When I saw you’d chosen top of the line plywood for the wood in the closet, I thought you might stain it, but after watching this episode (2), my thought was all that money just to paint. . But since it’s very obvious you know exactly what you’re doing, my needing to save a few bucks, shouldn’t make me judge your choice. You’ve done an amazing job from start to finish on the closet. I’m sure your mom is very proud of you, and her new closet.

Very clean and organized effect! You always do such a wonderful job. I used a peel and stick wallpaper for several rooms in our house: it's so convenient that now I want to use it in the kitchen.
This was my first time installing wallpaper and I was nervous. We previously had wallpaper in the house and it was a pain to take down, so I was hesitant at first.
We had a house with wallpapered plaster walls. We never did remove it because we were afraid the plaster would need to be repaired. We eventually sold that place and now I have wood paneling 😠
Love the touch with the gold mirror on the wallpaper, really set everything off I can't believe my ears, did you say that was your FIRST time building a dresser?! Wow that didn't look like a first time result, awesome job!

Thank you! I didn't take any classes to learn how to use tools. I'm self-taught. I started teaching myself by doing small projects and watching a lot of UA-cam videos.

Yeah. I spent around $1200 on the closet. The was the most expensive, which was $800.

Hey Mia! Love these videos. I have some experience helping out my mother in law with custom woodwork but im a complete amateur at doing my own projects (unless putting together furniture from Wayfair/ Ikea counts lol). Im tackling my closet & wanted to know what i could replace pocket holes with in order to connect some shelving units. Thank you!
Honestly pocket holes were the easiest method without seeing the screws. You could also use a nail gun but you would most likely have to put it together outside the closet.
@@RemodelHandz I don’t have a pocket hole jig, do you think it’s eyeball-able without one ? Thanks btw!
I don’t think it would be eyeball-able. The jig helps to create the pockets for the screw to sit in. I bought my first pocket hole jig for $20. It’s the pocket hole jig 310. You could also drill the screws in from the outer part of the wood, but they would show.
