Lou's voice is timeless and really brings me to a place of childhood innocence and crushes on girls with tons of hairspray and Benetton sweaters. So wonderful he's still out there.
Lou Gramm is the best vocalist in rock and roll music. Things happen to us as we age, and we all lose a few things as we get older. Hell I'm not exactly what I once was either, but what we lose in time we make up for in other ways. That's how you become a winner in life, and that's what Lou is to me. A winner.
Just saw this video, this must be after his brain tumor journey, god bless his for trying and getting back out there. in my book, Lou Gramm is the greatest rock singer !!!!!!!!!!!
Getting old is hip and groovy, everyone is doing it... Thank you Warren Miller for the quote... And thank you Lou for the soundtrack that is a part of the fabric of our lives!!!
Wow, Lou still sounded amazing in this gig, even at 70 years of age. Incredible! Some of the best singers got vocally weak as they age yet Lou's voice is still a masterpiece AND that's bearing in mind he recovered from a brain tumour a few years ago and the side effects post-surgery. Even that couldn't stop this force of a man from his incredible singing! I can't say enough how much I LOOOVE his voice and he seems like such a lovely guy too. He needs to come and PLAY SOME GIGS IN THE UK, GODDAMIT ... Pretty Please !!!!! ;-)
Cat York, you are so right! I guess Lou will never come to the UK, and we shouldn't wish that travelling on him, but if he ever does, I'll be there rocking on to his still-superb voice.
@@melelenath He's so on my Must F***ing See Live list! He just has that magical something in his voice (the huskiness with softness, etc) that never fails to get me every time I hear him. Foreigner was never the same once they lost him! I hope Lou realizes how beloved and hugely respected he is around the world.
@@catyork6070 Well said about the quality of Lou's voice: husky and soft, and yet so much drive and those incredible high notes too! Gets me. Every. Damn. Time 🥲 Does he realise what we fans feel about him (and how respected by fellow musicians)? I guess he must do, and that keeps him fighting back against his health issues. I fear that for that reason he won't ever let up on himself though, and he's already had one hospitalisation for exhaustion. If I could message him, I would say 'Dear Lou, we want to see you, but not at the expense of your health - take care!!!' Do you belong to the fan club? It's a great place to get links to videos and photos and talk about favourite tracks, gigs and all that.
Hi there! Thank you for posting this! My God, it's spectacular! I like this wonderful rocker and this wonderful person over 28 years! It seems that the strong battle is won. God bless you, dear Lou, you spread so much warmth as ever. The good man begins from the inner light. Best wishes from Russia!
You,Lou are the same today ❤ Thanks for you giving your time to us,Fans ❤🥰We dont talk about it...Lovely song..and all you give today❤ You will be back again....Greatfull Marie 🥰🙋♀️
Lou Gramm, your voice is so awesome. You were made for singing and this song sounds awesome! Still sung with the same deep meaning as written then, holds true now. Great band, too. Thank you but seriously, fire this camera man. Feel lucky, he got the whole show, sorta.
@@lucasmellencamp Great response man. I enjoyed and appreciate the post. Really good audio and can see how far Lou came. He and the band sound good. Thanks again for the post.
Thank you for this video .good to hear Lou Gramm belt it out .He may not sound the same.as 40 years ago.but he still got a good voice.one of the alltime greats.Rock on Lou
Lou Gramm out there bangin' like a real OG! Y'all punk ass studio gangstas can't hold a grain of stand to Lou's tallent. After all Lou's been through, he's still droppin' Benjamins while y'all chumps reppin half an ounce!!!!!!!
Lou’s voice is the best…and one thing I love about him is that he and his band keep it real and don’t cheat their fans like kiss or Motley Crue… two bands I’ve lost respect for just because of their dishonesty to their fan base
Growing up I much preferred the songs by Foreigner to even that of iconic bands like Def Lepard. But the difference in how they treated one another has translated not only to their longevity as a band but also to their commercial success. As talented as he might have been, Mick Jones is everything about the music business I detested... Each man for himself. Lou Gramm could and would have made almost any band a huge success.
When you’re one of the greatest singers of all time even if you’re 75% of what you used to be, you’re still great.
Fuck yeah
We get what we get and I’m never dissatisfied.
Well put
J agree 100% Marie in Sweden..Lou ❤🙋♀️
The same boy and Man Today..Love you Lou ❤ Marie 🥰🙋♀️
IMO there would never be a FOREIGNER without Lou Gramm. No way. He was Foreigner.
Lou had a brain tumor and had to work through that rough patch in his life. Sounds damn good for going through hell. Lou's the man.
He,Lou is Still the same ❤ Back Again...Thanks för Listening to you...Master Man,LOU ❤ 🥰🙋♀️
One of the best voices to have ever graced the airwaves. Lou was a class act 40 years ago, and still is to this day!
Lou gramm still a brilliant singer 😅😊
Thanks for still being out there, you bring us all back to a better time in life.
🎵Lou's fierce here, band's Great!!! ❤
Thats what you call an Organic, Classic, rocker. With the singer that sang and wrote it. Placing his stamp on it!
He also came up with the chords.
He didn't give up and it's paying off
Lou Lives His Life for Jesus!! He is truly unique, amazing, blessed, gifted, awesome!!
Lou's voice is timeless and really brings me to a place of childhood innocence and crushes on girls with tons of hairspray and Benetton sweaters. So wonderful he's still out there.
Still singing in the original key. Very impressive. His pitch is also spot-on

I actually got to see Lou Gramm live a few years back and after his voice warmed up, he did Midnight Blue. Something to remember and treasure.

That was an enjoyable video! Too bad the crowd didn't recognize a great song and great singer.
They were right in the pouring rain. They seemed to be on board to some extent but perhaps they don't have Lou's stamina and determination?
Love ya lou and Foreigner when you were the big part of it.

Damn. He got old. Takes some brass gnads to get up there and do that at 70.
Yep still breathing
What do you expect? EVERYONE gets old but Lou can still out-sing many, many vocalists young or older.
