Thank you for the valuable information. I hope you post more videos related to exams/certifications. On an unrelated note, where do I get the hoodie you were wearing on this video :)
Great tips and video! I actually thought MS was offering videos on their website for studying and preparing for this exam but it's only textual information. So I bought a course on Udemy for preparing, what are your thoughts on that? MS is also updating the content of the exam this month, is there a huge difference you reckon?
Hey - I appreciate the kinds words. I am glad the video helped. I just read the changes it looks like it is just name changes to align to how we now name our products. I think they learning you have been doing will be great. I have used courses on Udemy before and it was good content. This exam does not go very deep so just have a good base understanding of Microsoft 365 products and their uses cases.
@@simonazamfir525 Hi Simona, currently I'm following Thomas Mitchells MS-900 course on Udemy. It's easy to follow but I have to get used to these online courses. Let me know what you think!
I am glad you love the videos :) thanks for the feedback. Good luck for when you take the ms-900. Great question, I will put the DP-200 exam on the list for me to complete and make a video on I just do not think it will be in December!
This depends on your background, but I think it can take less than a month, even with limited knowledge. The most important thing is to book a date to help motivate you to study!
I am very new to the IT world. What job can I apply at an entry level with this cert or what one should I add on to this after I pass to land my first job in Microsoft/IT? All reply’s appreciated
Because this is all cloud based (very important) I’d say go for your CompTIA A+. A lot of people give it a bad name because it’s all “basic” but after doing it, I knew things others didn’t who had been in IT a lot longer then me. A+ and 365 funda is a great building platform 😊 you might get a job as a Service Desk engineer (again, people shit on it but you will learn a lot in that role) or you might be able to get an internal IT job. I got my first job as a field engineer looking after the networks for about 10 schools in my area with nothing but half my A+ and being able to ‘talk the talk’ 😅 that first job is always the hardest to get in IT. Good luck my man 👍🏻
@@lanesh7245 I do have a degree but not in IT. I have a degree in Music Composition as I wanted to be a music teacher, finished my undergrad and going to do my PGCE then realised I don’t enjoy teaching. I kind of accidentally ended up in IT but very much enjoy it 😊 best of luck to you
What are your thoughts on college to certifications? I have been planing to go to a community college for my AAS in computer aided tech. I’m currently on my way out of the military and will be taking advantage of free education in MS900. Where do you think I should go from there? I have a vast knowledge about little things and my passion is huge for computers, I would greatly appreciate the boost in the right direction🤙🏽 thanks in advance.
Will H - I think this link will help docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/frequently-asked-questions Am I penalized for answering incorrectly? No, you are not penalized for answering incorrectly. You simply don’t earn some or all of the possible points. For single-point items, you need to answer completely and correctly to be awarded the point. For multi-point items, you earn points for the parts of your response that are correct, and you don’t earn points for the parts of your response that are incorrect. We don’t deduct points from your score for incorrect answers.

MS900 is free on UA-cam or free online on MS website...
Will the exam give you negative scoring meaning you will lose points for having a wrong answer?
