I feel like I have to point this out. I am normally not one to stir the pot, except this kind of actually bothers me for whatever reason. I completely understand that youtubers do sponsorship videos, and not just that, but I understand why they do them. It's like a little boost. Both for the company, and the youtuber, financially. I get it, ok? 🙌🏻 The problem I have, is when almost every UA-cam video is a sponsored video, because I then feel like the only reason they made it was for the company, rather than the viewers. Companies target youtubers, they are such an easy source of potential revenue. They have the platform, the viewers and a potential to give the company some growth. But what about us? Do our requests not matter anymore because what we requested doesn't go with the sponsored video for the day? Ugh. The youtuber had to focus on making the video very put together, and put most of the concentration on the sponsored part, therefore almost neglecting the rest of the video. Not to mention, that I have tried some of the sponsored products. One of my friends had a lull mattress and I honestly did not find it comfortable in the least. I wouldn't ever purchase it myself, but to all youtubers? It's incredible. Not saying they don't genuinely like it, but sponsorships are such a wishywashy thing. You never know if they are telling their most genuine opinion. Thus, leading us astray, in turn, making them a lot of money. So, basically my point is, do a sponsored video here and there, and I'll understand. But do one so frequently you start to wonder if they care about their viewers? I've got a problem with that. And please Sammy, and other youtubers, do not take this comment personally. This is not an attack, it is an opinion. I know you're a genuine and beautiful person inside and out, and I don't want to take away from that.

I agree. It goes against the whole definition of a routine. A routine isn't what someone recommends, it's what they use/ do ROUTINELY! I don't really have an issue with Sammy's video though because she's just featuring the mask, but her skincare part was actually genuine.

If you dislike the sponsored component of a video, you as a viewer can skip the video or part of it. Sammy has given quite a detailed night time routine and I personally think that thirty seconds of promotion does not give viewers the right to discriminate against youtubers who are supporting and promoting a product.

I have the same problem where my eyes hurt when I stare at a computer screen too long! I'm in university so I live out of my laptop and I suggest you buy a pair of computer glasses that will block out the blue light so that you won't get headaches from editing for hours and damage your eyes... mine are from Pixel eyewear they're pretty sweet :)
