I'm 66 and well past my prime. Can't even begin to explain how much this song meant to me when I was young. I still have most of their albums and this song brings me to tears every time.
Ten years behind you man and act like I'm 25, with the health to back it up. But I feel it. It's coming. Waits for no man. I had a passionate girlfriend when I was 17, and this song was turned to the proper level when I parked under the tree line up off the side road. Whew, look what you did to me Lou! I married that girl!
I discovered Lou Gramms legendary voice for the first time when i was 14, working in my dads shop with him on an engine, and over his high end sound system IWTKWLI came on, and ive been obsessively listening to him ever since, almost every day since then. I am now 25 with my own soundsystem in my own house that plays lou gramms voice constantly. This man has changed my life and his legendary voice and songs speak to my soul more than anyone else. 😊
As of making this comment I see 1,700 likes and 7 dislikes. There's obviously still a lot of good feelings for Lou Gramm. And considering having to recover from having a brain tumor operation and learning to talk and walk again, he is sounding mighty fine. Respect to Lou Gramm.

I was fortunate enough to see Johnny Winter 2 years before he died . He had to sit in a chair and play . He wasnt at the top of his game but it was great to see him play .
Lou's voice has held up remarkably well given the decades that separate him from the original studio sessions, not to mention health issues. I'm super impressed.

One of the greatest of all time, and it makes my heart happy to see him still out there performing. I hope that I finally get to see him in person someday!

Thank you Lou Gramm for giving me a lot of great memories to look back on when I was growing up. I hear your voice and I’m instantly brought back to that wonderful time.
I can't believe he can still even come this close to singing such a difficult song. That song isn't easy to sing. Very hard to keep hitting those notes over and over and over without your voice giving out. It takes a LOT of practice and physical health to keep pulling that off after 45 years or however long it's been. Like half a century basically. And yet he can still pretty much do everything he could back then despite his body trying to shut down. This is truly amazing stuff. The passion comes from his strong spirit inside him. His body says no, but his spirit says oh yes you will too!
Not sure when this performance was actually done but really has me wishing Lou had sung all the songs at the Hall-of Fame show. So glad he’s still doing it. Don’t worry about being exactly what you were so many years ago. The tone is there, the sound is there and more than anything the soul is there. Shit…still sounds great to me.
You are the best my friend! God Bless you for the amazing, wonderful voice he has given you. Thank you so much for all the amazing music you have given us.
