Really enjoying all your video’s loving the Eaton terminator stuff. Just bought my 2nd terminator 2 weeks ago to stay irs,6 speed, blower car got the itch from watching your videos keep it coming
This was an awesome video. Love seeing all the ways and theories to squeeze more from the Eaton. Hope you guys do more with this. As far as adding nitrous I’d say no. I’d just like to see what it can do just on the blower alone
@@MustangLifestyleTV Maybe sometime. For now the power level exceeded what I was expecting and once the new pumps are in I don’t really see the new to change anything else. I want a car to drive and enjoy and not always fuck with it like the last one. Plus we only have 6 months of decent weather and the other 6 is too cold to mess with it in the garage
He is right. I have seen some Eaton cars lose power when adding aftermarket cams. I believe thats what happened to Jordan Millers Cobra, he lost power with Comp Cams and thats why he made the swap to a 2.3 Whipple. Definitely some interesting research.
It's because the blower itself is the restriction...the cams gain power up top and lose it down low and up top is where the little Eaton can't keep up so it makes sense. It's similar to when guys would put a big cam and heads on a gt40 stock bottom 302 then saying damn it's not making much power to have such a big cam. It's because of the intake choking the combo off. This is no different.
I have some interesting theories that came to light when talking to an engine builder about my combo and why some cobras make more power than others for no explanation other than because reasons…. But there could be some good reasons for this. It’s something I’m going to cover in awhile
I’m pretty sure your supposedly to take the pulley off the billetflow hun before trying to press it off right? That’s why it bent and crushed the pulley.
@@MustangLifestyleTV The Metco pulley tool includes a smaller horseshoe intended to remove a pulley hub by itself. This small horseshoe attaches to the main horsehoe using the provided small hex bolts.
The stock intake with the k&n fpik kit works the best over that jlt , i use to have that jlt and I picked up 10-15hp over that jlt plus the stock tube is bigger

Back in the day I made 550rwhp/550rwtq on an ancient stage 2 steggy. 2.8/4lb combo. Full Mac exhaust. E85 21deg timing. That was fun and reliable. What is the plug gap? you can hear the blower nose over on all the pulls minus the one where you slowed it down. I'd bet belt slip still. Hog out the inlet more than anything. Posi had some great posts on SVTP back in the day about it.
Similar numbers to what this did before - 538 / 590rwt. Plug gap is .026. The lay over up top is the soft limiter starting. We are definitely going to experiment more. Going to see how my cobra responds with built motor and cams with similar blower and pulley combo
Love ya passion for mustangs awesome vids as always!!!! wish I could come out there for car meet unfortunately waiting on transmission for my 13 second gear gone might say F it an pull up that’ll b my bday present to kick it with da crew.. may 25
Love the eaton testing!! Makes me want to pull my pile out of the garage lol. I'm genuinely curious about the mystery power drop. The shape of It reminds me of some old oil pump cavitation vs flow graphs and how the GPM of oil flow would start to trend downwards with cavitation. This same thing happens in diesel HPFP systems when the HP-fuel pumps inlet starts to become a restriction, and the flow trends down in a very similar shape and manner... I'd be curious what the lb/min of airflow is doing when this happens, like does it happen at a specific lb/min and just kinda sit there.. Either way put some nitrous on it!!
Is there a reason that you guys just don’t put a whipple on it or are y’all just trying to get all the information out on the Eaton setup. I love this content guys.
It was sweet when billet flow was open they were rite down the street from me

Well cool thing about nitrous and standalone is it can be switched on and off in a second. We need to get you off that stock ecu non sense

I would've loved to see water injection.

Whipple 2.3 is a stout little blower and a terrific upgrade from the Eaton setup. 600whp is easily attainable.
I’m pretty sure your supposedly to take the pulley off the billetflow hun before trying to press it off right? That’s why it bent and crushed the pulley.
Nothing to grab without the pulley

just get a metco aux idler pulley, it fixes the belt slip

We ran it open throttle body and saw zero difference.
Need to get some concrete laid down around your shop brotha.
Some big changes coming soon

Termi content going hard!
Oh yeah
Loving the Terminator content!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Did you guys notice on the first pull that flames shot from the tips? Cool! Love the Terminator content. 👍
Spray it! The nitrous will be so much fun.
The wheels with the red are nice combo
In for track videos!
Getting 600 out of a ported Eaton is going to be very hard
The initial Dyno number of 500. Can you tell us the exact setup on it?
2.76 upper 4lb lower - steggy ported Eaton, fuel system - e85, stock elbow and tb, ms3 tuned by me. Stock manifolds with x pipe
@@MustangLifestyleTV ever get numbers on 93 with that setup?
Spray it at throttle body 100 shot
What wheels are those

Would you do remote tuning?
Yes
Gen 3r max effort kit and a fuel system and exhaust what numbers would you make
What rims are those ?

the caption says *eaton* they’re trying to see why the power dies down on a stock blower, what can they max it out at… etc no whipple
Cody and I both have big hp cars. We are having fun optimizing this ancient setup. Finding the quirks and having fun.
Jokerz ported blower, elbow and throttle body, 98 cobra intake cams with a 50 dry shot. Letter rip tater chip!
Spray it. Spray it all
Very cool content, simple dyno fixes aren't in the cards for these Cobras, Cody has a very great looking
Cobra, super clean.
I have a 2.9 in my garage lol
love the Terminator content!
nice car man good job
I loved this!
Dang what wheels are those I been thinking going white wheels for my 99 gt that’s red fire but those would look good too
XXR wheels

Heat the hub (only) up with a torch and start pulling on it. It'll come out. You're the boss not it, now go get er boys.
I had to cut my hub off! That tool just doesn't cut it... it's very frustrating!
Isn't there anything that you can do to increase belt tension without changing the blower or lower or upper pulleys?
You know gas is shit theas day's pump gas not e but gas back in the day had more good shit in it
Not 26 degrees good lol
Do you ever do Kenne Bell swaps?
“Bud”??? Dont call him that
