I hope this helps many decide how they want to invest and why the pros choose certain brands. It's critical in the design process to budget things to cover all the aspects of what you need to do so that you're satisfied with what you bought.
Some people are satisfied with just replacing parts and getting rid of rotten old tech, others want the ability to tune things to their music preferences. Don't measure all the pro's on the same experience level. Do your homework!
