Yeah you're right. Lesser demons probably aren't a great money maker now. The video was made a week before ed4 due to having a sponsor in it. An alternative money maker that I didn't mention is killing guards (either in varrock or falador). They drop grapes which are pretty decent gp/hr (roughly 1.5m/hr).
This is what I did before, was wondering why they suddenly didn't sell anymore. Luckily I got enough for a bond before ed4 came out to kickstart my membership. You could try spellwisps or water runes.
After hopping into RS3 since it basically came out, I discovered a great money-maker from smithing...you can do the math and find something for most bars, I assume, to accommodate your level, but if you have 50 smithing, you can buy rune bars and make unf bolts. 20 bars at 100k makes 1k bolts (u) that you can sell for nearly 4x the amount 0 made 380k off 100k investment and it takes only like 10-12min to smith 20 bars into bolts at varrock and sell at ge.
That’s what I am doing right now. I am currently mining the ores tho. So the process is extremely slow. But I am estimating a 600+ million profit once I am done with both my smithing and mining.
@Laura H crazy how much profit there is there...makes one wonder if it's like that for other skills. 50 smiting shouldn't be hard to get unless they made early game slower on RS3...just wish I wanted to actually play that version of runescape cause I know I could be rich on my old main.
@@skillfulactor09 no with the current level I was until 99, I would have made around 600 million profit. But this can depend on what price the arrowheads sell for. Hides to leather can actually net you roughly 12mil per hour, not 5. It's the best f2p way to make money, by far, that I've found. You just gotta use the lumbridge bank chest and put the crafter right next to it. Plus you gotta have a rhythm with your clicks and hotkeys. You can craft a little over 6k hides to leather per 5 minutes. If you buy all the hides in advance, you're golden. I usually buy 40k hides at a time and try to sell at a 200gp profit each. Just gotta listen to what he says about slow buying and selling. Don't insta-sell.

It seems that woodcutting Oak logs and/or Willow logs are okayish money. Magic note the logs and chop away. If I was to pick between Oak or Willow.
