Here's a video on the difference between Student grade and Artist grade paint. Tested Sennelier and Indian artist products maker Camlin. I hope the video will clarify why artist grade paints are preferred by pro artists most often.

they are different colors the french ultramarine is only pb29 pigment and the ultramarine deep is pb29/pv23
Exactly 2 different colors ! just zoomed it ! I exchanged all the sennelier rive gauche with sennelier fine art today after watching this stupid!
You compared two DIFFERENT colors, one is French Ultramarine Blue, and the other is Ultramarine Deep. Of course they're different.
They are related somewhat but the the real difference is in quality.

I was surprised the Sennelier ultramarine blue was a mixture, why add dioxizine violet? It makes you wonder what would happen if you had added some pv 23 to the student grade. I see now it is ultramarine deep. It seems a little overpriced for us. I'm going to compare some Gamblin 1980 UB with some Blue Ridge UB to see if there is a difference.
Here in India it's the cheapest compared to Daniel Smith or Winsor Newton. Although mixed, it's very powerful.

Gamblin is enormously expensive here. So, cannot do it without some samples.

I don't generally paint with student grade. But once I compared Camlin artist cad Orange against Winton Cad orange hue and they looked exactly same! So, I think they are good.

Hi, at present it's not possible but will do that in future for sure. This is a really good brand from DR. Colors are saturated. Used them quite a lot in the past.
He does not know what he is doing. Georgian is low quality. Dont buy

They are different in drying also. Rive gouche is created to paint outside. Not appropriate comparing
It's ok as artist Sennelier is miles away from Rive Gauche in terms of quality. Doesn't matter which color
