Dude! Killer chops! Ampeg seems to fill the room quite nicely! It is really shame that there ain't that much of solid state heads (the big ones) around here in Finland. Mostly tube heads; Marshalls, Orange and such... most of American brands friggin' expensive.
Idk if it’ll work on the VH150 because of how much gain it’s got on it’s own, but i tend to put a compressor pedal in the loop of my Randall RG3003 if i really want that kind of saturated tube power section kind of tone and not only does it make it easier for me to adjust the EQ on the face knobs of the amp, but it also allows me to get better tones out of pushing the amp with some kind of overdrive to get a very tight, very focused high gain tone without any compromises. I’ve found that Optical Compressors are perfect for getting me into that saturated Tube territory but i’m sure if you mess around with the controls on your compressor pedal you can find a tone that works best for what you’d like to do with it.
I really wish I had one of these. Tone is fucking incredible 🙏
Tone is #1

The tone is great with both OG808 off. So you know a lot of it’s coming from the amp.

The chugs are on fire
I keep my VH140's gain at around 3, and it's just the right amount of distorion. It's insane how much these VH amps have on tap.
Ya the gain is insane
