So, this video does mention the basics but it doesn't really show how to play him. There are a lot of things u need to know to play SB to his fullest potential. Like his approach options, when to charge, sometimes you need to keep ur distance, and ect. Especially since a lot of ppl get into the mindset of charging in to get kills then die which is a very dumb way to play. Also getting a turbo kill isn't hard at all. Its actually useful against 100 hp characters after doing a 3 punch combo (ur alternative being kick). There are tech that make him really good as well (and no I'm not just taking about kick speed ghosting) but those are more advanced. No hate towards the video but as the SB main, I just think it could use more info since it really isn't teaching much other than known facts
There is also another variation of a tech for heroic kick for PC users. If you use heroic kick and flick your mouse the direction you'd like to go, you will look like your kicking in one direction when in reality you aren't. Very useful.
@@drybonez6402 Yeah it's useful alright I've escaped my fair share of fights with tech also broke my mouse with it too matter a fact it's as fun as playing battle for neighborville and as good as GW1 Chomp thing
SB is one of the best class with the best stock character, along with sunflower solidier and corn because of just how simple he is and has very good variants and turbo twister is only good for escaping situations because it makes you move faster and gives you armour. I remember not reading any patch notes and going into gw2 and wondering why the turbo twister was suddenly useless
I still think his beam can be useful for finishing off people you don’t want to get close to or people that attempt to get away from you. Chomper for example, can have a hard time against a super brainz that uses his beam to force chomper to move closer or run away.
I find super Brainz to be rather easy to deal with, as you can usually trap them in your spikeweed as they kick towards you, or goop them when they are in front of you, then trap them. You can also swoop in and burrow them when they are attacking your teammates. But, when you have no spikeweed or goop, SB can be quite the menace.
I this video kinda helped me sure they are no important tips and tricks for masters but this guide help me build and understand how to play sb. Thx 2 ur guide I'm a sb main atm
They absolutely murdered turbo twister for no reason. Yeah it was op, but when it did 6 damage it was actually still good and not almost completely useless
You can also do your kick take your finger off your movement stick when you go all the way forward fly up and keep doing that since your movement speed carry’s cause for some reason garden warfare 2 movement is odd
You know, people get all up on Peashooter’s case for being a pain to fight, but I never see that same hatred directed towards Super Brainz. This dude is easily one of the most OBNOXIOUS classes on the Zombie side, and maybe even in the game. Dude has Hyper-tier jumps on demand, map clearing mobility, tanky health, and legitimate damage at any distance. Fighting one is fairly manageable, but fighting a team of these nuts is a nightmare. The Plants are predominantly long-range fighters, so they tend to have trouble with threats that get in their face. And with his godlike mobility, it’s not hard for two or three Supers to spot you from a distance and decide you no longer exist. The only Plants who really stand a chance against Brainz at close range are Chomper, who Super Brainz can easily outmaneuver, and Torchwood, who is probably busy getting picked off by the three Soldiers camping the rooftops. Don’t get me wrong, I think Peashooter spam is obnoxious as well, but I think aggressive Super Brainz spam can be just as bad.
@@BeanTheSmugLad Not only that the armor helps you take less dmg. But it can get rid of certain characters fire dmg, it's also helpful for finishing off 100hp characters after a 3 punch combo, you can also buffer punches as ur about to activate turbo. That works really well with Cozmic if you store the punch in mid air then turbo, the punch will still come out.
The only character i bought was twilight chomper. I didn't have to buy z7 due to owning deluxe edition & i dont plan on buying any other legendary or the gnomus characters
There's a lag or bug where super brains, when he is on the ground and is about to throw the super ultra ball, he can move a little bit instead of being stationary, idk but I think is lag
I feel like sb is really good against cactus because she is quite slow and doesnt have much health which basically means all you need is a super ultra ball and 2 punches to get the kill
@@nickytembo4112 All star and super brainz are both tanky, but their health pools serve different purposes. All star can sponge damage for his allies and put up defensive walls to further help with that fact while also being a suppressive force to the enemy, while super brainz's bulk is mostly for his own benefit, since he needs the health to get in up close and personal. All star is still the definitive tank class regardless since his playstyle and abilities further help with his tanking capabilities, while super brainz needs the higher health to be able to work with his playstyle.
Does anyone have a good idea of how much his overheat upgrade actually extends? Because it seems hardly noticeable vs having more health or better health regen. Edit: Favorite upgrades are by far better health regen, speed, and damage. Only thing I'd use the overheat upgrade for is electro brainz. (I couldn't imagine SB without the speed upgrade, I still feel terribly slow sometimes tho)
It extends its maximum firing duration by half a second. Doesn't sound like much, but given the fact that by default it only lasts for 2 seconds, that extra half a second can help out quite a bit
I'd love to know pop tart's philosophy when "balancing" the beam and Turbo Twister. Let's not nerf one aspect of the ability/weapon and the other things as is (or even buff them as compensation), let's instead nerf all useful aspects of it and expect people to use it in a way that isn't useful.
I really have no clue what they were trying to do with turbo twister. If they wanted it to be a defense ability super brainz already has the best escape option in the game. It’s a lot better then leaving the ability unnerfed tho. Also it makes sense that his beam has insane damage fall off because imagine super brainz had both incredible ranged and melee damage.
@@Flort-ifcations They were trying to turn it into a purely defensive ability, the problem is that for some reason they nerfed the duration in addition to the damage, and also didn’t let players cancel the ability early like before. The beam was never an effective ranged option apart from pre-nerf Electro as well as Cozmic, and even if it did need a nerf, the least they could have done is either nerf either cooling power or damage dropoff, or add in a close range damage buff to compensate.
The beams got gutted at long range because to many super brainz were sitting on roofs sniping. Similar situation to citron's rework. The melee class was not playing melee. They were also nerfed to compensate for the kick/mobility buff. They were designed to not have the beam be the strongest part of their kit. Just a tool to finish off low health targets or peak people around a corner. Their dps was already already very good for a precise accurate beam. And both citrons and super brainz were sniping way to much before hand. Saying other wise just means you weren't paying attention to it or you're on extreme copium.
I believe peashooter is the most brain dead plant class. Well, second, kernel definitely take the cake for handing out skill issues like he’s handing out his divorce papers for show and tell.
