lol

Great video! What an engine there! And the gap between gear changes when going up was too small for a manual. Only twin-clutch is better!
It's a Holinger Gear Box. Very much a manual box.. The clutch isn't used on up shifts and the Motec ECU provides an ignition cut so you don't lift when you pull the next gear. Hence the speed of the shift. Very expensive set up but all the quick cars run it now

Anonymous1 I don't hear any turbo ,must be renesis. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I dont know for sure but the before race started sound was much faster and heavier than a 13b. Im guessing its a 20b swap just from how fast the braps are and crazy speed

Nah it's definitely a triple rotor 20b which I believe is from the Cosmos
