I'm sure someone has already said it but if you didn't know you don't have to die as Doctor Strange for the achievement. The first time you activate the portal you will have the option that says "press___ to reposition" which will allow you to move the first portal then the second one.

I'm aware of this and I was shocked to see so many who falsely advertised that they did. This sort of behaviour has been happening a lot the past several months and I make it a point to always get the platinum cuz that's what I want to be known for.

Tip for those going for wolverines trophy 1.) his ult does more damage if u have berserk rage filled and. 2.) if the enemy team has an adam warlock use your ult when he does that’s how i got it bc they all spawn at half health.
8:35 that's a skill issue. You can kick enemies away from you, and stun them. You could also hip fire the sniper instead of scoping in with a flanker in your face. Most maps are played with minimal verticality so aiming at head level does most of the work for you.
It was my last Platinum Hunt for 2024. Although I enjoyed this Hunt unfortunately quite a few of the Trophies was a total pain as it was very much a matter of luck to find the right opportunity. But in the end, it was worth it 😁
The absolute worst thing about this platinum is thinking you got it just tk find out at the end you didn't, the fact you havr to wait till the end is crazy. And you cant even swich characters after you do it. I had to do squirrel girl twice because i decided to go for a different trophie after i killed 3 people, (this was befor the buff meaning i had to get 3 people with Rng bounces and do it with getting all 3 kills, took me so long)
Little tip for black widow: From what I’ve noticed if you get a headshot, the enemies name should pop up in red. If not, it’s not a headshot. The clip of you thinking you got the headshots has zero lol But glad you pulled through in struggling with black panther rn
Also I wanna note to anyone doing the platinum, for the achievements that require assist or revives, as far as I’m aware it DOES NOT have to be in a single game. If that was the case the achievement description would say that. They’re accumulative, so over time after a few games should do the trick. Also the ones requiring 3+ kos with a single ult or on specific maps are the most annoying ones so I’d recommend doing those asap so you can breeze through the rest
Right the trophies are NOT bugged in this game has 3 different kill types: final blow kills (u got the kill), the kill icon with a slice in it (you got majority of the damage but someone else gets the kill) and assist (you done the lesser damage). For trophies in this game you need only need the first two kill types unless it state otherwise.
I feel that matt doesn't really understand how trophies in this game truly work. So here's the thing every single trophy like magneto, scarlet or starlord are accumulative over multiple games. Achievements that demand you to do something in 1 game or during one ultimate use are capped at 3 k.o max, examples being ( wolverine, cap, iron fist, etc ). And a good amount of other trophies the easiest on the game except for thor are based on a dammage multiple targets with are ultimate, ( moon knight, jeff iron man ) and b specific actions of certain heroes, ( venom, adam, penny etc ). If you understand what you need to do with each hero it really comes down to 3 trophies. Thor cuz his ult takes for ever to land so combo it with groot. Cap cuz his ult doesn't grant any damage buffs and his dammage is terrible so combo him with groot. Wolverine cuz his ult doesn't deal enough dammage in area to kill 3 people on it so combo with groot. And that's about it every thing else is pretty easy.
you need to understand that when I was going for many of these trophies there was either little to no information on the trophies at the time and by the time that there was I didn't feel the need to look any of them up. If it seems like I wasn't understanding it's because I wasn't 😅 and because this isn't a guide It doesn't matter if I know what the exact requirements or not, this is just my documented experience.
@GawdlikeMatt absolutely no question about it. I already have the plat and I barely used guides myself only for the characters I struggled with cap and wolverine these two are hell. Idk just throws you off a bit but nonetheless great job as always. Also widowmaker achievement demands 3 critical hits for k.o not 3 headshots. The more you know I guess 🙂

I play black widow for 2 hours, to get the trophy and the funny part is that i do the wolverine , cap americans in like 30 min each of those Another thing for some of the trophies you just need to do enough damage to the enemy and not attack them afterwards, if an ally of yours kills them it counts as your kill too
Still working on this platinum. For some reason I got a few with no issues. But I've been trying to do thor and punisher back and forth and I can't seem to get them. Same with squirrel girl.
I watched someone try to do it first week of launch and he couldn’t complete it in time he had like one super hard trophy left the trophies in this game are insane like wolverines the guy I watched struggled hard to get that one

For this game's trophies you will need more luck than skill. I still haven’t finished every achievement, but I got some “difficult trophies” on my 1st try (Cloak & dagger and captain America) and can’t get Thor's. I would say that it requires 51% luck and 49% skill

I hate the black panther trophy. Trying to find the map is so hard and always getting double kills and your partners steal your kills. I just have that and the magneto trophy which I'll get over time. Just that black panther trophy is annoying Me the most.
I'm thirty minutes in the video but to explain why you got iron fists trophy. your first kill was an assist and assists count as kills in this game. So even though you technically didn't finish off your first opponent it still counted towards the trophy. The only trophies that you specifically need the killing blow for are hela and black panther. Congrats on the plat matt it's a bucket of bullshit and rng :)
I'm glad that this game has a 0.1% on getting the platinum bc,, this is the worst PVP game to plat as there's tryhards that can beat new people up. Rivals should make the trophies easier to have them on bots on easy, not having bots in easy that's actually hard like...y'know, y'know. I'm not REALLY interested into Rivals bc no one really want me to get the trophies.
Sounds like you just want to be handed rewards without having to put any real effort. People wanna win, it's a competitive game. If you wanna see results you'll have to work for it, this is a 'you' problem.
I only have 4 left: Magneto (3/10) Wolverine Captain America Cloak & Dagger Captain America is stupidly difficult. No damage boost and the ult barely lasts. Wolverine I just need to learn better. Cloak & Dagger I play as over and over getting MVP often, but never get team wipe. Magneto is easy. When my team mates decide to pick Mutants and leave Magneto for the taking. I feel like I need to lock Magneto and change if nobody picks Mutants. Also: 1. Scarlet Witch does not count as Mutant as no game with her even with multiple assists raise the count in the achievement in game. 2. It's not 10 assists, but 10 games assisting Mutants. I learned this as I recently got Storm on my team and noticed 2 assists that Storm got the KO for and it only added 1 more on the counter. 3. I only know for sure Storm and Wolverine counts. The game doesn't tell you even though Scarlet Witch, Magik (New Mutants has Mutants in the name) and Psylocke should count as well Scarlet Witch never adds to the counter and Psylocke either I didn't get an assist or another mutant was there. And Magik I believe doesn't count either.
When you said "unless you're a god at squirrel girl" the way I smiled. I got her trophy numerous times you could say 😂. Shes my main I got punishers trophy by killing them with the grenade, its just glitchy

I got the Platinum for Marvel Rivals the hardest achievements were for Captain America and Wolverine but thankfully i got lucky getting them.

Trophies are kinda weird because a KO doesn't mean you have to do the last hit. Only do enough damage to count.

The game counts some assists as KOs even if you don't land the final hit, it's if you do the most damage to said opponent (I believe, could be wrong)

I won't from 45 minutes on Thor to 14.6 hours on him 😭 but I am luckily part of the .1%, final achievement was Mantis. Feels good

Got the Plat a few days ago for me wolverine and Thor were the absolute worst. Took me roughly 48 hours to plat.

I'm thirty minutes in the video but to explain why you got iron fists trophy. your first kill was an assist and assists count as kills in this game. So even though you technically didn't finish off your first opponent it still counted towards the trophy. The only trophies that you specifically need the killing blow for are hela and black panther. Congrats on the plat matt it's a bucket of bullshit and rng :)
As long as you get credit for k.o it counts. You don't have to be the killer.

I'm glad that this game has a 0.1% on getting the platinum bc,, this is the worst PVP game to plat as there's tryhards that can beat new people up.
Rivals should make the trophies easier to have them on bots on easy, not having bots in easy that's actually hard like...y'know, y'know. I'm not REALLY interested into Rivals bc no one really want me to get the trophies.
Sounds like you just want to be handed rewards without having to put any real effort. People wanna win, it's a competitive game. If you wanna see results you'll have to work for it, this is a 'you' problem.
Stay out of multiplayer games. Platinum isn't supposed to be easy and handed to you just for playing

Captain America is stupidly difficult. No damage boost and the ult barely lasts.
Wolverine I just need to learn better.
Cloak & Dagger I play as over and over getting MVP often, but never get team wipe.
Magneto is easy. When my team mates decide to pick Mutants and leave Magneto for the taking. I feel like I need to lock Magneto and change if nobody picks Mutants. Also:
1. Scarlet Witch does not count as Mutant as no game with her even with multiple assists raise the count in the achievement in game.
2. It's not 10 assists, but 10 games assisting Mutants. I learned this as I recently got Storm on my team and noticed 2 assists that Storm got the KO for and it only added 1 more on the counter.
3. I only know for sure Storm and Wolverine counts. The game doesn't tell you even though Scarlet Witch, Magik (New Mutants has Mutants in the name) and Psylocke should count as well Scarlet Witch never adds to the counter and Psylocke either I didn't get an assist or another mutant was there. And Magik I believe doesn't count either.

Do you even have the plat? It's 0.1% because there are a couple hard/rng trophies. Gta V is just time consuming
