This video just shows how good Odyssey’s movement is. You have so much mobility that just didn’t exist in previous games thanks to Cappy.

True is really cool in these games like: SMS SMG and SMO has things in the game that helps you move like SMS has f.l.o.o.d SMG has switched movement and SMO has Cappy I hope Nintendo does something like this again and free like for ya :D

I wish Nintendo actually condoned modding like this instead of always trying to stamp it out. Look what kinds of amazing things fans come up with! Some are just good levels, some are straight up callbacks or HD remakes. It's amazing! Modding is great and I love doing it, so I kind of wish Nintendo would lay off people wanting to do stuff like this.
Maybe not the more modern games, but encouraging modding for older, off-the-shelf games would be nice.

you are misinterpreting what was being said. it's MARIO's left and right that he cannot move in, not our left and right. from mario's perspective, he could only go backward and forward.

Nintendo doesn't just 'advertise' or 'fund' projects, Nintendo is a company, like most companies, it is split into Departments, also, Ports do take time to create, and they don't just 'fund' Smash, if the game developer refuses to work, he's fired, he develops the game for the Global Company and his department, but has no control over smash itself.

The music at 14:55 onward is so clean! Between the ending of the song running into the repeat, which is prompted by his grabbing the star, and the cut transitions RIGHT into the next part of the song. It's beautiful!

The first level is proof that odyssey's movement would be amazing in a linear, 3d world style mario game. Oddysey's challenge rooms were really basic in comparison
Exactly. 3D worlds movement was just not it for me. Love the game though it would really benefit from Odyssey style movesets

That Clankers Cavern level was so cool and I love the detail that the collectibles in that level seem to be in the same places as the collectibles in the og banjo level.
the molten magma level by mechlus is the first time i truly understood and appreciated the skill that goes into mastering movement in mario games, and esp the mobility in odyssey especially. i was legit tense watching you navigate through that level, super cool!

Some of these levels reminded me of the early days of MK Wii custom tracks. Not visually stunning, but fun and functional. Given how good CTGP has become, that's a good sign.

the bob-omb battlefield was amazing and just shows that nintendo already has a lot of newer made stuff that was in mario 64 or at least similar so they could have remade the mario 64 in the 3d all-stars but they didnt.
