My healthcare provider just recommended that I stay on 7.5 Mounjaro for 6 MORE months, because my blood work looks good and I'm still losing weight. I've been on 7.5 for two months already, but I DON'T want to rush to titrate up too quickly. I'm glad I saw your video! ☺️♥️👏
@@thedownsized Six months is a long time to be at this level, but she says that if I hit a stall or desire to titrate up she'll bump me up, so I don't have to stay at the 7.5. 🤣😆
Spot on 👏 I’ve been writing down every detail about this journey and I can see the patterns for myself and what’s working for me. So exciting to be close to goal weight! I’ve still got over 100lbs to lose so I’m focusing on ten pounds at a time
10 pounds at a time is a great goal! Just keep going and you'll get there! I've never been at my goal weight in my entire adult life (until now) and I'm 55! This medication is life changing!
Very helpful video. My Journey i have done 2.5 four weeks 5.0 four weeks Zepbound. I am on compound now 7.5 second month I plan on staying at 7.5 as long as it is working I have a lot to loose I don't want to top out to early . I plan on staying on this medication the rest of my life.
Thanks for your comment! Like I mentioned in my video, 7.5 worked really well for me. Hope it works well for you, too! Keep us posted on your progress!
Thank you. I was getting anxious because I wasn't seeing the loss. I was bouncing up and down 1-2 lbs per week. I'm on 5mg tirzepatide week 7 . This was helpful.. I'm drinking more water than I've ever drank in my life, taking fiber, and in my 2nd week of strength training with resistance bands, a little paladis thrown in😊. I'm down a total of 12. 1 lbs in 7 weeks.
Great video, thanks for the insight. I’ve been on 2.5mg for two months averaging 1.3 lbs so far. I think I will move up to 5 mg next month. I have over 100 lbs to lose so I’m going to try and stay on that dose for a while.
It’s funny….we seem to think that more is better…. I am glad I watched so many videos before I started. I am planning on 2.5 for the first two months, and then assess. 😊😊😊
Doctor has kept me on 2.5 for 3 1/2 months. I’m down 20 to 25 pounds. I think that I’m losing about one to one and a half pounds a week. Initially side effects were bad mostly constipation but getting that under control. I have been watching what I eat and exercising quite a bit. Do you think that I am correct and assuming that if I go up to five that I will have an increase of those initial side effects I had in the beginning..? many thanks
Hi, thanks for your question. It's important to read the directions that came with your medication. If you are using compounded tirzepatide, the titration can vary from pharmacy to pharmacy. If you have a question on dosage please ask your online provider or your compounding pharmacist.
She is 💯 correct! I just went to my first 15mg dose. In 12 months I have lost 70 pounds. I have not been doing anything different like exercise. I’m excited to say I am no longer a diabetic. GREAT VIDEO!!!!
This is Christopher. Laraine is much more focused on the tracking than I am - she loves a spreadsheet. I have a good record of my weights from the digital scale software and am working on building the rest from prescription data - but in general I was on the first dose for 3 months - and lost the most weight then. I then progressed up approximately every 2 months

Glad you are checking with your Dr. - 6 months seems like a long time- but as long as you’re losing, that’s what you want! ❤️👏

I agree. I have been on 7.5mg 12 months of my maintenance journey. I'm on week 86 of mounjaro. HW330 CW158.

Sounds like you’re on your way! 😍
Thank you for this, I have wondered about staying at a dosage if I’m still losing. That will be my plan.
Best video!!

CD: my side effects have stayed basically the same no matter the dose. But they can surprise you every week every dose.
@@thedownsized Thanks for your response
You look great! Thanks for the tips.
Thanks so much!
Can you share how many units you would use for each dose of Tirzepatide following the mg of Mounjaro

Christopher, what was your dosing progression?

Interesting that you have so successful while slowly progressing your dosage.
Did the slower progression reduce side effects?
It’s hard to say. I have had very minimal side effects. A bit of constipation, that is pretty manageable
Great video .. If you are staying on a dose for more than the 4 weeks, are you purchasing extra vials?
I just purchase 1 month at a time. On Mochihealth I can pick the dose I want.
@@thedownsized How much in advance do you need to order your medicine to make sure you don't miss a dose!?!?!?
Me personally I’m obtaining from cake and alcoholic l birthday or vacations on …not gon happen
Doesn’t make sense that you don’t get more weight-loss per week with each dose increase yet more side effects
You don’t necessarily get more side effects
