Just b/c someone is in authority, powerful, and sometimes has celebrity, does not mean they are an honorable and good person. Thank you CBS.

What a strange year that it's been since last November. I attended a 50th anniversary party for 60 Minutes in NYC at the 92ND Street Y. Charlie Rose led the panel with Lesley Stahl, Steve Kroft and Jeff Fager. Funny thing is that Mr. Rose came up to me afterwards shaking my hand and 15minutes later Fager was saying goodbye to me as we were leaving the building. The whole CBS and network culture reflected the Mad Men culture of its time. That's not to make excuses for gross sexism and corporate threats.

Good for her to put that text out instead of keeping it to herself. That’s what you need to do and expose the person.

"tick, tick, tick, tick, tick," "no more". I remember Steve Kroft from Kansas City. Around the same time and city where a "Christine Craft" named female reporter was "fired" or should I say "terminated" for all the wrong reasons but won a big $,$$$,$$$ settlement.

I had totally forgotten about that story that was one of the first stories about discrimination in the workplace particularly in the news business she really was put through the ringer over her job

I've done things I'm ashamed of. But never something so arrogant and self centered.

My mother has screamed worse things at me. Social sensorship is a crybaby club. She should have documented the messages and seen if it turned into something. All his messages really said was make sure she had proof. Why not focus on getting proof? The court of public opinion is not the law of the land.

One thing from average person, it's another from within the news department, with the power he has.

We need to understand how our culture has created so many sociopathic white men. As an older woman, I have been dealing with them my whole life. So grateful accountability is now demanded of these men. Keep up the great reporting, as Woodward says, "you will be alright". I hope we will be a better culture for our little boys and girls to grow up into healthy adults.

Liz. This is stupid. Everyone in power is abusive. I think we need to understand that doing the right thing all the time is what's needed. Men and women in power lie so much it's sad.
