I haven't heard this song in so long, but I could forget how it brings me to tears because it reminds me of my grandma and those lovely memories we created together
This song was once the song that won Eurovision for Ireland in 1996. But it wasn’t Celtic woman who sang in Eurovision that time. This is a cover of the song. it was actually sung by a woman named “Eimear Quinn” who won it for Ireland in Oslo Norway
I wish for my family when I hear this. My mother is a very spiritual person and her everyday life, and career, is built around that fact. This song allows me to tap into that family peace and spirit. I picture us, all 15 of us, holding hands in a circle.

I’ve felt the same way but for some reason this made tears come in my eyes but it made me stronger at the end and by the way I did start to sing the Song also have a great and blessed day
Every time I listen to this song, I can feel the Irish and Native American blood coursing through my veins. I feel the raindrops of Ireland speaking to me. I feel the whistle of the mountain winds in North America singing to my soul. To a magical place, completely unknown to me. I must go there. I must. The wolves will guide me, there................*home*.
Yes so true, my great grandfather immigrated to America from Ireland and married my great grandmother who was full Cherokee. Little wonder Hiraeth is the word that describes my life. I’ve seen all of America, but Ireland still beckons me.
I always remember my great-great grandma (granny' grandma!!) while hearing this amazing song. She died last year on 18th december in the age of 94 and I miss her so much. She is always by my side. She was by my birth and she will be when I die...
YES!! Same here! I feel I was born in the wrong country (and era)... my heart has always been with the magical, Spirited, Celtic lands/people! The bit of Irish blood that flows through my veins feels much thicker and stronger than any of the other DNA in me, even tho it isn't a large percentage by comparison. My soul has always felt like it belongs there, instead of where I am... if I could, I would relocate and live the rest of my days in Ireland (and Scotland too!) Celtic music always gets right into my heart and Soul... 😊
Not only is this song really really beautiful with the feeling of longing Nostalgia but as a Christian it somehow feels very biblical and that’s just speaking to me and I just found that really awesome personally I guess it’s just a thrill feel to it that might give it that vibe and regardless this song so far sounds super beautiful
I just saw them live for the very first time tonight! I bought my Nana and myself orchestra level seats for an early Mother's Day gift since we both love Celtic Woman so much! The passion and talent these women have are absolutely incredible, astounding, and even better in person than on CD! 💖💖
+AtsukoLovesBubbleTea same. except I'M riding a warhorse made outta Hellfire which is also NAMED Hellfire holding a Hellfire infused bastard sword with a curved blade and I'm the Ghost Rider. a bastard sword is another name for a hand and a half sword fyi. its basically both a one-handed and two-handed sword at the same time. also Hellfire is an ethereal flame that burns one's soul and can be used to burn one's physical body as well in case u didn't know. manifesting Hellfire is one of The Ghost Riders powers as he can infuse his weapons and just about anything else with it, he can blast it from his hands like he's from Skyrim, from his mouth like he's a Dragon, and from his eyes like he's Superman. also, he can create an omnidirectional Hellfire explosion at will like he's Android #16 going up against Cell or Majin Vegeta going up against Majin Buu. (u would have to be a DBZ fan to get THAT reference) finally, The Ghost Rider has his signature power The Penance Stare which makes anyone who looks into his eyes feel and experience all the pain they have ever caused anyone in their entire lives all at once for all of eternity.
i LOVE this song it makes me see these same visions over and over again that seem to be that i'm in like a forest and someone is calling for me so i follow it and it leads me to this place in the middle of the forest where everything is bright and the sun is shining on me and it is just so beautiful.
I listen to this when ever I am giving up on myself and humanity and it always reminds me of all the good thing we have done and all our good qualities as well as makes me feel more connected to the world is this just me been wired?
This song reminds me of my native and Scottish blood a place I never was.. and something else I can't tell what is. Maybe something to do with the moon since I always sit up when the moon is yellow and watch it the moons always fansinated me for its beauty. This song and sleep song remind me of this.
This song is of my soul and it’s bringing out the wolf deep inside that society had buried. Now no one can stop me from singing with the moon and being who I am
Lisa Kelly..... We miss you so much in Celtic Woman..... Things are not the same and it can be understood through the feelings and chills that only your rendition of this song gives me.....♥️♥️♥️♥️💫💫💫💫💫♥️♥️♥️♥️
I'm part Irish myself so I always enjoy music from my ancestral homeland. I'm also part Cherokee as well so it makes for a very rich and interesting heritage I have. (I think I can call myself part Celtic too but I'm not ENTIRELY certain if Irish and Celtic is the same)
Lysanna I'm just a kid, but while everyone else listens to pop, rock, etc. I love listening to such songs, they are soothing, they give me the feeling I could achieve more ♥ and like...idk, I can't describe really how much these Celtic songs mean to me, haha

Can the Celtic Woman make a song without making me fall in love with the singer ? for real though, your voice is gorgeous, I feel my heart beating faster and butterflies in my stomach whenever I hear any of your songs. Keep up the great job.
I haven't heard this song since I was a little kid. The sound of it made me cry, the deep tug it had at my soul was stronger than anything I've ever experienced! Sorry if that's too cheesy, but it's true💚
As a kid i have always wanted to live in the woods and run with the wolves under a full moon. But society tends to hold me down and people dont believe i can survive in the woods alone, that i would get 'bored.' But as a moon child, it calls to me, almost beggingly. One day im going to buy a cabin in the woods or the mountains. I am feral, i am a moon child, The woods is where i believe i belong. Edit 1/30/2023: Hey, thanks for all the likes and comments! Every time i come back to this song and see that im like: "Dang. People like that?" Honestly i see it as sorta cringy now. But it is still one of my goals to live in the woods one day!
Same when ever I get off the bus I drop off my bag and go to the woods for a long time I stay in the woods until dinner I feel like a moon child because after I eat I go right back outside until bedtime the woods is my life

Lyrics: I hear your voice on the wind And I hear you call out my name "Listen, my child," you say to me "I am the voice of your history Be not afraid, come follow me Answer my call, and I'll set you free" I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain I am the voice of your hunger and pain I am the voice that always is calling you I am the voice, I will remain I am the voice in the fields when the summer's gone The dance of the leaves when the autumn winds blow Ne'er do I sleep throughout all the cold winter long I am the force that in springtime will grow I am the voice of the past that will always be Filled with my sorrow and blood in my fields I am the voice of the future, bring me your peace Bring me your peace, and my wounds, they will heal I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain I am the voice of your hunger and pain I am the voice that always is calling you I am the voice I am the voice of the past that will always be I am the voice of your hunger and pain I am the voice of the future I am the voice, I am the voice I am the voice, I am the voice
I'm italian, my parents and grandparents are too, and we don't have any relatives who are known to us and came from outside Italy. But I feel anyway so close to this "voice", this lyric could be something my mother would say to me if I was away from home... damn, I can't even explain.
I love this song. I'm depressed almost all the time and only songs with or without lyrics can help me get through it. Listen to Brunuh Ville and Adrian Von Ziegler when you get depressed. I have a sad playlist with Eternal Forest, Allure of Darkness, the Everlasting Star, and another one I forgot the title of. Listen to these and create a playlist as I did. Name whatever you like.
You do know that some "sorcerers" as you say do white magic and are Christians or Catholic...Just saying, im personally Polytheistic so I dont have a proper religion per se....
And yes, I am a wiccan, I use light and grey magic, and YES before you ask IT IS REAL....I dont even want to go in details or put anyone down, but I believe what I want and you believe in what you want
I feel like the "voice" this song refers to is the voice of mother nature and also the subconscious voice of all mankind. If we'd only stop fighting with each other, if we'd only live together in peace, this world would become a paradise. It doesn't matter your skin color, your gender, your romantic or sexual orientations, your religion, or your background, deep down we're all human. If we could only see past all those things and work together to achieve our goals, there is nothing we humans can't accomplish. We could become divine. But don't forget, either, that we are also animals living on this big blue earth, sharing it with many other animals and plants. We must not take nature for granted, we mustn't forget our roots, and we must respect all living things no matter how "lowly" they are.
As Brendan Graham who wrote the song said ""The Voice is the Voice of Ireland calling to her people all over the world reminding them of their past, present and future"
@@tonymolloy6165 Is that right? Interesting, so that was the intended meaning! I can see that, listening to these lyrics. It's funny because in a way this song does feel like it is calling me, and I do have Irish blood lol.
Every time I hear this song I think of my favorite book series Eragon. I think of the elves singing this every spring to bring forward the dormant energies in the trees and plants to help the forest. Or maybe at the blood oath celebration that happens in the books
Why does this song bring something out in me as if i was a homesick irish woman haha its so beautiful it gives me wanderlust and some sense of nostalgia...amazing

Oh daughters of the moon and sun, I now you are here. Witches from around the world you’ve been called. I hear your cries. You’re voices are whispers in my bones. Our ancestors are watching us and we are so close to made it! Some of us are the granddaughters of the witches you could not burn, some of us have the souls of the witches that you did burn. But all of us are children with eyes of burning gold with the thirteen on our sides. Blessed it be.
When I was younger I used to listen to this song with my grandad. Every time I was on the car with him I would make him play it on repeat, I used to think it was the most beautiful song I had ever heard. Now a good 5 years have passed and I found this song and nearly cried because of all the memories that it brought back ..
"I am the voice that is always calling you." That part hit me very differently because, many times after I was walking home I heard something in the forest call my name, but no-one was there. And once in my dream I heard the same voice and after that I suddenly appeared in a weird beautiful place in my dream. It gave me Deja vú feelings. And I know for sure that place was not on earth!

Song also have a great and blessed day
YOU CAN DO IT TOO?!
she is an amazing singer! with such high notes and hitting them flawlessly. that's goals right there
Every time I listen to this song, I can feel the Irish and Native American blood coursing through my veins. I feel the raindrops of Ireland speaking to me. I feel the whistle of the mountain winds in North America singing to my soul. To a magical place, completely unknown to me. I must go there. I must. The wolves will guide me, there................*home*.
It makes me feel the Scottish in me
Hannah 'GryffinDORK' Weasley
Same though.
Hannah 'GryffinDORK' Weasley , God, not the wolves, will guide you home.
Hanna Belle Hey, don’t do that. If they feel it’s the wolves calling them, don’t get in the way of that.
My goodness this is amazing. What a powerful song. The message and voice are so much attuned. It brings tears to my eyes.
My grandpa is Irish..so glad I have some tiny miny bit of Irish in me after hearing this lovely song... And her vocals it's killing me!!!
Everytime I hear this song I feel like Ireland is calling my name as if it's telling me come home
It's the blood and spirit of your ancestors
I'm welsh and feel the same way except that voice is God.
YES!! 😊
Can you imagine I was born and live in Brazil and feel the same?
hetfieldshoney SAME!
Never will I get tired of this song.
It makes me want to go ride a horse bareback through the Irish countryside on a mildly stormy day.
AtsukoLovesBubbleTea
YES!

The UnchartedWolf agreed
i LOVE this song it makes me see these same visions over and over again that seem to be that i'm in like a forest and someone is calling for me so i follow it and it leads me to this place in the middle of the forest where everything is bright and the sun is shining on me and it is just so beautiful.
I listen to this when ever I am giving up on myself and humanity and it always reminds me of all the good thing we have done and all our good qualities as well as makes me feel more connected to the world is this just me been wired?
This kind of music reminds us of who we were. It’s sad that we fallen so far.
This song reminds me of my native and Scottish blood a place I never was.. and something else I can't tell what is. Maybe something to do with the moon since I always sit up when the moon is yellow and watch it the moons always fansinated me for its beauty. This song and sleep song remind me of this.
I live in Scotland and it's a healing place... if you mean that you haven't been here, come...
This is my new favorite song, I don't know why but it really fits wolves. I like wolves, they're cool and beautiful.
+Reshop Lincoln kom Trikru (May we meet again) i see how it relates to a wolf and this is my new favorite song too

Sacred Mother Earth, the Godess calling us back to our roots....Nature!

😍I immediately fell in love with this. Her voice is angel 😇 like❤️
This song is of my soul and it’s bringing out the wolf deep inside that society had buried. Now no one can stop me from singing with the moon and being who I am
This is perfect for mothers to sing for their child God bless you mother
Abdelmoutaleb Kandil *I am the voice of your hunger and pain*
Lisa Kelly..... We miss you so much in Celtic Woman..... Things are not the same and it can be understood through the feelings and chills that only your rendition of this song gives me.....♥️♥️♥️♥️💫💫💫💫💫♥️♥️♥️♥️
Nostalgia :') I used to listen to this song 3 years ago when I was obsessed with celtic culture
I'm part Irish myself so I always enjoy music from my ancestral homeland. I'm also part Cherokee as well so it makes for a very rich and interesting heritage I have. (I think I can call myself part Celtic too but I'm not ENTIRELY certain if Irish and Celtic is the same)
Lysanna
I'm just a kid, but while everyone else listens to pop, rock, etc. I love listening to such songs, they are soothing, they give me the feeling I could achieve more ♥ and like...idk, I can't describe really how much these Celtic songs mean to me, haha
Dragonstar Celtic is a wide group including Irish English Welsh and Scottish.
oh. I guess I AM part Celtic then. huh. neat.
Played this song in the woods and the wind picked up and almost felt like comforting...it was nice thank you
Irish people have one of the best cultures in the world. Their music is just otherworldly and powerful.

I can't explain how beautiful this song is 💐💐💐💖💖💖
I love how this song is happy and dark at the same time
Thaaaaat's IRELAND FOR YA, WEE DARLIN
This song makes me think of a mother's love for her sons💝
Can the Celtic Woman make a song without making me fall in love with the singer ? for real though, your voice is gorgeous, I feel my heart beating faster and butterflies in my stomach whenever I hear any of your songs. Keep up the great job.
I haven't heard this song since I was a little kid. The sound of it made me cry, the deep tug it had at my soul was stronger than anything I've ever experienced! Sorry if that's too cheesy, but it's true💚
Back at least once a month, because I need the Hope it gives. 👍👍& 10⭐ Many thanks again, for sharing with us all.🤗

This gives me goosebumps... such a powerful song.
When I hear this it makes me feel as if spirits are around me protecting me and calling me to my true self and home
As a kid i have always wanted to live in the woods and run with the wolves under a full moon.
But society tends to hold me down and people dont believe i can survive in the woods alone, that i would get 'bored.'
But as a moon child, it calls to me, almost beggingly.
Same when ever I get off the bus I drop off my bag and go to the woods for a long time I stay in the woods until dinner I feel like a moon child because after I eat I go right back outside until bedtime the woods is my life
be wary of what you wish for the sungmanitu do not always welcome all who would join them my north american cousins call me sungmanitu ska it can be a lonely path and for some a short one
Be free moon child. If u know that u should be in the woods and wolves with the full moon, so go. Don't stop your dreams because the society

@@chavaheee2340 You are not alone.
Just checking out a song that was suggested for me. I clicked on it and who would have thought I would be introduced to a different genre of music
Truly this is majestic music
Lyrics:
I hear your voice on the wind
And I hear you call out my name
"Listen, my child," you say to me
"I am the voice of your history
Be not afraid, come follow me
Answer my call, and I'll set you free"
I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice, I will remain
I am the voice in the fields when the summer's gone
The dance of the leaves when the autumn winds blow
Ne'er do I sleep throughout all the cold winter long
I am the force that in springtime will grow
I am the voice of the past that will always be
Filled with my sorrow and blood in my fields
I am the voice of the future, bring me your peace
Bring me your peace, and my wounds, they will heal
I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice
I am the voice of the past that will always be
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice of the future
I am the voice, I am the voice
I am the voice, I am the voice
I'm italian, my parents and grandparents are too, and we don't have any relatives who are known to us and came from outside Italy. But I feel anyway so close to this "voice", this lyric could be something my mother would say to me if I was away from home... damn, I can't even explain.
I'm Italian, too! This song reminds me of Mother Nature.
Agree, but heavenly in2
+Sarah Jacobsen Specially the one that says to kill all the witches and sorcerers.
same here with the depression and I also have a few other probs like that but music helps me get through them to
You do know that some "sorcerers" as you say do white magic and are Christians or Catholic...Just saying, im personally Polytheistic so I dont have a proper religion per se....
And yes, I am a wiccan, I use light and grey magic, and YES before you ask IT IS REAL....I dont even want to go in details or put anyone down, but I believe what I want and you believe in what you want
For all the dogs, and animals suffering at the hands of cruel human beings. We are your voice. TY for the beautiful song and music.
I only stumbled on this song recently and it gives me chills every time I listen to it now! Absolutely beautiful and powerful.
Yes I agree with you all life matters no matter the gender, skin color, sexuality and whether you are animal, plant or human
Or maybe at the blood oath celebration that happens in the books
yes!!!
YES!!!!!

Thank you for pulling such beautiful art together, in image and song, and acknowledging the talent of those who created them. Special thanks to you for enhancing both the song and image in such a way, and the lovely font used to display the words in just the right way. Your efforts to bring all this together in such a beautiful way, amplify the message in a profound way that goes straight to the soul. 🙏🏻

I don't mind listening to mainstream music, but it's little songs like these that are filled with heart & soul that truly make my day.
((I'm 3/4 Irish as well. Love you, Ireland! I WILL visit you some day in the future!))

Pure magic Pure Celt

That's awesome.
This still touches me at a visceral level, after all the years past, since first hearing it.
Everone talking about Ireland and being drawn to their then there is me pressing on the video because of the wolf and stayed for the beautiful voice
When I was younger I used to listen to this song with my grandad. Every time I was on the car with him I would make him play it on repeat, I used to think it was the most beautiful song I had ever heard. Now a good 5 years have passed and I found this song and nearly cried because of all the memories that it brought back
..
Might be schizophrenia. Might wanna get that checked out.
