When you take scraps out to the chickens, can you take us along sometimes? I love watching their excitement at the bounty.
The new website is beautiful and easy to navigate. I LOVE that there are no annoying ad or sign-up pop-ups. Josh did a great job. The print button worked flawlessly.
❤🎉
Yes but it will probably come soon I love her
Josh has done a wonderful job with this website. It was certainly worth the wait. Nothing but wishes of continued success to you and your family.
Brilliant job Josh the new website is not only beautiful but brilliantly put together. Well worth waiting for. Easy to navigate and print button is great. Lucky girl Becky to have a husband like Josh who can do things like this for you. I'm sure he knows how much we all appreciate what he's done for you and for us xx
Great job Josh for website. You two make such a great team!
As a fellow Washingtonian (living along those fault lines like we do), you really need to secure your shelving and jars to withstand earthquakes. It would be a shame to lose your food storage…and it wouldn’t take a very big quake to cause everything on those shelves to fall off.
We had 2 huge earthquakes in Dec 2022 and Jan 2023. Everything in my kitchen cupboards crashed to the floor! We put those rollers on the doors with the accompanying closure. My husband built the lips for our food on shelves in the garage. I also bought museum putty to hold things down. It was a sad and expensive occurrence.
Your new website is SPECTACULAR ❤ Josh did a phenomenal job. I saw it yesterday and it blew my mind. 😊
Wow, thank you!
Beautiful🎉
Agree. I think I’ve left a comment a couple times saying how much I love the new website. Thanks Josh.
I’m so excited to see the new website.
If you let the tomatos from the freezer defrost when you are ready to use them, the skins come right off! It’s such a time saver!! 🍅🍅
Love your videos 🩷
When I saw your baby wipes, I actually remembered that you had a baby 😂. I’m so happy you don’t feel pressured to show your baby or make him a part of your channel. People can become entitled online and bring unnecessary negativity into your space, especially when it comes to raising a child and that just not something that anyone, especially now, needs more of. So I’m happy to see you thriving and enjoying life and also freely choosing to decide how you want your channel without some of the pressures some mothers would feel when having a platform. 💕
Agree w/ all that y’said but can’t help but wanna actually see the baby once! Everyone usually loves to see new baby!! 💖🥰
Becky this funnest thing happened this morning... I've been watching you for years... I have been telling my daughter about your canning and gardens for a long time, and how much I have learned... Now I live in Alabama and she is in Vermont. She’s a travel nurse. she calls me this morning, telling me about acres Homestead... I told her oh I know Becky I’ve been watching her for years, and by the home... She's moving back here and we’re going to Living on aa farm!!! We can't wait to start our garden and we will be using your ideas the whole time.... Keep making your wonderful videos!!!!
Josh did a phenomenal job on your new website! It is absolutely beautiful and I LOVE how easy it is to search for all the different recipes you’ve shared over the years!
I just put the unpeeled ginger in a small freezer bag. When I need ginger, I just pull out a piece, scrape a little peeling off, and grate what I need. Grates easily while frozen. Just put the rest of piece back in bag and back in freezer. Haven't wasted any since I started doing this.
I love watching you preserve all your fresh produce.
For pepper abundance:
Roast the peppers
Peel off the skins
Make a brine of lemon juice olive oil and vinegar
Add peppers to a jar add brine
Water bath can them
It's great for snacking, adding to salads, or making cheese
Save the peals from the ginger and add it to your tea especially if you're having colds or stomach upset. Just place it in a tea ball . I mince it up and stick it in the freezer . I do green tea, ginger, and honey
Thank you!
I LOVE the print button on the new website, and Josh did such an amazing job! Thanks for sharing so many wonderful recipes!
Agreed. I saw it yesterday 🎉😊
Glad you like them! I will tell you enjoy it!
@@AcreHomesteadHello Becky, hello, how do I receive the emails????
Who else finds it so satisfying to get a bulk order and organize everything!? It seems to really scratch an itch 😂 CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming projects! 💚💚💚
1/ month vs every 2-3 months: You have more food storage space and it is better organized than it was in the last house. I think the past couple of pantry challenges have also taught you what you use in which quantities plus developed more of a "use what you have" approach. I think that some of your current food preservation effort could/ should reduce some of your Azure purchases as well. So yes, it doesnt surpise me that your Azure hauls are smaller and fewer.
I order every 6-months. I love the frequency of your videos. I appreciate it. It gives me so many ideas on canning, cooking and gardening.
You are so welcome! Thank you!
I am new to all of this, but I am learning so much from these videos, the website, and all about homesteading. Love it
Love the channel
Love your family
Love your energy
Love the website
Just absolutely amazing. I hope you're so proud of yourself 🙏
Oh Becky, I just watched your L&D, post partum videos. I am a retired Ob/gun. Last baby delivered 10 years ago. You were awesome and experienced most of the complications of your experience except seizure and stroke. Even as a physician, I think delivery is traumatic. Your doctor and nurses were awesome. Most likely, your next delivery will be normal😮. BTW, we have grown much if our own food. I am amazed at your garden yields.
Awesome info thanks for sharing!
I am so looking forward to your dough recipe freezer guide! The updated website is amazing! Thank you Josh! ❤️
Becky, you don't need to peel ginger, just grate it, the skin doesn't come through. I keep my fresh ginger in the freezer and grate as much as I need straight from frozen and put it back in the freezer, Ginger peels is also good for your chickens, it aids their digestion. By the way, WOW to the new website, love it.
I never peel mine off. Many nutrients in the ginger skin
I do not peel my ginger either.
Use binder clips to secure your parchment paper to the baking sheets. Keeps it from slipping around. The new website is so nice. Thanks Josh.
I typically buy ginger and will freeze the whole root and grate as needed. Processing it all at once and freezing it into little pucks is brilliant!! Thank you to whoever suggested it and thank you Becky for showing us how to do it :)
can also use an ice cube tray
I like to make a garlic ginger paste and make cubes to freeze. Then store. Some people will add onion to the paste but I think it makes it a little watery. So I just use ginger garlic paste and add onion if needed. Also grandkids not fan of onion...but don't complain of just garlic ginger. 😂
I also freeze the whole ginger root and grate as needed. Lasts indefinitely, so easy.
Thank you for the tip on peeling ginger, I’ll have to try that next time.
I freeze whole ginger and turmeric. When I want to use either of them I just grate it straight into the pot.
Finding previously forgotten goods is one of the best feelings in the world! The little things are definitely what makes everyday life great. Right after warming up from a cold day or peeing after holding it in, haha.
Hi Becky,
I have been watching your videos for a few months and I always enjoy them. I just wanted to share something that might be helpful. Growing up in the carribean my grandmother always grew her our ginger for tea and baking. If you plant a piece of the ginger it will grow and you can also use the leaves to make tea.
What a great time of year to have the hostess class released!! It gives everyone plenty of time to get ready for the holidays!
I love the new website! Honestly the recipes are nicely laid out and so easy on the eyes.
Very excited every time I see a new video. Love ya’all❤️🤗🙏
For anyone interested in making the farmhouse style cream cheese at home, you can strain yogurt to become the texture of cream cheese easily. I make homemade yogurt by culturing 1/2 galon of milk with 6 Tbsp of purely cultured yogurt (look for something with JUST cultures like Faye or Costco's Greek Yogurt). Let this cultured milk sit in a warm place for 6-8 hours to get thick (the longer it sits, the tangier it gets). Once you like where the yogurt is at, you can pour into a cheesecloth lined strainer and allow to drain in the fridge overnight. You'll get a texture very similar to cream cheese that tastes so delicious on toast, or just eaten as is.
Thank you for sharing your recipe.
@@teeteepimentalrogers4386 of course! If you decide to try it, I'd love to know how it turns out for you 😊
LOVE the new website, thank you soooo much!!
love your new website it's so nice to be able to print out your fantastic recipes! Great job Josh! :)
Hope you all are having an amazing week and that baby A is getting big and healthy ❤
Thanks so very much!
Wait what? I didn't see a picture of the baby. Tell me what mark it is at!
@@barbaraanderson2060 There is no picture. I was just wishing Becky that her baby is growing big and healthy.
you will never see her kid she doesn't film him
@@barbaraanderson2060
@@barbaraanderson2060Becky is not going to show him. That's just what it is. Ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
Congratulations on your new website! It is amazing!!!
Website looks & maneuvers beautifully. Thanks Josh !
Your full shelves with your home canned foods inspires me! This year I've canned more than any other year. I can totally see how you find joy in preserving food. Instead of feeling tired at the end of the day I sometimes feel so energized because I know I'm providing food for my growing family.
Excellent website. Thank you Josh! Thank you Becky!!
Love the new website! You two work so well together! Can’t wait to see what’s coming up!😊
Love love love the new website!!!! Thank you Josh!

All I can say is WOW! You did it again. Your organization skills are phenomenal. I love the way that you think things out out loud. Seems more decisive that way. Congrats to you and your Mom on the new e-course and to you on the bread course. I haven't been to the new website yet (I know, bad me) but I will when I have time to thoroughly enjoy. I know Josh put in a lot of time and love and I'm sure it sshows. Thanks for letting us hangg out with you. Off to catch up on some work while I find the next video.

Thank you for making me feel like I can do it too. Even if it doesn't work like I think it should, I still try. I'm grateful for you!!!!!
Wow the website looks great! Fantastic job, Josh! It goes quickly from page to page, crisp clear pictures and print. I love it! Becky, watching you is so relaxing for me. Takes me back in a time when I canned and grew my own vegetables. Great video! Great haul! and you work hard so you deserve a little treat when you want. 💖💖
The new web site is fantastic!!!!! Thank you Josh and Becky🤗
Loving your updated website! I love how I can search by ingredient and it brings up all your recipes that have that ingredient. This is a game change in helping me meal prep based on what I have on hand! Kudos to you and Josh!! 🤩
The website is absolutly beautiful. It looks so chique and simple. Josh you did an awesome job.
Great job on the website!! Good job Josh!
I love the new website - especially the print button! I can't wait to get the newsletter about making dough for the freezer!
Everything Bagel seasoning is amazing! I use it on salads, avocado toast, topping baked rolls and bagels, of course! Thanks for the video, Becky!
Website is great! I really appreciate the print recipe button. I am English and sometimes need to work out equivalent ingredients that I can buy here (or measurements) and call me old fashioned, but I like a paper copy 😁
Thank Josh and Becky the website looks awesome and thanks for the update❤
I love the new website so beautiful. Thank you Josh.
Hi Becky, hi Friends! Blessed afternoon to you guys!
The new website is amazing Becky! Josh did a fantastic job! So happy I can finally print out your recipes. Looking forward to the hosting course!
❤❤❤❤love the new web page looks so good Josh did great
I'm so excited for your e-course! I'm pretty sure I'm subscribed to your newsletter, but I did it again just to be sure! I don't want to miss it!
I just bought some freeze dried oregeno out of the little jar, and when i opened it up and smelled it, it was fantastic! Like no oher herb I have smelled before. So fresh smelling!!
I just checked out scratch pantry. Josh did a fantastic job on it. God Bless him for the love and support he provides to you and baby Acre.
Love the new website! Josh did a great job. Love watching your UA-cam videos. I need to try some of your recipes soon.
i definitely love the new site!! love that you can print it now
I’m moving soon and will be near an Azure drop location. Can’t wait to use them. Thanks for all the good ideas of what to order Becky!
YAY! Good luck with the move!
Hi Becky and everyone. Strawberries, basil and balsamic vinegar (thicker or glaze consistency) is also amazing! I have even added feta cheese sometimes it’s delicious. Great video ❤
I just signed up for your newsletter. I am so excited about your things to come.
I love what you have done with your new website!! Thank you so much for all you do. Love watching.
We made cucumber chips in the freeze dryer this year, just sliced thin and seasoned and they turned out crispy healthy chips, You can also do the zucchini like that too!
I tried Azure’s cheeses recently. I haven’t tried them all, but the ones I have, the melting quality is amazing! And their prices have gone up in the last two months. I tried the Graziers brand from them. It’s not as vibrant in color, but it is still tasty and costs significantly less.
Magnificent job on the website Josh and Becky! Wow🙌🏻🌟
Visited your new webpage after watching video…of course! Very nice and organized. Easy to navigate. Thanks, Josh! 👍🏼
Peeling ginger with a spoon is definitely the easiest way for small amounts. I’m loving the idea of making them into pucks, but I would have saved even more time and whizzed them up with the skin on as well. The ginger skin adds even more spicy flavour 😋
I leave the skins on as well. Easy peasy!
I’m here for you and your Moms course. It sounds amazing.
YAY! I am excited about it!
My jalapeno pepper plants were quite prolific this year and I remembered your garlic pucks! Love this method. Also doing the garlic and have ginger flash freezing right now. Ty!
Love love the new website. I love being able to print recipes. Josh knocked it out of the park!
Just took plain yogurt organic bananas, and peanut butter and made ice cream for my dog. You put it in a ice cube tray in your freezer. She loved it but I made sure I used everything organic. Yeah it’s expensive but she’s worth it.
This year I watched Jag at Daisy Creek Farms showing how to grow your own ginger, and I did it! I haven't unearthed my treasures but the plant itself smells amazing in the garden and hopefully I will get the amount you purchased, from planting a few pieces in my zone 6B garden! It's very similar to growing potatoes.
It will be the best ginger you have ever tasted! Enjoy
The website is beautiful! Josh did a great job! Can’t wait to cook my way through it! 🤗
Loved the way you processed the ginger. Gonna give it a try. Thanks Becky
Love your videos! You can also use a little dill on deviled eggs rather than paprika. 💕
That’s so funny my husband will not eat deviled eggs unless they are sprinkled with paprika.
Just a tip about cheese storage. Open your cheese... cut it into ~1 lb chunks ....seal individual chunks in Foodsaver bags ... refrigerate....the individual packages will last about the same amount of time as the original unopened package would...no shredding or freezing necessary. Hope this is helpful 😊
Great tip! My grandma would do this with cheese and lunch meat.
Agree!
Beautiful website! Yay Josh 🎉Love the idea of a seamless print button. Thanks for such wonderful, informative videos.
The new website is fabulous! I can’t wait to try some of the yummy recipes!
Could you show the chickens getting their goods sometime? I like watching them run for it. Lol.
I enjoy your channel very much. I also want to commend you for protecting your child from social media! You are 100 percent right in keeping your child off camera. :) New recipe site looks great.
Thank you so much for the ginger idea!
The new website looks AWESOME!!! :)
Becky, it makes my heart sore that you don't buy yourself the cans of water you love so much on a regular basis. 😢 You absolutely deserve it
The new website is amazing, well done! Thank you for sharing these recipes with us all
Your new website is beautiful!! And printable too. Well done, Josh. For some reason I fell off the newsletter list so I joined again.
I had a chance to look through the new website and it is amazing! It’s really easy to get around on and I love that we can print the recipes. Please let Josh know that I think he did a fantastic job! 💯➕➕
You are amazing, Becky! Love, love the joys you exude. Blessings to you, Josh and your little one.
