What a contrast. Very warm, well executed vocals, mixed with the bite and shrillness of the kazoo. It all worked very well. It was so well done that it reminded me of the Mama Cass version. Which is my favorite.

I am not sure, but I think I remember there is a Leon Redbone version where he plays the Kazoo. Can anyone confirm?. Maybe that is where she got the idea?? I must say that even her kazoo accompaniment is at par with the rest of the incredible performance, with interesting dynamics the really give the part character.
