I was 11 and was adjusting with a huge change and I found my epiphany in this song. When I was 13 and trying to help put my baby sister to sleep and we found an aid in this song. At 14, when my grandfather finally died after 3 years of being paralyzed, and we went to Kashi, this song and the streets of kashi along with the water Gangaji healed me. When at 17, I failed pre medical test and considered suicide, this song and the wide streets of Ujjain gave me a new purpose. Now, at 20 when I am at loss of my religion (not faith) this song is the last sparkling thread that can warm me up.
People underestimate the true meaning of this song, when they say its for their soulmate, it might not be wrong. But this song is so much more and deeper than that.

Let me explain to everyone, In Rajasthan when there are some guest or special individual is coming home to meet, we prepare special food( called “Rasoi”) [ if you remember the dialog by Hrithik Roshan from Jodha Akbar movie “aaj ka khana ham jodha bai ki rasoi se khayengey” ].
So preparing this special food and all preparations for it called “CHOKH PURAVO”.
