Lol my mom actually told me that she learned English from soap operas back when I was in kindergarten.😂😂 I figured out in my mid-twenties that's not the reason she watched it I had to travel 22 hours on Asia airlines to Korea, that did not include the trip from the East Coast to California. It had to be all together about 32 hours including layovers The only English I knew growing up was hello, daddy, chicken and kitchen and I was convinced that the last two were exactly the same thing😂
The grandparents AC one was so relatable… My grandmother wanted to save the money so bad she kept everyone from turning on the AC even in the summer of China, in the hottest and most humid days. It was unbearable, but she just wanted to save that money. It’s not like we are in debt or starving or something. Like what’s the point of having an AC if you’re not gonna use it 💀
