- RuneScape 3 has an immense amount of content in it and 95% of it is locked behind membership. Despite this, F2P players in RuneScape 3 still do have some exciting content that they can try out before purchasing membership. In this video I will be showing you 7 things to do in RuneScape 3 as a F2P player.

The only 7 things I’ve seen many people do is only beg for bonds at the GE.

Adding bosses to F2p is the best thing Runescape 3 did. There's no fun in a mmorpg with no bosses.

I'd like to see an expansion to free to play. Increase the lvl cap for members skills to 40 and add a few ways to train them. There is a lot of stuff we don't need in members that can be useful for f2p.
Couldn't agree with you more !! Lvl 40 or even 50 is still hardly any XP, but opens up a lot of content. Jagex must learn that they must improve the f2p game to get more members.

It might even encourage f2p players to get membership because they would want to get member skills above level 40 to get the good stuff

I say up to Level 20 for mem skills. Not 40. When comes to equipment...I say..all the way up to T65 but only P2P can get them and sell them. So P2P are the suppliers, the dealers and the middleman while F2P are the buyers. You see guys the only reason why "T55 Gud Raider" stuff came into the game was because Jagex is too greedy and didn't want toss in T55 G Maul and G mace junk into F2p. What Jagex need to do is get rid of the "Corrupted Dragon crap" in f2p, give F2p full access to Dragon and change the dragon weapon quest requirement. Remember Dragon Slayer quest? Back then we need to do Dragon Slayer quest to be allowed to wear Rune Platebody(later on Blue Dragon Hide body and Mystic Robe T50) but later Jagex got rid of that so why not do the same thing for Dragon T60 junk?
You can teleport to KBD from Edgeville, there's a portal in front of the monks on the ditch. Use a gem bag to fill your inventory voids at Chaos Elemental. You can also scout goblin raids by opening your world map, goblin head = active raid, dwarf head = finished raid.

i tend to complete f2p quests first before buying membership
Clan Wars is one of the best things to do in F2P, even when you're already a member. It's practically the only place to find PvP fights instantly in 2022, there are other places but W3 Clan Wars is the easiest and most casual spot to get involved in PvP. Honestly, it's the only reason I even bother with this game anymore.

F2p pvp is actually better than members imo.
If fist of guthix was actually active the game would be a lot better for free to play

About the Runecrafting part.
I would recommend people to get 57 Runecrafting as F2P so they can do all the Lumbridge task/diaries. The Explorer Ring 4 is THE "best in slot" ring.
If you use food that leaves a dish behind, like pies, your inventory will remain full and you will remain fully equipped.

Hey, would you possible be willing to do a combat lvling guide/recommended training locations? not necessarily just for f2p but just in general. Recently managed to get a friend into rs3 but outside of ed3 trash runs there doesn't seem to be great lvling guides (or at least not relatively recently made ones)
I could look into making one of these. A few other great locations would be the abyss and abyssal demons
@@SilencedRS yeah, that's pretty much the only places I could really think about outside of ED3 trash runs. Anyways just figured it wouldn't be too bad of an idea since there'll probably be another wave of new players. Pretty much the only rs3 youtuber I watch so keep up the good videos

Thanks for this video. I've been debating whether or not if I should return to RuneScape but I wouldn't be a member, and I don't have enough gp to buy bonds
You can get 7 days of membership through twitch prime right now but it expires soon
Fletching is now f2p, & you can earn gp in no time to buy a bond. Yes its grindy, but once done you'll have your membership & can earn easy gp from there.
It's been 2 years and bonds do fluctuate a bit as our host said. That being so....the going rate for a bond is 60m

im a returning player and am trying to figure out what content to play as f2p
i have a f2p only hcim.. it’s so grindy i’m pretty much capped out on methods for training so not it’s just a slow long grind to 99… If you see a hcim in W3 Wildness now you know why. Gets boring😂🤣

i got my 1st bond from f2p should i use it or wait till i can max my f2p skill? and how to maintaint my bond after that since bond is skyrocket to 100m how can i save my 2nd bond ?
Congratulations on your first bond! I usually suggest completing all f2p quests and getting 50 rune crafting before moving to members but since it’s double xp for the next 10 days (starts tomorrow) it is a good time to use it.

Yeah if you find a good way to make gold in game you can get the chance to buy a bond. The bond shop actually offers a 14 day membership for just 1 bond, and there are more options available if you want a longer membership

1. Do quests cause nothing else in f2p is very engaging.
2. Get membership for the other enjoyable content (like big game Hunter and mid or high level pvm). Otherwise what are you training your skills for? Just for the sake of training them up?

I don't think the people suggesting they raise the f2p level cap are considering the effect it would have on the in game economy.

If you are very high end in your skills, you can make the money for that in a few hours in members. There are many end game ways to make over 10m per hour. Would be dumb to sit on 25m as f2p. You're just losing money by not getting a bond at that point.
