One day he knows the older man on the internet and plans to meet him, since he has not been with any man and wants to know how it feels (he is actually looking for love and affection). However, when he arrives to the hotel, he discovers his date is married to a woman, and this disencourages him. However, the older man still "persuades" him to finally "consent", although this is obviously highly debatable. He is not an escort or anything like that, just a first timer looking for some love who finds instead a careless guy who just wants to seduce him.

This was unmitigatedly cringeworthy. From the darkened deserted corridor and the drab hotel room, the creepy horror movie music, to the iron fist in the velvet glove of the older man and the actual cringing of the young man, it gave me the creeps. This is much more like Barton Fink or The Shining than like Call Me By Your Name. “Bizarro”indeed.
