Pablo is a miracle. A friend died several years ago from GBM after a ten year fight. I understood that he did Keto for years, but not exclusively. He had support from his family, friends and employer. He wanted to find people who have had more success than he had so he could learn from them. His doctors told him that he was that guy. He would have been inspired by Pablo and this series. ❤ Thank you all.
Search for "Thomas Seyfried, ketogenic diet" and you will find great hope! The ketogenic method works and has been tested against many types of cancer. I have diabetes type 2. By using the ketogenic diet (avoiding sugar and anything that can be converted to sugar by the intestants which is flour. The worst is bread, panncakes, pasta, potatoes and rice). I eat meat, chicken, egg and fish and exchange potatoes with brocholi, salad or beans. As long as I eat this I have no diabetes and normal blod sugar values! So the ketogenic diet also cures diabetic patients! I am proof of this.

Bravo for you to taking your brain cancer in your own hands, researching everything, and not following your oncologists. My son died from stage 4 gioblastoma. In my first meeting with his MGH oncologist, after I asked her how tumor is fueled. She replied glucose. I suggested that wheat and grains metabolize as glucose and I recommend my son go on a strict keto diet or carnivore diet to halt growth of tumor. Her reply: there is no scientific evidence that a keto or carnivore diet would help. I knew this was not true. She said to my son to eat whatever he wants. So that is exactly what he did. He ate as if he was dying. So sad. I do believe he would still be here today had he changed his diet; I had been suggesting this WOE since 2016 union deaf ears. He died 8/20/24, about 13 months after his diagnosis. He was my only child. I cannot believe he is gone.
Pablo, you are a very smart man. You cured yourself. Thank you for sharing your journey. Today, you have to be your own physician. Love is the key. Some doctors will support this because they are open and many will not because of ignorance.
Thank you for sharing your story. You are truly a miracle! So many more people need to hear what you have to say so many more people could benefit from this help I pray that the word and information you shared with us will get to the people who need it most. Keep doing what you’re doing and so thankful that you didn’t give up and give in. You have a beautiful family and your children are so sweet. I pray God bless you richly and your family too. Pablo, thank you for your testimony, and congratulations to listening to your instincts and following ketogenic diet. Unfortunately medical professionals are so uncooperative with cancer patients wanting to put more emphasis on diet, almost ridiculing them. They only know what big pharma wants to push through them. I stopped supporting cancer council research drives, because they all support pharma based solutions and they definitely only look at the bottom line.
You are the brave one. Standard of care is brutal. And there’s no guarantee then. And the effects even if you do get to NED the chemo and radiation can spawn future secondary cancers. And look at the good quality of life comparatively speaking that you’ve enjoyed in the years since dx. I’m a retired RN and I would not accept standard of care. Per Dr. Seyfried, if I have it right, Switching to Water fasting, at least initially, instead of keto May get fastest results. You have a lovely, sweet family , thanks for sharing the photo…. I pray that God forgives the people who have turned a blind eye to such a precious soul. You will set the standard Pablo! Thank you for your obedience and light getting the word out in this world.
My take on this story is using the metabolic approach will at least keep you having good quality of life during the treatment period although the outcome is not 100% guaranty. No other treatment plans guarantees the outcome. Dr. Sara Hallberg died of lung cancer at age 49. She was a ketogenic dieter and her earlier life was vegan.

Congratulations to have the courage to think out of the box. I am a little surprised, any mention to some fasting protocol, that is the most powerful tool to reduce massively the ratio glucose/ketones I think?

So good listening to your story. I lost my brother to Glioblastoma Multiform two years ago 15 months after diagnosis…no treatment, inoperable! No treatment options were offered.
My dad was doing keto for 6 weeks but he lost so much weight so he started eating clean carbs again. He is very skinny now. His situation is very serious. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance! Thank you for the amazing video. I'm so thankful you are well!
Patients that are late stage and appear to have muscle wasting, cachexia, should definitely seek medical help. Keto patients can keep an eye on their BMI. Doctors usually don't get too worried as long as it's over 20. Unfortunately our perception of what a healthy weight is continues to shift higher with time. We hear from patients that they usually stabilize at a few pounds lower than what they were expecting or comfortable with, but they are still in a healthy range. Keto diets are muscle sparing. So can help fight cachexia. There are things that are still Ketogenic that people can add to their keto diet (instead of carbs) to help with weight gain. Nuts and cheeses come to mind. Some complex carbs (veggies) might be okay. This is not medical advice, but places you may start investigating.
My mother at 92, went very low carb during her cancer treatment, was losing too much weight. After increasing the quantity of food, she leveled off. Still on very low carb. Doing fine at 93.
Thank you so so much for your story. I am so encouraged by you and have recently pursued the ketogenic diet for cancer. I am hopeful thanks to the experiences on UA-cam.
You should watch the Thomas Seyfried from Baston College metabolic therapy clinic before you start chemo or radiation therapy, he tells your story how keto low carb, sugar and glutamine helps fight cancer
Indeed. Seyfried wrote the paper on Pablo www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8200410/ Tom is featured in the CANCER/EVOLOTION docu-series. He is a close friend and we're so grateful for his help!
Thank you Pablo for sharing your trials and tribulations with your brain cancer. I am forwarding this video along to my family members. My sister has been dealing with brain tumors for the past two years and the doctors have told her that there is nothing more they can do for her after chemo & radiation and medication trials. I sure hope that your story can help us. Wishing you control over your life and health!

The 'idh1 mutant gene' (mentioned at 20.24) is a hugely fortunate advantage to anyone considering doing keto for cancer , (as with Pablo). At the very least, Patients should be told if they have this gene, or be told they can be tested for it . This gene helps blocks the glutamine that is, (along with glucose), fuel that cancer cells need .
Thank you for your comment. I think Pablo is the only Cancer Thriver we have spoken with who has that special gene. It may be helpful, but lots of cancer patients are benefitting from ketogenic diets and other metabolic therapies who don't have it. I can't imagine NOT doing metabolic therapies because I didn't have that special gene. Perhaps people who realize they have that gene can have a little more hope in their cancer journey.
@@CANCEREVOLUTIONdoc From reading comments , there are many anecdotes of how keto ,and Metabolic therapy are helping put cancers into remission . There is definately real benefit to the therapy and more people should use it and be made aware of it .
I have followed the keto/carnivore diet for the past year and at 67 yrs old my health has never been so good. Yesterday my dearest friend was diagnosed with this aggressive glioblastoma brain tumour. She is mostly vegetarian so how can I persuade her to eat keto - never mind carnivore. The general population think us carnivores are nuts. I don't want to spook her out, she's in terrible shock but I just wish i could persuade her to try this diet. Love to you Pablo xx
Has anyone ever published a test for the metabolic approach to fight cancer on humans or have all tests only been done on animals? Do the results of animal tests carry over to the same results in humans?
There are not any completed clinical trials for keto and fasting. One is in Stage II at the moment, for keto and glioblastomas. But there is a TON of anecdotal evidence. I.e.case studies of individuals who have used these approaches.
It takes a lot of strong will to fight the system. With my limited knowledge and experience, I would say that raw leaves pescaterian diet would probably help more than carnivore.
So did you do chemotherapy and radiation? My mother is going to the same thing right now they moved 98% of it. I just need some help on the best treatment. Should we do radiation and chemo?
The press/pulse idea comes from looking at mass extinction events. The idea is that a constant amount of stress is placed on a system, this is the press. Then an acute pulse hits that system and a large number of whatever is stressed is knocked out. This is the pulse. For cancer, as Seyfried discusses it, keto is the press and small amounts of chemo or radiation are the pulse.
Have you heard about the modified polio virus treatment for your caner? 60 minutes did a youtube video on it. Keto definetly will starve cancer. I hope mine is gone, stage 4 large B cell lymphoma. Godd luck.
In some cases, not at all painful. My father was diagnosed with grade 4 GBM in June of 2023, with a lesion in his temporal lobe. Although it has impaired his speaking, he hasn't felt any pain, before or after the surgery. The conventional treatment itself (temozolomide and radiotherapy) can cause more suffering than the tumor itself, from our experience. Hope everything is well with you and your loved ones.
Did I hear him say he wants to eat meat raw for better digestion? Believe me, cooking as a technology makes meat easier to digest. In 1838 Dr. Beaumont tested this by dipping bits of food into some guys stomach.
If the essence of cancer is merely “defective” mitochondria with no genome alterations (mitochondrial or otherwise), then how does this defectiveness propagate in a tumor? A tumor is going to be almost entirely made of new cells and their mitochondria are going to be produced via the central dogma. Maybe I am completely misunderstanding what Seyfried is saying, but I don’t see a mechanism for how these tumor mitochondria could all instantaneously become defective.
Thank you. There is too much to explain here, but cancers certainly have mutations and they are important. Seyfried simply aregues that they are not the reason the cancer forms. Cancer mitochondria are fewer (up to 50% less) and are less capable of using oxygen (usually impaired by 40-60%). Because of this, if you removed fermentation as a fuel source, cancer cells could not stay alive using respiration.
@@MrNickdino Google Bard has access to all UA-cam video transcripts and can produce a useful response to this question if you preface it with, "based on UA-cam videos that have Thomas Seyfried in them, " then type in your question. In my response from Bard, I got a reference to Peter Attia episode #30. Here is part of Bard's response: "Seyfried also mentions that cancer cells can have mutations in genes that regulate metabolism. These mutations can further contribute to the Warburg effect by making the cells even more reliant on fermentation. While Seyfried doesn't directly address how these defects propagate in a tumor, his explanation suggests that the Warburg effect is not simply a consequence of having defective mitochondria in all the cells. Rather, it is a complex process that involves both mitochondrial damage and metabolic adaptations in cancer cells."
WOW, you have overlived glioblastoma. This should be spread all over the world - it it´s true. Or ar you just looking for money? All oncologysts should be interested in this...

Trying to remember to stop the hyperventilating by talking. Epilepsy issues cause problems when I hyperventilate through talking. I've had a lot of grand mal seizures and during them I would struggle to breathe and I believe that has caused some problems too.

What do you use for Glutamin blocking?
I don't recall him or Dr. Seyfried ever mentioning anything (i.e. DON).
Pablo how many carbs or net carbs do you have in a day?
Where does one go to get this DON treatment???
Did he ever implement the full Press Pull therapy that included the use of the drug DON? How about HBOT?
He didn't take glutamine inhibitor
We need to push for research in this area metabolic therapy for treating cancer so that chemotherapy and radiotherapy are not the sole pathway.
What is Pablo’s relevant markers (IDH & MGMT methylation status)?

I have followed the keto/carnivore diet for the past year and at 67 yrs old my health has never been so good. Yesterday my dearest friend was diagnosed with this aggressive glioblastoma brain tumour. She is mostly vegetarian so how can I persuade her to eat keto - never mind carnivore. The general population think us carnivores are nuts. I don't want to spook her out, she's in terrible shock but I just wish i could persuade her to try this diet. Love to you Pablo xx
Maggie Jones was plant-based keto for a long time. She has a lot of recipes at her blog site:

Has anyone ever published a test for the metabolic approach to fight cancer on humans or have all tests only been done on animals? Do the results of animal tests carry over to the same results in humans?
There are not any completed clinical trials for keto and fasting. One is in Stage II at the moment, for keto and glioblastomas. But there is a TON of anecdotal evidence. I.e.case studies of individuals who have used these approaches.
It takes a lot of strong will to fight the system.
With my limited knowledge and experience, I would say that raw leaves pescaterian diet would probably help more than carnivore.
The main thing that people try to do is be in ketosis. How you get there is secondary.
RESPECT
So did you do chemotherapy and radiation? My mother is going to the same thing right now they moved 98% of it. I just need some help on the best treatment. Should we do radiation and chemo?
Check out this video at about 34 minutes in: ua-cam.com/video/SEE-oU8_NSU/v-deo.htmlsi=I-bHdVXn-eB3hFE9
In it Dr. Seyfried discusses some issues glioblastoma patients can have with radiation.
Thank you I will look into this video
Unfortunately he passed away last week due to a brain hemorage after another surgery.
What is ‘pulsing’? I heard dr seyfried refer to pulsing
@@CANCEREVOLUTIONdoc thanks for this. Husband has psa180 at last check. Prostate ca. which is one of the glutamine cancers 😞
Have you heard about the modified polio virus treatment for your caner? 60 minutes did a youtube video on it. Keto definetly will starve cancer. I hope mine is gone, stage 4 large B cell lymphoma. Godd luck.
How painful is Glioblastoma Multiform???
In some cases, not at all painful. My father was diagnosed with grade 4 GBM in June of 2023, with a lesion in his temporal lobe. Although it has impaired his speaking, he hasn't felt any pain, before or after the surgery.
The conventional treatment itself (temozolomide and radiotherapy) can cause more suffering than the tumor itself, from our experience.
Hope everything is well with you and your loved ones.
More money in RESEARCH than in a cure. Sad indeed😞
Every human being is born in ketosis
Dr. Burzynski specializes in this kind of cancer
Mitochondria are created by other mitochondria dividing. This happens when a cell divides. No new mitochondria are created by the body.
@@CANCEREVOLUTIONdoc where can i find the explanation?
Good luck any aha moments pass it on,Happy new yr too all
@@MrNickdino Google Bard has access to all UA-cam video transcripts and can produce a useful response to this question if you preface it with, "based on UA-cam videos that have Thomas Seyfried in them, " then type in your question.

What is plant based metabolic diet please can any one explain
A ketogenic diet doesn't have to have lots of (or any) meat. Veggies, nuts, avocados. Here is a starting point: cancerv.me/2019/04/21/best-diet-for-cancer-seed-and-soil/
