I've been using this for a year and this new update is fantastic. Thanks for doing a user group video session on this.
I'm really excited to see future videos about the different features and how to use them. For insurance, I have been using the app a little under a year now and have been out in the field with it 3 times. I've saved the area I was in for offline use before heading out but until this morning, I had no clue that the current layers I was viewing, were the ones being saved. Actually explains a lot! I cussed the app out a few times when I'd get out there and needed to switch layers but it wouldn't load. Now I understand why. I'm looking forward to more videos. Thanks again Randy!

Wow this been out for awhile now and I'm just installed it yesterday! Looks awsome to use and easy. 1 question had accurate is the property lines on it?

Had a great hunt this last week. Using the Onx Map allowed me to find and shoot a very nice 6x6 bull. Awesome hunt with great information to help make it successful. Recommend highly.

Randy, thank you for saying all your knowledge. Quick question for you. Recently I was hunting in Utah and have downloaded on my smart phone onxmaps. I saved offline my hunting area but ended up checking another place out as I got there. I had not saved that area previously and there was zero cell coverage. Is this where having the Garmin and the onxmap card comes in handy? When you are using that system does it give you all the details and layers that the phone app gives? Before I spend the money I am hoping to learn more. Thanks.
The chips only show surface ownership, not the many layers you will find available in your APP.
I've done a bunch of GIS coding over the years (ArcObjects and such) ... the upgrade is really nice. Really nice. Good work OnX!

Just bought the MT Premium map. Have never used them with the computer or phone app so trying to figure out how to use it all....these videos will help! Would love a good video on best practices for saving maps to your phone for out of service use.

I just downloaded the app for my iphone 7 .. I believe I had bought a card from them years ago for my Garmin? Really anxious to try the new features or layers.. Of course I always carry my Garmin Alpha because of the hounds ... Thanks good stuff

what is the chance of doing a "three state package", as I don't want to spend $100 a year to locate property lines, and I don't need the app for states I am not hunting.
What is the Wilderness Layer for? what does it mean?

How accurate is the map? I see the lines that go through fields that are posted. Just want to be sure.
My experience is that the map and APP is far more accurate than old fence lines.
I tried this app out on my phone last Spring turkey season. It worked great when I had cell service, but when I switched to offline mode I was unable to distinguish between public and private land (which is my sole reason for owning he app). I tried saving my maps in high resolution, etc. but was unable to figure it out. Is this app currently capable of doing what I'm wanting it to do and if so, how? Thanks.

I downloaded a map for offline but as soon as I go off line it’s just a gray screen. The map never pops in. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Yes, you are doing something wrong. Go to their website and watch the videos or contact their customer service. They have some great folks in CS.
I have to say the new layers are awesome. The trails layers are great for planning purposes. The new base map is not so great. A white base with white roads is pretty hard to use on a phone screen in the bright sunlight. It seems like OnX's goal is to put all of the map info into layers like the wilderness and USFS layers, but I sure miss my correctly shaded topo maps. As it stands I guess I'll just turn up the transparency on the USFS layer so I can make a faux shaded topo.
its to bad since i updated my onxhunt i have lost all my waypoints and when i try to use it in offline mode it just shuts down. looking for a new option, will not renew my membership

How come the promo code is not working?
It doesn't work for chips, only APP products. I just went in and used RANDY and it applied the promo discount.
interesting App. Just loaded and reviewing, will be spending quite a bit of time in Colorado Rockies. Caution for viewers thinking about spending time in burn areas. Beetle Kill trees along with the wildfires these buggers are widow makers, they are dropping with no warning. Wheres my OnX hunt Hat and shirt?
