For IT novices, it takes about the same amount of time to study for the CCST as for CCNA. There are a lot more study materials for the CCNA online (exam dumps) since CCNA has been around for many years. But if you can take the CCST for free and get certified, then do it.
@@KenShermanI don't think he's recommending it, or at least I chose to read it that way. But there are lots of questions for CCNA and N+ out there that can be used for knowledge checks. I used lots of them unknown to me if they were exam questions or not, but when it comes to network it's the same as finding a question 2+2=4 or 1+3=4, same result but different question but the same logic behind.
@@dankdandy For networking certs, I would always take Cisco over Comptia. However, the study materials for A+ is very beneficial for beginners. For Comptia certs, the most useful is their Security+ cert; the Department of Defense requires it if you want to work for them.
@@dankdandy I would not reccommend the CCST over the A+. For your first IT job, which will most likely be some sort of support or help desk job, the A+ is more popular and one of the best entry-level certs.
Currently probably not. I create some labs on packet tracer to help configuration but I don’t see myself teaching the CCNA lesson by lesson since there are a lot of already made CCNA prep. I’m still feeling out what I want to do on this channel.
3:23-3:35 If you haven't taken the CCENT then how do you know CCST is easier than its predecessor? I wish you success on taking your CCNA, and the fruits of your labor on your conference and events and congratulations on passing your Certiport exams.👏🏽
Hi, thank you so much for all the information. my exam is in two days and I was wondering if its all multiple choices questions or if there're questions that need writing and describing. your answer would be very helpful
How are you not familiar with the format of the exam that you are taking in 2 days? Did you use Netacad as a study guide? It has sample test questions.
@@Jamesytech22 very nice Jamesy ..once again thank you ...I will do my best to support your channel as best I can to show my appreciation 🙏..you've been very helpful I must say ..One Love !

Exam dumps are not recommended.

Pretty much depends on where in the world are you, if you are in usa there is an option to take the test online but you have to pay like $35 more

This seems like CCT 100-490 Routing and Switching, but actually asks you to know routing and switching.
Congrats
Where can I get practice tests?
@@Jamesytech22 OK thanks ..your reply was greatly appreciated!
Any exam dumps for this please?
Typical Indian. Wanting to cheat even on entry level exams.
Can i get the certificate for free?
Net+ is comparable to the CCNA? lol
Comptia Network + is a very open exam compared to the CCNA very different but the CCNA is a way better cert and holds more respect.
