- In this video, we take look at the interior space of the 2023 BMW X1. To test its cabin space, we asked four adults to sit inside the new X1. The new 2023 BMW X1 has grown compared to the model it replaces.
More specifically, the new BMW X1 gained an extra 43 mm (1.7 inches) in length, measuring 4,500 mm (177.2 inches), with 23 mm (0.9 inches) of them added between the axles resulting in a 2,692 mm (106 inches) wheelbase.
Sitting at the back, two adults should have no problem. The new BMW X1 feels larger than the previous model, with sufficient legroom and plenty of headroom.

I think the guy behind him is 6"2. So it all depends how much room he wanted to give him. It's still an X1, it won't have the space of an X3

Small SUV
It's does. The tall guy in the backs seems to be intentionally not sitting straight up to show more head room.
Do the same test on a 2023 RAV4 or a Skoda Kodiaq or a Peugeot 3008 and you’ll find out how small the new X1 is….

Tough to know whether these men on the back seat are 180-190cm which is a normal height back here or rather 170-175cm. I suspect the latter. Makes a difference when even my wife is 179cm… but well, need to test drive in any case

@@blazesmooth5573 yes what i meant is there is not enough leg room for those people in the video not thr viewers? How do i know the viewers heights. Might not be enough legroom for me but enough legroom for you and vice versa. But I'm referring to the people in the video. They definitely have not enough legroom.
The rear space of buying a car also depends on the height of the family
I have the 2016 X1 and it is the worst vehicle I have ever owned as far as space goes. I had more room in my Nissan Maxima. A great looking vehicle and the Xdrive is a solid system but other than that this vehicle is not great if you are tall, have kids or want to be comfortable on long rides.
