Just stumbled across this video and loved it. My daughter always asks me how they do the round hay bales and it was wonderful to be able to show her your video.
Old Appalachian tip here: Put a clean terracotta pot shard in a glass of water overnight. Take out and put on top of that brown sugar. It keeps the brown sugar from getting hard. About every 6 weeks, soak the terracotta shard in a glass of water overnight again. Loving your video's. I'm originally from East Tennessee, but live in Missouri now. An honest question here... I don't remember anyone using the round balers in the Appalachia's when I was working as a little kid on everyone's farms. Why did everyone move to the round balers? Even now I still prefer square bales over the round bales. They're just easier to work with for us. (Just an opinion.)
