Hi Natasha. I don't eat meat often.Do Georgian people have salad in restaurants? Lettuce, cucumber, tomato, radishes, celery, cress, beetroot? I don't like everything smothered in mayonnaise. I hope the Georgian people retain their culture. Good luck to you as a Russian . Tough going sometimes I expect. Where do you want to go? Good luck.😊
I remember when i was only one of a thousand followers of this channel. I’m so happy to see your success coming from your hard work. You’re great, keep up the great reporting, Natasha!

what parts of her talk is "brave" or "intelligent" exactly? Any details you can provide to back up such claims? I wish her all the best, but what I see is she's confused about her self-identity and person, she's even confused to which country she belongs, she's also confused about her sexuality. This is not brave, nor intelligent, it is mental and I don't say it with bad feelings or intentions, but it is what it is.
Hello, good to see you back on UA-cam, wonderful representation and narration of your experience in Georgia. I was not bored Listening and watching you, Great job.❤❤
Natasha❣️ As an older fellow woman I have to “scold”you, because I recognize the same mistake I made in my younger years. You definitely underestimate your skills!!! You speak as if you felt useless😮 You have a successful UA-cam channel and produce interesting and meaningful content- this is no small thing and many people with marketing degree couldn’t succeed in that!!! This is definitely a strong point on your resume. Your English is also great! Please don’t think of your achievements so small. Also, I was very happy to hear you think of visiting Poland where I originally am from. If you make it to the EU you will definitely see many opportunities for yourself. Have you thought about eg. starting with applying for an internship in media houses - I really think your UA-cam channel gives you an edge over people studying journalism and maybe you can combine that with getting additional degree- it is common in Germany where I live now that people first start some jobs to try out different things and then study for 2 years for such additional diploma (can be combined with work). But first and foremost please don’t think so low of your skills and yourself.
Excellent advice. I'd suggest sending your CV to The Economist and checking the magazine which sometimes offers traineeships. Be kind and fair to yourself, Natasha.
I agree! You are exceptional and your English is perfect. All you need is to remind yourself that you CAN do difficult things. Don’t hold yourself back. ❤
Martha, as an older fellow human I'd suggest you think twice before you write anything that requires brain..... I won't tell you that you are doing mistakes the young people do, cause you are not young. Just not smart. Natasha is a nothing. A total zero of life, from a troubled russian society. A useless individual that tells absolutely nothing important and explains nothing to anyone. Example: the "russian law" of Georgia.... A law that ANYONE willing to read a few more articles outside of their woke bubble, will immediately find out that comes from America, that established that law first, years before Russia (for obvious security reasons) and enforces it on everyone in its territory right this very moment we are talking!!! But it is a "russian law" for the rest of the planet.... People who want to be human behave in a different way Martha. They become useful. They work. Or study and work. Or study in order to find themselves somewhere one day, so they can be useful. They do not stay youtubers. Because making money (that is the only thing YT offers to society, besides brainwashing) is not the ultimate goal for them. And let's be honest: all these "influencers", it is money they look to get. Maybe fame some of them. But "dollari" (imagine it with romanian accent and clinging coins noise in the background) is the only thing they dream of. Nothing good for anybody else. So, in a society full of homeless, drug addicts, orphans, sick people, destitute elderly and people losing everything to the banks, Natasha has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to give. To the real people that need help. And that is ok. It is normal: She is NOT here to help anybody!! Just "blah blah blah" in front of a camera and.... voila!!! here is some YT money for you!!! And to finish, let me just erase what both of you think: Do NOT kid yourselves that Natasha is doing anything, or managed to have "a successful YT channel". Nobody did anything. Example: I started a small YT channel with russian video clips for the war, for fun, to see what will happen. Do you know what happened? I got "shadow banned" me the first day!!! Not the second, or the third. No, no. THE VERY FIRST DAY dear Martha...... My first video got very popular and started getting massive views. Suddenly it stopped.... Next day nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. I only got my own views... I laugh because I couldn't care less. I am not a YTer. But I tell you this, my fellow challenged human, just to introduce you to the notion of ALGORITHM !!! Yes, that is what makes (or breaks) Natasha in a second. Not her talent, or her beauty (figuratively speaking...). YT algorithm favors russian traitors. YT wants to show that "here, even the Russians know we are right!!". As soon as our dear Natasha changes her mind about the LGBTQ issues, or climate, or Ukraine, or Putin...... If she changes her opinion and decides to step outside of the goat herd, or (God forbid!!!😂) voice her opposition..... Yeah.... She will disappear into the darkness where she came from, never to be seen again. Her "not a small thing" carrier will evaporate into the thin air..... And yes, the marketing degree people may not have a channel like hers. But after all finishes, they still have their degree. So, Martha. Use your brain before you speak. As a fellow human, have a nice day in Germany.
These exploration videos are my favorite of yours. You seem like you are in a good place mentally. Sometimes slowing down and appreciating what you have is the best thing to do. Good for you, Natasha!
Hi Natasha. Creepy boomer here (lol). Followed you for the past three years or so, and I think you’d make a brilliant reporter or foreign correspondent… just my opinion, but maybe worth bearing in mind. You have really good analytical and communication skills that many news outlets and current affairs channels and organisations may find indispensable.
As a native Georgian, it's no surprise that there are some reservations from Georgian people towards Russians, given the ongoing conflicts and multiple wars from the 1800s up until 2024. Also, 25% of Georgia’s territory is not just colonised, but occupied by Russia, and there is a massive difference between those two terms. At the same time, I don’t see many Russians trying to integrate when they come to Georgia. As you mentioned, Georgian is the least used of the four languages you speak. Learning the local language is a way of showing appreciation and respect to the people of Georgia. It would be nice to see more effort from Russian visitors to learn at least some basic Georgian.
NFKRZ and yourself have put the country of Georgia on my map! Im now interested in visiting Georgia for a while, in my escapist fantasy of touring all around Europe (which I will probably never get to do, because I am too poor😂) so I appreciate you sharing your experience with us. It is a shame that the times are tough, and that you didn't get to experience Georgia without all the political tensions. I'm glad that you acknowledge the situation, rather than just lashing out at the country and people of Georgia. That shows your intelligence, compassion and maturity that a lot of people lack - even people several decades older than yourself. I fully believe that there is a world where Russia and Georgia are friends, AND Georgia is still its full sovereign borders with its own rights to self determination as a nation. All that was ever needed from the Russian government, was a long-term genuine respect and good-faith effort in diplomacy. Unfortunately the Russian government just can't seem understand this. Instead they would rather trample over every nation and people's that it comes into contact with, both within and outside its borders. One day we'll see Russia embrace its full potential as a diplomatic and widely respected nation, but clearly not anytime soon.
Yeah I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Russia to become diplomatic at least for the next 20 years while Putin is in power. That is more than enough time to start new wars that would endanger its neighbors and especially us Georgians. That's why our government is being very careful while still aiming to become an EU member. We aren't part of any alliance that would guarantee our security. I'm disappointed that Natasha doesn't get that, but I understand where she's coming from.
The West is largely a maritime conglomeration. Its access to Georgia via the Bosphorus Strait is governed by the Montreux Convention with Türkiye holding the key and lock 🔐.
as a local, I dont always like my country to be represented as a hospitable, people pleaser. what you see today in Georgia is a scriptwritting of past century and soviet regime. If you trully want to know how we are as a people, you should get into history, and even without knowing history, what you can say is we are fighters, we are ancient people, feminism was born here, it was a woman in 4th century that changed whole religion of Georgian people, it was Queen Tamar who ruled as a king, people during 12th century lready knew and accepted equality, it was a poet Shota Rustaveli who wrote: ლეკვი ლომისა სწორია, ძუ იყოს თუნდა ხვადია" Lion cubs are equal, be they male or female. Even before that, we had Medea, after whom the word medicine is derived. Soviet times stole ourr history, made us look like weak, people pleasers, who will bend their head to anyone. They fed us a story that has never been ours. You already see young Georgian, free girls and boys, who reclaim back their power, who fight as wolves, after which our land is named. We are the wolf people of the ancient roots. that's how we want to be represented.
@@suportbghelp4938 yet we existed before Jesus, and this is not a narcissistic comment, but a fact often ignored. She mentions so briefly that there might have been wars here because we have so many fortresses🙄 girl are you for real? this country has been fighting for its existence since it was created.. like as you are staying here for so long, why don't you have a little look at the history of this country that provided you with a shelter and permitted you with a residence. Since Natasha came here she has been only focusing on how this country treats her, how people treat her.. why just not be grateful, so many countries restricted entry of any Russian citizen since they started war in Ukraine. and they might be right because Russia is your country, you don't like something happening there, fix it. Anyways, this Country gave you so much, yet you sit here judgingly discussing if and why we are Rusophobic - What we feel towards you is not disgust but caution, driven by so many memories for so many centuries, phobia is fear, are you surprized that we fear people from a country that took away our freedom for the past 4 centuries? Do you know what your fellow citizens did here in 2008 and 1992 when they occupied us - they have been cutting heads of our people and playing football with it, in 2008, Russian soldiers stole toilets from Samachablo 🙄 they made mothers eat their sons eyes and by no means Im exaggerating. Your people brought terror to us, why not be humble and little ashamed what you have done to us. Yet we permit you to be free and enjoy what you're doing. and Yes, don't sing any Russian songs in our cafes and restaurants, we don't want to hear that language. I have Russian friends, who unlike you are respectful,.
@suportbghelp4938 Jesus is for the backward people. All religions are man-made and Russian is made by dictators and despots that ruled so-called russky empire
@nina27707 I agree with you reading Russian history, but Natasha told that they mean russkue vekikiye(BS) and she doesn't believe all the russkue say about themselves.
I always enjoy getting updates from you, Natasha, as I have been following you since you started your channel. You were the first Russian vlogger I followed, and since then I now follow eight other Russian vloggers, most who have left Russia. I really like all you guys! If all Russians were like you guys, it would be a different Russia. There would be peace! Friendship! I sympathize with your predicament. When I was your age, I was confused about many things such as what career I should choose, where I should live, and what I believe. Many of us are raised in certain religions, which we later leave. Even so, as a deist, I still believe in God. I think you will eventually figure things out. In any event, I hope you can visit the United States again. There have been a huge amount of immigrants from Russia and Eastern Europe that settled in western Pennsylvania, which is where I grew up and reside. The parents of one of my history teachers in high school were from Russia.
Same thing for me. I was one of the first 500 subscribers and I am also from Western PA. And Yeah Russia was the first Russian UA-cam channel that I subscribed to. Small world!
So glad that you are excited to travel to other European countries as well as continue to make videos! Loved how you tied up the end of your video with the idiom "Every cloud has a silver lining" with the perfect sky to match. Classic Natasha! 😊
Hi Natasha, as many others said already: you are more intelligent, bright, analytical and perceptive than you think. Everyone will feel stupid sometimes because other people seem to know things you don't, but you will know a lot of things others do not know. Don't think you need a degree or need to know a skill before you start any job or undertaking. You are eager to learn and explore new things. That in itself is more valuable than knowing anything already. In my experience you learn so much by just doing things. In the first year of a job you can learn more than a few years in university. If you set your mind to something, maybe even something you didn't even know you would find fun or interesting, you will find you can do anything, and will learn what you need to know on the way there. Make sure to just try things. Don't be afraid to fail, or maybe you just find you don't like it, and then try something else. That is not time wasted, that is just time you needed to learn what you want. And it helps to build a network of people you know, so you can ask for help or directions, on to the next thing you want or might need. As for what makes you special; you have a way with words, keeping people enthralled by anything from complex to mundane topics, that is quite special. And you have an eye for finding beauty where others might not, judging by the things you captured on camera that others would've just walked by, either by a quick turn of the camera on a whim of curiosity or even seeking out a place like a car graveyard or abandoned building. There is a curious creative artist in there as well.
Hi Natasha, you do not give yourself enough credit. Your English is pretty much perfect and you have great presentation and journalistic skills. Your UA-cam videos are always an easy and interesting watch. You should have no fears for the future.
Don't listen to people who tell you what they think you should be doing or worry about what you think you should be doing compared to others. Just do what you enjoy doing and what makes you happy. That is secret to a life well lived.
Hi, Natasha. We have here in Poland the same thing. "Gość w dom, bóg w dom". Which means, if there is a guest in the house, the god is also there. It's somewhat nice. Even being an atheist i still feel that it's a proper way to treat foreigners and im proud of it. We are always open to new people in a genuine way. Yet...it didn't help with violence in our own families. I expierienced more of the latter unfortunately.
You are doing a lot to make Georgian culture and its towns known to people in the West. I hope you are supporting their fantastic football (soccer) team in Euros 2024. 🙂
Agree 100% with the positive comments. Natasha's films show or have shown parts of Russia and now Georgia to an audience who would otherwise never see these places or hear about the food, the beautiful buildings and the ugly buildings, the culture, history, etc. We could read some of this in books but Natasha gives the stories a life they might not have as print on a page. Good to see her in the sun, hopefully absorbing as much Vitamin D as possible. This channel is one of the best on YT.
I love how you have grown into your voice. You are so well spoken and then you’re calm demeanor is accentuated by whatever you are passionate about. Continue to be tenacious!! 😘
You aren't"useless", you're a very intelligent young woman , you speak English well, you have a talent for communicating and making videos and reports. Your videos are always interesting, even when you deal with complicated topics you always manage to communicate clearly and directly and always maintaining that irony that makes you stand out and gives you uniqueness. Always a pleasure to follow you👍
I imagine being a political exile must be very, very difficult, particularly given the barriers in the West against Russian people. I'm sure I would feel very lonely, depressed, and useless as a person. Very, very few of us are true rolling stones, content to live without roots and connections. I do hope that eventually you will find a home for yourself in a country you can come to truly love and grow roots. I am very, very privileged to live a safe and happy life as a Canadian, and I wish the same for you. Your videos are wonderfully honest and authentic, and I enjoy watching them.
You are not useless at all: You are a journalist; a sociologist; an advocate; a politician; a documentary producer; a travel writer; an innate communications expert; an entrepreneur; a teacher - not bad for a young woman. You should go to university though; give some thought to Utrecht, which teaches courses in English and is well respected.
It's a good thing that she's "useless" to the Russian invasion force in Ukraine, though. She's actually much more valuable doing other things than being fed to the meat grinder in Ukraine.
Hello Natasha! I think you are going through a lot. War and economic crisis is hard. Is not something personal (that you lack of something) is that you are going through a hard time. At such overwelming times, is difficult to have the air and energy that one needs to continue discovering oneself. A lot of russians are coming to Argentina and are happy here! I'm sure you will find your way.
34:15 that golden cloud looks amazing! Feeling like you can't do anything and not knowing what you might want to do is normal at your age, don't stress about it. You are a resourceful young woman and you will find your way.
From Portugal here. You're welcome if you come over. We're a very cosmopolitan nation, good weather and friendly people. With your English you will not have any problems.
Yea!!!!! Love when you upload!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have followed you for years now, and it's always great when I see a new video, as much as you're hard on yourself, I think you're brave and amazing, I barely knew Georgia existed before and now I feel like I know so much about it. I am excited to see what you do next.
Your story about the georgian doctor speaking to you in russian reminded me that, I've had my shoulder relocated in france 3 times, and each time the medical staff wanted to talk to me in english, even though I was capable of conversing in french (albeit not as good as their english). The french are often known to hate speaking english in their own country, but if you just make some effort to charm them, it's amazing how much english they know. People are people at the end of the day. We all have a lot more in common than some would like to admit.
I say this Natasha, I miss your old videos of you just walking about the village, exploring innocently whatever it is that you see. I have no idea is that's something possible in the place you are existing now, however, I do feel that it's a component that has changed the complexion of your channel. I still watch though. :-)
I think the "age of innocence" for Natasha and Zack have come & gone. Both have vids pre 2022 of just walking & exploring their villages, the US town & university (for Zack), etc. However, after the events of 2022, there's no turning back for either of them. Both of them have openly stated anti-Z views, which would make them persona non grata in their motherland. Zack is now studying for a bachelor's degree in the US. Natasha is in Georgia. Dari Step is also in the US, studying for an MBA degree, but she regularly visits Russia and prefers to be non political in her vlogs (I respect her views, since she wants to be able to still visit family in Russia).
I love seeing a new video pop up, always interesting and you are knowledgeable, I can assure you, you are very welcome in the UK. Always take care and be safe ❤❤
Hi Natasha, Wow. You covered a lot of topics. So nice to hear that you have become involved with human rights. It seems like humanity, language, travel and UA-caming your experience in each is your passion currently. I pray that God would guide and keep you in your many decisions. "Every cloud has a silver lining." Safe travels and best wishes wherever you may travel. 🙏
I hope you find your best place. It is hard and we love to hear from you. I see Dari went back to visit family and is having difficulties getting her passport back. So avoid Russia at all costs. You have studied German, so that might be a good move and Portugal sounds good as well. Use your excellent English. We love the channel and feel your pain. Don’t worry, no one understands academia, not even the academics. Thanks for the video and keep safe. Congratulations on the silver lining.
I really enjoyed this video. You really showed what a thoughtful and intelligent person you are in this video. You always do, but particularly in this one you did impress me with your thoughts. Thanks for the videos
Great sharing Natasha! It is always a pleasure to watch your videos and this one is really nice as it allows us to know you better. You are a wonderful person! Come to Italy!! Thanks a lot and take care💕
Very insightful video. It was interesting to hear your thoughts about some controversial issues and your experience living in Georgia. The fact that you face less negativity than some other expats from Russia, may have something to do with your personality and respect you show that others might not. As the saying goes, you get what you give (and vice versus) 😊 I can volunteer as a Georgian friend :))
My take on academic education as a requisite for a job: you definitely need a bachelor degree, but which one is not that important, unless you have a very specific job in mind. Choose something in natural sciences, humanities or arts (probably the latter two) and take it from there. If you want to continue to study in a certain field or struggle to get a very specific job, do a masters in that domain. If you're not sure which EU country might be right for you, do a road/rail trip if you can get a Schengen visa. For young people, there is Interrail, which allows you to travel by train for some months for a couple of hundred Euros (better check that, my experience with it is rather dated). In any relevant city, there are rather cheap hostels. As for destinations, I'd recommend any country bordering the Baltic Sea, plus Norway and the Netherlands in summer, closing with Athens in autumn. Context: German IT preofessional
Great video. Your confidence in speaking is hundreds of percent better. All your negative feelings are so much of what everyone feels daily. Patience little bird. Life is a long journey, not a race.
The part about you not understanding business etc. is interesting. I am older. I look at people now when I hear that I think ‘confusion is a choice.’ Your ‘confusion’ is your inability to focus on something that doesn’t interest you. That is natural. Why say ‘confused’? Then you are disrespecting your own intelligence. You clearly can do what catches your attention. Go with that. That is your mind-body reaction to trying something that is not a fit. The stress of ‘confusion.’ Don’t cultivate a neurotic self viewpoint. You are a high-feeling person. That is a wonderful quality and much needed in this world. It is NOT Marketing and Finance. Sooner you can learn to listen to yourself and not judge, the farther you can go. And DO listen to the fomo. Life is short and so is youth and health. Heed that call. But be who you are.
I have said it once and I will say it a thousand times more, I love when you say "pakka - pakka" at the end of your videos! When I was your age I always felt such pressure that I was wasting my time, and that I needed to hurry up and do something, yet I didnt know what I was supposed to do. Dont worry, I think all young people feel this way. I had a friend from college (here in US) who moved to Moscow years ago and works for a bank translating documents from english to russian. I think you will always be able to make a living as a translator. Your understanding of languages is impressive. Pakka-pakka!
Hi Natasha hope you are okay another great informative video, I think you are so brave doing these videos on your own, I can't help feeling worried for you, I've been with you from the beginning and feel for your safety like a brotherly love in a way ❤so take care see you soon 😊❤
Stop by Serbia if you get the chance one of these days. Things are far from perfect here but we have a pretty big Russian diaspora and life is pretty good overall.
Hey, I saw loads of shitty comments here and I know you dont need to hear this, but keep being strong! You are able to get successfully get over any challenge there is, if you want to. I teach English in Tsereteli and most of my students are from Minsk in Belarus or from Russia, they are all lovely people whose lives have been disrupted by Putin's 'Special Operations' in Ukraine. Love your channel.
People's lives in Donbas were also disrupted by the UK and US doing the coup in Ukraine in 2014 which led to the military operation against ethnic Russian in tge east of Ukraine.
Another set of great answers letting us understand your situation and aspirations. Fun editing too and great sunset. Time in an EU country would be interesting for you so hope you get to travel soon.
I like her but i think any Russian who didn't openly talk against Putin before 2022 should stay away from EU untill the war is over and Ukraine gets back it's pre 2014 territories. There are many countries she can travel too.
@@YujiroHanmaaaa I agree, but to be fair she does help Ukrainian charities while in Georgia. It's hard to comprehend how hard it is to oppose in Russia when the whole state is set up against the people.
She demonstrated in support of the Khabarovsk Oblast's politician dismissed by Putin well before 2022-Feb-24. One tacit rule in Russia was that speech against the deputies of Putin was tolerated as long as it wasn't directed at their boss. This rule was rescinded, though.
Natasha, i don't think that the process to ask for political asylum is the one that You have in mind. You don't have to hit rock bottom or to enter on a rubber boat, or things like that... It is actually enough for a person to not be able to live in their home Country, due to a real risk of death and political persecution. And your situation is actually, exactly this one: You cannot go back to your homeland, because You would be 100% sure persecuted and probably killed. So You are absolutely entitled to ask for political asylum...You just need to decide what Country to apply to.
Exactly, because the process is long it's better to look into it as soon as possible. From preliminary search Latvia, Lithuania and Poland have accepted many fleeing Russian journalists (and I think Natasha could now be considered one)
@@БелаяГвардия-о4ю Take advantage while you have UA-cam to see the world. You can no longer use Instagram or Facebook, or X. Putin only lets you have UA-cam, getting closer and closer to North Korea.

@@mightymicroworlds4566 You mean thoughtful and open-minded.
Very nice report.
Really detailed.

You are so intelligent and talented. Thank you for sharing all these insights with us.
I'm disappointed that Natasha doesn't get that, but I understand where she's coming from.

as a local, I dont always like my country to be represented as a hospitable, people pleaser. what you see today in Georgia is a scriptwritting of past century and soviet regime.
Thank You Nina..

If all Russians were like you guys, it would be a different Russia. There would be peace! Friendship! I sympathize with your predicament. When I was your age, I was confused about many things such as what career I should choose, where I should live, and what I believe. Many of us are raised in certain religions, which we later leave. Even so, as a deist, I still believe in God. I think you will eventually figure things out. In any event, I hope you can visit the United States again.
Regarding others: "Opinion is yours." "Advice is ours." "Decisions are mine and mine alone."
"Consultations are welcomed."
What a journey it's been since I subscribed 3 years ago. I look forward to the continued chronicle of your life. Thanks!

You've got a talent at telling stories .. keep up wherever you go.

You are such a good person, Natasha! They are lucky to have you.

Another great video. Keep up the good work.

Actually Natasha is right... I tried applying for Political Asylum in many countries and its a long daunting tedious process. 😢
Exactly, because the process is long it's better to look into it as soon as possible. From preliminary search Latvia, Lithuania and Poland have accepted many fleeing Russian journalists (and I think Natasha could now be considered one)
