What’s even more stupid is the fact that Kakashi and Naruto were naive enough to think that they could assemble a “team” without the Sanin and “detain” and get info about the Akatsuki out of Itachi Uchiha. This just shows how naive and terrible for Shinobi Naruto and Kakashi are. I mean do they even know who they are dealing with? Do they think they can interrogate and get info out Itachi about the Akatsuki . And look how it misrably failed. They couldn’t get Itachi, find Sasuke, or stop Kabuto and Tobi. I mean their squad kinda sucked to begin with. Kiba and Hinata are good sensory types but are weak ass ninja. Yamato couldn’t stop normal Kabuto and let his guard down against Sage Mode Kabuto. Shino and Sai are good but have room to improve. Kakashi is fine. Naruto is powerful and decent with tactics but a dumbass, he should be lucky Itachi wasn’t after him otherwise the Akatsuki would’ve had the nine tails. I think it’s only cause of plot Tobi didn’t capture Naruto when he easily could’ve. Sakura is great strength and medic wise, but in terms of analytics, she ain’t the best and when it comes to Sasuke, her emotions get the best of her and she is a dumbass(especially looking at the 5 Kage arc). No wonder this mission failed misreabley. And plus why bother with Sasuke, he was going after a rogue akatsuki member who is a wanted S-Rank criminal (Itachi). Why stop him, when they apprehended Hidan and Kakuzu? Leaf ninja are dumb.

Generally, a Rogue ninja is immediately killed after he deserts the village but Tsunade sent a bunch of Genin to bring him back. Between the time skip she didn't do anything about Sasuke. Later in the series he manages to make a Team to catch and interrogate Itachi so that Naruto and Sakura get close to Sasuke. Tsunade was too lenient about Sasuke because of Sakura and Naruto's feelings. No other rogue ninja would get so leniency from the Hokage. This mission was a complete waste of effors and manhours. If she had at least sent a few Jounin with Jiraiya, he wouldn't have died. The wasted so much time on someone who doesn't want to return to the Leaf.

Sasuke didn't do anything criminal back then, he was just as traumatized Uchiha child who trained all his life to get back at his older sibling who slaughtered his caln right in front of him, only to fail misreably and forced to relive the tragedy 518,400 times, that ought to push most people to the edge. It was also a few weeks after Orochimaru attacked and almost suceeded in destroying the Leaf Vilalge. Thats why she couldnt send Leaf Jounin or Jiraiya or Anbu memebers, because they were busy on missions, and others had to stay back to defend the village. Even Kakashi called her out for sending Genin after Sasuke. She shouldve sent like Kakashi, Kurenai, and Anko along with Anbu to apprehend. But you know, plot. I will give it to Tsunade though, she did send Team gaara to assist them, even though it was pretty embarrassing. The only reason she couldn't do anything about Orochimaru during the timeskip is because she is pretty much the only one who can figure out Orochimaru tricks, or at least hold her own against him. The problem is she is the ONLY one capable of that, and if she leafves her spot as her Hokage, then the village would lose its stability and nobody would be there to defend it , and Danzo and the two elders would take bad advantage of it. If she really wanted to capture Itacih, she shouldve taken herself and Jiraiya and wory about Pain a little later. Also Tsunade insisted Jiraiya not to go alone but Jiraiya was too stubborn and stupid to listen imho, if she sent others along, Jiraiya wouldve knocked them out and go alone.

The fact that the Hidden Leaf had nothing better to do than find and bring back Sasuke is pathetic.
What’s even more stupid is the fact that Kakashi and Naruto were naive enough to think that they could assemble a “team” without the Sanin and “detain” and get info about the Akatsuki out of Itachi Uchiha. This just shows how naive and terrible for Shinobi Naruto and Kakashi are. I mean do they even know who they are dealing with? Do they think they can interrogate and get info out Itachi about the Akatsuki . And look how it misrably failed. They couldn’t get Itachi, find Sasuke, or stop Kabuto and Tobi. I mean their squad kinda sucked to begin with. Kiba and Hinata are good sensory types but are weak ass ninja. Yamato couldn’t stop normal Kabuto and let his guard down against Sage Mode Kabuto. Shino and Sai are good but have room to improve. Kakashi is fine. Naruto is powerful and decent with tactics but a dumbass, he should be lucky Itachi wasn’t after him otherwise the Akatsuki would’ve had the nine tails. I think it’s only cause of plot Tobi didn’t capture Naruto when he easily could’ve. Sakura is great strength and medic wise, but in terms of analytics, she ain’t the best and when it comes to Sasuke, her emotions get the best of her and she is a dumbass(especially looking at the 5 Kage arc). No wonder this mission failed misreabley. And plus why bother with Sasuke, he was going after a rogue akatsuki member who is a wanted S-Rank criminal (Itachi). Why stop him, when they apprehended Hidan and Kakuzu? Leaf ninja are dumb.
@@Seasonal-Shadow_4674 you are absolutely right. It was all Tsunade's stupid plan because Sakura and Naruto wanted to have Sasuke back in their Team. Generally, a Rogue ninja is immediately killed after he deserts the village but Tsunade sent a bunch of Genin to bring him back.
Between the time skip she didn't do anything about Sasuke. Later in the series he manages to make a Team to catch and interrogate Itachi so that Naruto and Sakura get close to Sasuke. Tsunade was too lenient about Sasuke because of Sakura and Naruto's feelings. No other rogue ninja would get so leniency from the Hokage. This mission was a complete waste of effors and manhours. If she had at least sent a few Jounin with Jiraiya, he wouldn't have died. The wasted so much time on someone who doesn't want to return to the Leaf.
@@at1906_ Honestly, I think for just being a "rouge" ninja, I do not think death is always a suitable punishment. Sasuke didn't do anything criminal back then, he was just as traumatized Uchiha child who trained all his life to get back at his older sibling who slaughtered his caln right in front of him, only to fail misreably and forced to relive the tragedy 518,400 times, that ought to push most people to the edge. You gotta be strong or souless to withstand that. And plus Sasuke never aligned with but merely used Orochimaru to gain more power and ended up "killing" him and did the Leaf a favor. Why should he still be considered a rogue ninja that should be killed on the spot? And he's going after another Akatsuki member, what does he have left to lose. I think that is one rule I disagree with that a rogue ninja who did nothing more than just leave the village, and not really siding with the enemy to considred a criminal that is only punishable by death. But yeah I agree, it was pointless going after him because he has his own agenda, didn't attend on going back, and never did anything that would make him an S-Rank criminal at the time. But still the whole agenda of detaining Itachi Uchiha and trying to get "info" out of him is laughable and how much of a loser Leaf Shinobi are. kakashi and naruto don't deserve to be called ninja. Back then Tsunade sent a bunch of genin because she figured out what Orochimaru had planned and wanted to stop him. It was also a few weeks after Orochimaru attacked and almost suceeded in destroying the Leaf Vilalge. Thats why she couldnt send Leaf Jounin or Jiraiya or Anbu memebers, because they were busy on missions, and others had to stay back to defend the village. Even Kakashi called her out for sending Genin after Sasuke. She shouldve sent like Kakashi, Kurenai, and Anko along with Anbu to apprehend. But you know, plot. I will give it to Tsunade though, she did send Team gaara to assist them, even though it was pretty embarrassing. The only reason she couldn't do anything about Orochimaru during the timeskip is because she is pretty much the only one who can figure out Orochimaru tricks, or at least hold her own against him. The problem is she is the ONLY one capable of that, and if she leafves her spot as her Hokage, then the village would lose its stability and nobody would be there to defend it , and Danzo and the two elders would take bad advantage of it. If she really wanted to capture Itacih, she shouldve taken herself and Jiraiya and wory about Pain a little later. Also Tsunade insisted Jiraiya not to go alone but Jiraiya was too stubborn and stupid to listen imho, if she sent others along, Jiraiya wouldve knocked them out and go alone.
