They’ve always been one of the prettiest and best sounding Ferraris ever, but they stay down in value because of the expensive engine out servicing that most people don’t know how to deal with on their own.
I hate to say it but... videos like these are the reason I won't own one because of price hikes. But I still will get one... one day.
Every maintenance job is an engine out. That is why people stay clear.
Not sure many throtl fans are in the market for a classic Ferrari… I doubt a price hike will come because of these guys.

This is the first time in my life that I prefer custom over OEM look, this piece looks perfect.
Please look into getting copper wheels to go with that green paint gentlemen.
The contrast is exquisite and the interior can also be done with copper accents. Just have a look and see, I assure you it screams class!

@@johnmitchell2269 not all of us are blessed with good taste John. Go and have a look at the special edition new Lamborghini Countach, they’ve just done a green and copper version, and I’m pretty sure that the driver isn’t smoking a pipe.
Maybe you just need to fight against the grain, if that’s the case, we’ll done, you’re a real winner!

@@rubenramos-wp4nw I just went to reply the same and saw your comment. The LFA is the best sounding car IMO, on par with many Ferraris. I guess I just love that F1 type of sound versus the low growl of muscle cars. In 3rd place for me would be a 2JZ with something like a T51R turbo for those sweet spooling sounds & wastegate flutter.

The 355 is the best looking Ferrari in my opinion. I love how this one looks, definitely needs the wheels and lowered. The tails lights are very cool. 👍🏻

Keep the Spyder Green. Repaint it yes. But a Nice green. NO WRAP. Terracotta colored interior with Alcantara. Match the top to the interior.
I'm assuming that they know that these had a propensity for burning to the ground. There's a fix, I'm hoping they handle that business. Love the build.

I've never given a shit about Ferraris but I've always thought the 355 was fuckin sick since I've seen it. This video just amplifies my feelings.

Paint the spider in Blu Elettrico of Ferrari's, the top in black and the interior in Camel/Carbon. For me it's a winner's formula and also very distinctive from other cars

Please don't change the spec (exterior/interior) of the car, it is what make it special compare to a lame classique red paint/Black interior ferrari
I think the color needs to change (Toyota Supra Anthracite would be 🔥). And the soft top in green looks wack IMO, so that would need to change too. With those changes and some BBS or HRE’s, you won’t be able to keep TJ away.

Watching this after watching TJ's video on it was perfect. Amazing build and opportunity to make some sweet changes. I like trying to keep the exterior if the green is a low build number and rare.
Also, I wanna say a Lamborghini Merci’s kill switch is in the engine bay towards the back of the driver side. If that’s correct then I saw it in either one of Tavarish’s videos or Mat Armstrong lol both great rebuild channels. Like TJ (forgive me if he’s the wrong UA-camr, don’t watch him) said, if I had a convertible the top would never be up. I ALSO agree it needs painted. Yeah, it’s a color green, pretty for an old man and it being g a driveway princess. For a loud, fast(ish), fun Ferrari then what’s better than Ferrari Red?? That, black top, the darker tan like the silver one, fresh taillights, exhaust, suspension, and BAM that thing would be FRESH. Handle like a go cart, has a refreshed engine ready to roll, and have that Ferrari SCREAM. I really like the valved exhaust because it wasn’t bad at all at low speeds or pulling out the shop then when he hit the highway you could tell it just came to life lol

355 is iconic for sure. You gotta have a mechanic shop if you own one of these because they do require extra maintenance.
They really don’t. Huge nut kick in the 90’s and 2000’s with dealer raping people and over servicing them. If it is a $150k, $200k or even a rare spec low mile $300k car, who gives two chits about a $10k service every 5 years!?! I have spent about $30k in 10 years on 9 different cars. Never lost a penny on any of them. Will not be without a 355 if I can help it for the rest of my life. Cheers!

The titanium grey 97 is not as powerful as the 1995.
Why? Because the 1995 is an OBD1 vehicle. Twin computers in the rear fenders in front of the tail lights and dual maf’s. Two O2 sensors. The 1997 is an OBD2. One computer behind the passenger seat and one MAF sensor. Four O2 sensors.
More pollution controls and Ferrari shaved close to 30 horses to meet emissions standards. Even though they never disclosed it. Put both cars on the dyno and check it out. You’ll see the difference.
And guess what! You can tune it ”-“ “-“!!! Wink wink

And i can get you an extra 25 more horses and 40 lbs of extra torque without engine mods.
I have tbe dyno sheets to prove it.
The suspension adjusters are the same as in the chevy corvette. If the red shock absorber motors go bad they can be repaired cheaply.
The suspension adjusts 4 times as speed increases in normal mode. And 5 times as stiff in sports mode. Need more info. E mail me at my user name at gmail. Com

I def prefer coupes (pronounced “coop-A” lol) over convertibles. Idk why but I find them better looking and they used to be sketchier, and some say it’s still noticeable driving one, is the flexing in convertible chassises. I’ve ridden in a few convertibles ranging from $2k Miatas to $100k BMW convertibles, but never got to really DRIVE one ya know? Plus they’ll ALWAYS be slower than the coupe versions lol and it’s always thanks to aerodynamics for those that always wondered that in video games.

Legit . Worth the money just for the sound. This is what people don't understand about all the new school turbocharged b******* It doesn't sound like a V10 or a V12 or even like Ferraris v8s. B58's and McLarens are fast but just like electirc cars they dont sound good. Same with the CGT. 10:50
i can't help but the F355 is simply a timeless car, it combines elegance, grace and the ferocity of a sports car, its design is absolutely gorgeous and what gives me chills is the sound.... That engine sound embodies the definition of how should sound ferrari !!! Every time I hear that sound at high revs, I get goosebumps!
