Hi Harry, thank you for the video. Is there a reporting system and wallboards for Microsoft Telephone System?
Thank you very much this is a very detailed and easy tutorial!
Hello, thanks for the video ! I am living in Belgium (part of the list). However, do you know if the number and system will still be working if you go on holiday in a country not in the list ? Will you still be able to call and receive calls using internet ? Thanks a lot !
Thanks for the videos, in regards to assigning numbers to an emergency location, what happens if the user is working from home, wouldn't the emergency services end up going to the wrong place?
Awesome video Harry. Do you happen to know why would the emergency location be grayed out?
Hi Harry, thanks for this. Does Teams premium support AI smart notes/meeting summary with the phone calls? thanks
I'm interested in a video that would be a spin off of your mdm vid, but focusing on how you would ideally set up a teams deskphone policy as company owned devices in endpoint manager.
A video on advanced setup would be helpful. It would be great if you could cover auto-attendant setup, call queues, etc. There are so many features in Teams Phone that aren't covered here.
What SIP trunks are being used for these calls? Does Microsoft have their own SIP trunks? Is this not something you would need to consider when building a teams PBX?
Thanks for the video! Where can I just find the prices so I can weigh my options?
Can i get a calling plan on thr business pro plan? Or must I have an enterptise plan?
I had a question around licenses. How do you get one which includes over 120minutes. I've chosen the "MS teams domestic calling plan" license and it wouldn't allow me to select option over 120minutes..
Also would the "MS teams phone with calling plan" serve for the same purpose?
Just set this up, had a few gothca's I thought I would pass along. It's confusing which underlying products are needed to accomplish this. You might want to mention that, from what I could find out, you do NOT need a E5 license, and can accomplish this with E3 licenses. I have yet to test that. There is a Teams Domestic Calling Plan (US), and a Teams Phone Standard. It *appears* that you only have to license the TDCP and not the TPS. But it also seems that the TDCP only includes outbound calling to any phone but the addition of the TPS adds inbound. Does anyone know for sure? It does take time for these numbers to be implemented. It's not instanteous. It took me almost two days to get it to work. Just so you know.
Hi Harry,
Does Teams allow text messaging?
Could you use Microsoft teams calling on a 365 family license ?
Great explanation! Just to verify, if you have 20 users with Office 365 E5 at $38 a pop, you still have to purchase 20 additional Microsoft Domestic Calling Plan addons at $8 a pop in order to get this setup? If that is the case, do you know if Microsoft 365 E5 has it all already included in one $57 bundle? Thank you!
That is correct. To use teams to make calls you need 3 licenses:
1) a license for the Teams app (included in Office 365 E3, Office 365 E5, Microsoft 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E5),
2) a license for Teams Phone to make internal calls (included in Office 365 E5 and Microsoft 365 E5), and
3) a calling plan to make calls outside the organization and get a phone number for the users.
So Microsoft 365 E5 includes 1) and 2), but you'll still need to separately purchase 3).
I dont see the domestic calling plan in the add-on in the subscription area on my admin panel - can you please guide ?
Thank you for this! What if we want to transfer a number to another user? I.e. an employee is terminated but we want to retain that number and voicemails/call logs. Would just assigning the number to someone else transfer that over?
After this is all configured, how do I set up voicemail?
For microsoft teams direct routing inbound calls, I am getting multiple 180 ringings from Microsoft teams side( that too with different tags) despite user is logged in at single device(no forking) ..Is there a way to restrict multiple 180 ringings to just one ?? i am expecting 180 ringing only once from microsoft teams side which is not happening.
How do you do the service line
Hi, in order to call internationally, do I need to buy both domestic and international phone plan. We bought international phone plan to create Canada phone number but it seems like calling from US doesn't work
This is for Legacy licenses, what is the equivalent of Phone System in NCE?
HI Harry, I would like to host a live phone on youtube, could my output from the call be routed youtube. I would also like Call Screening, Call Cueing and Call Blocking for those Trolls. What can teams do for me?
it works mobile app also this external calls.. ?.how about inbound so it's worked nicely if someone calls it back and that number is been using multiply person? how to that should routed then or is it who can pick it up first.. or should it go to people who is calling first to client or if are just new caller.. how that will goes different scenarios? is there possible to modify those parametres how that calls goes to in or out.. like if some vendor group using this plan and mobile app to receive calls via teams in their own phones (moving workers, is it possible? ) Azure communicatios services is it possible to get own country phone numbers to add people or group in there. Sorry that i ask many things :)
Is it possible to add extensions to users instead of different phone numbers? The primary number would be the same for all users. They would just have different extensions.
HI I need some Help , I have some Polycom CCX 400 Business Media IP Phone that did not come with Teams embedded them. Is it possible to have it initialized and setup for teams... That is to have it start up as team certified or Teams enabled Phones... Please Help we already have these phones for over 6 months but brand new
How do we enable voicemail notification in the channel?
Is this available in australia? unlimited domestic calls?
We're a small nonprofit, moving offices soon and want to take the time to upgrade our phone system. We still want physical desk phones (3 total, 2 lines, 1 number), but we're having a hell of a time trying to find the correct way to setup. This video was helpful , but we're a little stuck as we bought the Teams Phone with Calling Plan but cannot assign licenses and move forward with the process. Anyone able to give some help here?
My users is licensed properly and assigned the number but still gets the error like they don't have a domestic calling message
I purchase Microsoft Email service thru go daddy. Can I add phone service to my users?
Why would I not see Domestic Calling Plan as an available license?
Hey - my first question would be does your company own the add-on license.
@@HarryLowtonIT I was able to figure it out. I had to add the Microsoft 365 Phone system licenses before it would let me add the calling plan licenses.
Awesome news :) yea I did not dive deep into that part as I tried to keep the video short

My Teams doesn't look like yours.
The "team" at TEAMS needs to fix their email invites. They don't specify what timezone the meeting invite is for. MAJOR problem. So the app tries to guess what timezone each person is on, and it taylors it to that person. So invites look different for different timezones. But it guesses WRONG, so you will get a time, but no timezone. This causes major confusion and people showing up and hour early or an hour late for a meeting. So all this talking about TEAMS is really worthless until we solve the problem of knowing what time a meeting actually starts!
Make sure you manually type in the meeting time into your invite, with the timezone, so people can attend.
Perhaps the family work in McDonalds?
Freaking confused

Hi, where do we find the phone system? It jumped to where you show the licenses. I am using Microsoft 365.
