@@shiroyuki495 I’m actually afraid to watch season 3☹️ I remember watching this beautiful anime way back in college and was waiting for S3 until I suddenly forgot about it then last month I saw them in a list of must watch anime and I remember but seeing bits of bits of it clips I feel like my heart won’t be able to take it cause I love taichi so much😭
I always believed that this ship will be canon. The author highlighted their moments together. And Chihaya really cared more for Taichi than anyone else although she doesn't know and realize what her feelings are.
1:55 This is one of my favorite scenes in the show... because it showed that despite what Taichi thought, Chihaya *was* paying attention to him, a lot more than he would ever realize. Yes, she's a "karuta idiot" and she can be oblivious to those around her, but Chihaya cares a lot about Taichi and in a way that goes beyond her other friendships. And it's not just this moment, but there's been others too. Like wanting to be there for Taichi at tournaments so that whether he won or lost, he wouldn't be alone. Or noticing that he was asleep in the car after the tournament and pulling his head to rest on her shoulder. Or crying during the Valentine's Day episode because of how much fun she's having with her other club members and wants Taichi to experience that same joy. Tbh even though I ship Taichi and Chihaya & wanted them to end up together since the beginning, the series has always done such a phenomenal job of showcasing what a truly beautiful friendship they have. I knew that regardless of what ship sailed, that Taichi and Chihaya's friendship would last no matter what. The love that they have for each other is just too pure and beautiful😭 Also just want to say that this was such a beautifully done AMV!! I love the scenes you picked and the song fits perfectly. I am really glad I came across this after they became canon though; otherwise I think this would've broken my own heart too😆😭
