What a great video. Couldn't find how to do this anywhere, this is so clearly explained. Thanks so much!

I wanted to set up Drum Sequencer in Reason Rack and use it trigger Umpf drums AND record the MIDI drum notes to Ableton all at the same time. I found out that you have to set up the Drum Sequencer/MIDI OUT combination on one track of Ableton, and the actual drum unit on a different Ableton track in order to achieve this. You can't go Drum Sequencer-Umpf Drums-MIDI out in one single rack because Umpf drums doesn't let the MIDI signals pass through. Maybe someone at Reason Studios can fix this.

Thanks for the video but I got a very simple problem. In Ableton, I only have one midi track with the Reason Rack plugin. Inside the plugin, I added an ID8 instrument to have a piano sound. When I play on my midi keyboard, I can hear the piano just fine. Then I added a Scales and Chord player inside the plugin. When I play on my keyboard, the player has no effect. I can only hear the ID8. In fact, whatever player (Bassline Generator, Dual ARP, etc.) I add, it has no effect on the instrument I have inside the plugin. Any idea? thanks
