Liked the video as a common man interested in Indian Philosophy for introducing it's main branches. Please provide further details along with key scriptures presented by the Maharshies.
Well explained 👍 ..sir we are preparing UPSC philosophy optional if you will cover entire syllabus than it will be very grateful for every UPSC philosophy aspirant 🙏
Thanks Rajesh, well my intent of the video was to explain the philosophy in simplest manner to answer some basic questions. If It is helping you for UPSC prep great, if I get time to focus on other philosophies will do that. Appreciate your feedback 🙏
Great,.... But incomplete.... Like a Trailer.. without movie.... You explained only 2 top parts..... Detailed version is a want.... Better Appriciated.....
There is no difference between the Modern Science's mechanical laws and the Vaisheshika's law of karma. Law of karma is also mechanical like give and take.
All six schools are a part of the Vedas which are thousands of years old so its "founder" cannot be Gautama in 55O BC. At best you can say in recorded history the philosophy was emphasized by Gautama again in Bc 550. Same thing applies to all other "founders" Kindly correct. Thanks
Thanks for your time to checking my video. In my understanding One should never shy away from giving credits & respect to the the masters who worked, distilled the knowledge and explained as a system for coming generation. For example even lord Krishna mentions about sage Kapila in BG. Choosing of words is a personal choice and timeline is based on how different academician have interpreted it, the one I chose which suited for logical progression and understanding. As you know Vedic scripture says - EKAM SAT VIPRA BAHUDHA VADANTI
Hello sir. Very well explained sir. If it is okay, I would like to ask your permission for me to get some of your ideas regarding this topic sir. Only the ideas that you discussed in this video.
Kindly FIRST state the Philosophy i.e. 1. Is there a Universe or not? 2. Is there a creator God or not? 3 . How was man created? 4. Where did consciousness come from? 5. What happens after death. Only AFTER you have stated the philosophy get into the nitty- gritty / details. See your own chart at the beginning stating 5 points you said you would give. Thank you.
This is your understanding and your truth based on the lenses and beliefs you have. Every person has their own understanding and beliefs about God. Until the realization the journey continues...
I have only presented what philosophy talks about, because the same scripture says that Truth is one, masters interpret it differently (for the sake of explaining and conveying to ordinary minds or if you know the word patra in Sanskrit to be more precise).

Does naya and vaisesika philosophy contradict with vedanta
It depends on which school of Vedanta you are referring to. Each philosophy has its view but the core essence is very similar
All six schools are a part of the Vedas which are thousands of years old so its "founder" cannot be Gautama in 55O BC.
At best you can say in recorded history the philosophy was emphasized by Gautama again in Bc 550.

Is God the right word? Is Ishwara God as understood in the west?
What word do you suggest to use in English?

Soul has got nothing to do with Indian philosophy. It’s an Abhramic religious concept. Atman is not soul.
Spirit?
@@mbsucks101 Even worse. There is no best translation of it. Self would be better though

All the six Hindu philosophies challenged the existence of God, proved that god cannot exist; so, the presentation is flawed.

Vishwa Yoga There are clear statements by Maharshi s in their hymns you are deforming and misrepresenting for personal faith

@@AnirbanBandyopadhyay Would you kindly, share and quote the "Maharshi s in their hymns"
