In 2008 or 2009, Charlie Rose appeared on his nightly show with a black eye, cuts, and bruises on his face. His female producer said at the time, that he was walking down a NYC street, absentmindedly reading his IPhone, when he walked into a pothole, tripped, and fell flat on his face. 'I can show you the blood on his phone,' she said. I thought that story was BS, and that someone must have beaten him up. But if so, I thought, why keep that a secret and tell a different story? In retrospect, someone *DID* beat him up, in all likelihood the boyfriend, husband, brother or father of one of those female interns.
Rose's producer, Yvette Vega, was an enabler, saying at one time to one of those interns, 'That's just Charlie being Charlie.'

It's hard enough to speak up when your boss has made you feel uncomfortable, so when you tell someone in authority and they do nothing it makes you feel your not being heard or believed and that reason alone is why so many of us never say a word. My boss made me feel uncomfortable when he would come around while I'm working and kiss me on the cheek I hated that, it made me feel so gross and it would throw me off because he would sneak behind me so I never got a chance to move out of the way or say no thank you. A hand shake would have suffice don't kiss me.

I’m not sure if all these sexual things are true that’s the issue ... they are so easily faked it’s so stupid because half of them are probably fake this discredits the real victims ... and this actually makes me sad because other women want in on the attention, so in seeing a real sexual misconduct victim they decide to make their own. So this is why this whole thing is stupid.

What's actually happening is that the women want to ruin a career of a wonderful man and so they are doing that right now. Charlie said "I always felt that I was pursuing shared feelings, even though I now realize I was mistaken." He was a successful guy trying to look for a relationship to keep him company and was lured by women because the women never told him to stop. No woman that was sexually assaulted by Charlie ever told him to stop. And some opposing sides may say that well they felt that they had no power over Charlie Rose and therefore just took the sexual assault because they were scared. Well in that case, the woman assaulted have the 'bolls' to speak out on public that they were sexually assaulted but couldn't tell Charlie to stop when they were getting sexually assaulted.. Seems to me like Charlie Rose didn't do anything bad, he was just mislead by women that wanted to get sexually harassed so they could file a lawsuit against him because the women know Charlie has money so if they kept luring Charlie in their trap, they could say that they got sexually assaulted and win $20 million dollars each from their lawsuit against poor Charlie Rose.

Look, we need to have a serious self-examination with all these litigious revelations. I have no doubt in my mind a great many are from opportunists and profiteers. It's always someone in high places and the accusers always look like they've got one foot in the crypt. It's not hard to make the connection that these women are looking for a pay-day, no more, no less.
I envisage a day when accusers will come out against George Clooney, Brad Pitt, et al. These men do not need to rape or coerce women into sexual escapades but when they're old and no longer resemble the image of a sex symbol, these opportunists will come out of the woodwork looking for their 15 minutes and a cheque in their name.

I could care less about him "whispering" in some woman's ear....or asking to skinny dip. Oh. the Horror! This is a money grab for fake groping.

I can't imagine harassing a female, and making them feel like they're less. It is humiliating and hurtful stuff. Then again, I never would have dated my wife years ago, had she not called me and told me that we were going out. I liked her, but I always assumed girls did not feel the same.

There are degrees of sexual misconduct and those allegations I have seen made in UA-cam videos against Charlie Rose are not in the least degree comparable with those against, for example, Harvey Weinstein, Jeffrey Epstein. or Jimmy Saville in the UK.
I am not defending Charlie Rose but the allegations have to be kept in proportion.

I think that going forward, the backlash from all of this is that big companies will just not hire women, the risk is too great. I don't know what the solution is, but I do know how business works, and when it comes to money, companies will protect themselves.

Cover up artist executive producer Yvette Vega needs to be fired also. Her self interest interfered with the promotion of justice for the injured parties. She can be fired on ethical grounds. She can also be possibly sued for negligent conduct enabling Rose to continue in his lawlessness.
